Came here for a quiet lunch and was craving risotto. Their chicken and mushroom risotto was very delicious. Not too wet, flavoursome and the chicken was proper chicken, very succulent and not bland dry bits of chicken meat like in other places. The dessert was amazing too, really enjoyed the atmosphere - very calming, pretty and chilled. Light decor and lovely waiter, friendly but not too overly friendly! Would definitely recommend and return :)

What an amazing restaurant. Brilliant food amazing atmosphere great staff very friendly and helpful. The Manager Luca was amazing and made this evening even more special with his spectacular birthday celebration he performed with the alcoholic drink. The food was served the great presentation and tasted amazing. They also cater for gluten-free, which is amazing A fresh Italian meal i would also say the prices are very fair and to pay the extra service charge is worth it as the musicians throughout the night complete the evening. What an amazing place it was filled with friends couples familes children and everyone seems to be having a great night We will definitely be back and spreading the word. 7 of us were celebrating our friend birthday. We never have been in this area. I booked this restaurant because was close to our venue. What’s an amazing surprise. Really great welcoming, amazing staff. Brothers Marcus were fantastic. Was entertainment, great food, amazing atmosphere, lots of fun, laughter and joy. Thank you so much for a wonderful night. Highly recommended!!!!!

Food was good. I had arancini to start, perfectly cooked, crispy outside, soft melted cheese embedded in rice, yummy. Second course pizza Diavola, good but not special, could have been spicier. Food was let down by the service. I guess like so many other places they are suffering staff shortages. Took for ever to take order and then food was slow to arrive. We were late for a concert and had take away half eaten meals. The noise levels were above my threshold, which admittedly is low. Conclusion go for the food but allow plenty of time.

I dine at Osteria Pulcinella restaurant frequently, and it offers the best Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is superb and elegantly designed. The waiters are excellent, and Maria is simply exceptional.

As always, fantastic food, lovely people, great atmosphere. Always a reliable place for great food, thank you to Luca in particular for such a nice time :)

We celebrated our wedding in the private room at The Crown. Everything was perfect. Excellent service and the food was delicious. All our guests commented positively and it was the best celebration. Big shout out to Michelle and her team especially Freddie, Hannah and Milind who served us. We were able to decorate the table and room to our liking and the staff were very accommodating of this, allowing us to decorate in the morning.

We’ve been coming to The Crown for almost 5 years and decided it would be the perfect location for our small, informal wedding reception. From our initial enquiry right the way through to closing time on the day we cannot fault Michelle (Manager) and her amazing team. The food was simply amazing and we had some difficult guests to please. Not one person could fault the food. The atmosphere was amazing and the team were simply superb. We often wished we lived next door to the venue, but in reality, thank goodness we don’t…we’d never be out the place. The Crown, we simply love you!

I booked a Christmas meal for 21 people at The Crown - and the unanimous view was : It was fantastic. We were in a private dining room, which was beautifully laid out. The food was delicious - a good choice of dishes. The service was really excellent : fast, efficient and friendly. I visited the venue before the meal and the staff were really helpful in advising on options and explaining how the service would work. Overall excellent. We would definitely book again.

We had a fabulous meal from here. We ordered the Bream and the burger, followed by a chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Staff were very attentive, and couldn’t do enough. Can’t wait for our next visit!

If the food is as good as the rest this could become a favourite! Update Jan 25 - Sadly my last visits have been quite disappointing. Still lovely staff but obviously poorly trained but more importantly this place is very much let down by the poor food 😢

Lovely experience, I went for my sister birthday. We were a large party of 8 and they catered to us very well. Rafal’s service was impeccable and he went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be returning!! The place is very picturesque

A delightful venue for lunch or dinner (or coffee and cake!). There is a great atmosphere with lots of tables. I didn't realise how big a venue it was until I walked through the different areas on the way to the toilet. There is also a private section for hire. The menu is wide, with a twist. I had an open posh lamb kebab and fiends had halloumi and avo toast and a Christmas flatbread. The lamb had a green tinge from cooking but the taste was great. For dessert we had a lovely, moist almond and orange cake, carrot cake and baileys hot chocolate which were lovely. Mulled wine was on the menu but not available (7th Dec) so we had prosecco, served in wide glasses. The fusion type of menu is great with lots of choice for brunch, lunch or dinner.

Had a fantastic meal on a Saturday early evening. Great atmosphere and decoration. Lovely food and drink options. Great service.

I love this pub!! I’ve been coming here on my London holidays since 2011. The staff is excellent. Daniella and Paul have been amazing this week. Paul even tapped my favourite porter from Titanic (plum porter). I’m here once a year and wouldn’t have cask ale anywhere else in Twickenham.

Beat ever cask ale variety than you could ever imagine and all kept in best condition. Selection of Big Smoke Brewery beers alongside guests from all over the UK. Heritage interior which catch my eyes, family beer garden to rear as well as at the front. Full food menu available. Beat service and great staff team. Worth to visit if really like cask ales and ciders.

Great place to go for lunch before the quins match. It gets really busy on international games days so make sure you pre-book and get there early! Toilets are decent and clean. Small children's play area is nice for our two to go and play. Great atmosphere and the chef is very good with gluten free. On a previous visit he came out to chat to our gf party member to advise. Really impressed. Great selection of ciders, lagers and ales on the taps as well.

Excellent roast before the rugby, staff were super, found me even though I gave the wrong table number (thanks Daniella!). Excellent selection of ales, lagers and ciders. Would recommend 😎Super dog friendly as well!

GREAT! We really didn’t know what to eat, so we decided to go for something new, and we ended up at Greek Cook & Grill. We’d heard from friends that it was very nice but hadn’t had a chance to try it ourselves. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was great.We started with draft beer and a few starters. The waitress offered us some olives on the house, which was a nice gesture, and soon after that, our starters arrived. I chose grilled feta cheese, and my partner went for calamari. It was the best feta cheese I’ve ever had in my life—it had so much flavor and just the right amount of spices, AMAZING ! The lady who served us helped me with my wine choice by offering a little wine tasting of Greek wines. For the main course, we both chose chicken souvlaki, and it was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection—so juicy and tasty. At the end we were treated with a shot of Greek liqueur which was also very nice. The service was outstanding, and we will definitely go back.

Food and desserts are amazing! Although, I must say the bifteki is out of this world delicious! When we go there, we immediately feel welcome by the lovely family running it! Love the Greek music and the atmosphere too! X

Fantastic family restaurant, Spiros, Marita, Dennis and the family and wonderful and welcoming. Beautiful decor and Greek vibes, highly recommend the mix meat grill and Greek red wine. Will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. Thanks guys.

Fabulous, cosy pub on the river Thames with great Christmas decorations, atmosphere, and music, plus the open fire topped it off. The manager, Karim, and his staff are so obliging and attentive. Travelling solo and my first time in UK, it was my first experience at a good, old-fashioned British pub. Loved sitting by the fire having mulled wine. Went back another night for fish and chips, finishing the evening with a baileys hot chocolate. I recommend this spot for a drink or dinner and would come back next trip. Thanks for a lovely experience team and for creating a great memory.

Nice old pub with indoor and outdoor seating. A nice mix of beers on tap, not just the usual line up. We were not able to order food as gas/kitchen was out of service. Friendly bartender and a nice location overlooking the river. Not much parking.

Lovely place! Amazing food! My friend and I had Sunday roast (chicken and pork) and it was delicious! Karen (Cypriot manager) made us the best Bloody Mary too! Highly recommended!!

The Balmy Arms is an extremely popular Twickenham Pub on the Embankment, looking across the River Thames to Eel Pie Island. A large area of outside seating which is most popular except in bad weather, and a small but cosy bar inside. Good quality pub food is usually available, plus a changing range of real beers. Great riverside views and many places of interest make this a popular pub, both with locals and tourists. Just behind the Barmy Arms is Church Street, another popular tourist spot with plenty of restaurants.

Popped in on way to watch the Premiership Rugby Final. Its a smallish venue, tight on space. Obviously not allowed to spill out onto pavement so crammed into small standing space. We just stopped for drinks so can't comment on food. It was busy and the sound system was too loud, so patrons have to shout to be heard. Suggest tone down the music, remove the charity doughnut stall and oversized hot dog stall. Despite this, it was well attended and staff were friendly and efficient.

Very friendly service from the new owners, who will ensure you are well-fed and well-beveraged. The gyozas & pies on match days are high quality and very reasonable. Will be now be one of our main pre-/post-rugby eateries.

Great place for breakfast, or pre-match lunch, and post match drink. Food is good with large portions and excellently run by Karen. You need a reservation to eat on match days.

Warm and friendly staff, great selection of drinks, including many different types of beer. Excellent food, especially the moules. A wee bit expensive, but the quality makes the price worthwhile.

The best mussels I've had locally! so good, we went back again and ordered the exact same thing the next week! recommend the double cream, and the seafood starter is lovely! Great beer options and responsible prices in general. Will return again. Note: dogs allowed in the bar, but nay the restaurant bit.

My recent dining at Brouge Gastropub was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, it was a culinary delight. The food was delicious. I had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection - tender,juicy and bursting with flavour. The cocktails were also wonderful. The staff was helpful and attentive, making sure our dining experience was top-notch. The desserts were superb and nicely served. I highly recommend this restaurant.
