Extraordinary supper club in contemporary unfussy surroundings all curated by a Chef João. We learned afterwards that he had worked in some of the highest Michelin rated restaurants across Europe and with Cordon Bleu training which explains the incredible dishes. 7 courses for £50 plus service with £22 wine pairing (generous pours on our neighbours tables!) We had the lovely homemade elderflower cordial tonic. My personal favourite was tomatoes all the way followed closely by the smoked haddock. The experience includes the Chef explaining where all of the ingredients came from (some very difficult/expensive to source) and a lovely intro before each dish. Currently running Fridays and Saturdays at 730pm in Fantail. They can accommodate dietary restrictions but need at least 48 hours notice as they source the ingredients. Really wonderful experience, takes about 2-2.5 hours with some surprise features. Great for groups, date nights and catch ups as very relaxed atmosphere.

Canto73 impressed us with its efficient and effective team of three, orchestrating a delightful 7-course meal. What stood out was the chef's thoughtful touch – before each course, he emerged to elucidate the origins of the ingredients, adding a layer of appreciation for the culinary journey. The creativity and deliciousness of each dish, coupled with the great value offered, make Canto73 a winning package. Operating as a supper club exclusively on Fridays and Saturdays at 19:30 adds an element of exclusivity to the experience. We left with plans to return eagerly, anticipating the unveiling of a new menu.

Best word to describe the experience at Canto73 - sensational. Every course is a surprise and delight, as the chef explains the ingredients and where they’ve come from (some of it foraged, some from small producers) - things I’ve never heard of - pineapple weed, stressed tomatoes (!) Definitely felt worth more than the price we paid, and without the pressure of most fine dining establishments. Can’t wait for the autumn menu!

Absolutely amazing experience! Food was phenomenal, the experience itself was amazing with great information and stories per course and the vibe and feel of the restaurant was stunning. 10/10 couldn’t recommend more! Also fab at catering for gluten free

I saw this restaurant on an influencer page and wanted to try it for so long! I saw a video of them making the Syrian lamb dish with sour cherries. It was honestly so so good! The prices reflect the high service and standards for food. We also tried the chicken yogurt dish and it was also really nice. I would definitely come back again for the same dishes. I highly recommend!

Had a Turkish house red and a falafel wrap with humous and sald and it came to under £18. Service was super-efficient and friendly. Sadly I had a gig next door so it was only going to be a quick stop. I was taken care of as their was a prior reservation but I assured I would be quick and I left before the reseervation time was due. I really appreciate the efficient service and extremely tasty food. I was almost back in the Middle East again!

Super lovely place! The food was delicious - great range of vegetarian and meat options, and super fun mix of cuisines. We got the roasted aubergine and the chickpea stew and they were both delicious! They came with steaming bread and some hummus we ordered, all yummy! What a feast.

I tried the Mate Latte but was served quite cold and paid £4... It was the coldest day of the year but barista should know to reheat the mugs before. I tried the vegan Danish pastry and it was good. The room was very very cold so it wasn't a cosy experience. I'll will come back in summer.

Underrated brunch spot! Lovely conservatory and garden at the back. And unique concept of Venzualen/Argentinan food (sorry I can’t quite remember as it was a long time ago I went there). Staff really friendly. Food could be a bit spicier though!

Ordered the vegan breakfast plate, which was all they were serving on the weekend I visited. Food was delicious and fresh and big. It cost £17 so a little high in price but it's great quality food. They have a courtyard out back with most of the tables covered so we got to enjoy the sunny weather without getting burnt.

I ordered 1 x Empanada but I had to order 3 more!! The Chimi churri is incredible and the service was great! One of the few places I would actually give 5 stars for and recommend to friends and family. We had the Humita, Feijoada and the Shrooms & Greens dishes. 100% recommend each you won't be disappointed!

Amazing restaurant in Stoke Newington! Wait staff are very attentive and helpful, giving food recommendations (are also very easy on the eyes). Went with my mum who had wanted to go for a long time, and didn’t disappoint. We shared the Stokey’s schnitzel between the two of us, and were both full. Schnitzel was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying salads were delicious. Food is very well priced for the portion size. Chef’s recommendation for dessert was the Basque cheesecake, and it was amazing! We were also given loyalty cards. Couldn’t recommend more.

Enter Schnitzel Forever which specializes in Schnitzel located in Stoke Newington right next to Hollywood Candy. They started their amazing Schnitzel during the pandemic and now they have a successful restaurant with many diners. I was lucky to get a table as I was early as they were fully booked on a Wednesday night. As a Schnitzel specialist, they definitely got it right from daily oil changes, good quality to to meat quality. Simple as that! For starters, the original Schnitzel is a good one to start on and for me Chicken was pure foodgasm. Each bite was delicious, the chicken breast was battered extremely thin but remained moist from frying and the Japanese coating was light and crispy and did not retain the oil or have a funny taste. It was a good balance because the coating was not too thick or over powering in taste that it didn't really need any sauces but fresh lemon took it to another lemon. The fresh dill and parsley garnishing complemented it nicely and there was also dill butter which are all up my alley. On the menu, you will find some fancy Schnitzel with sauces and toppings and I like the way they even have Saganaki which is three different types of cheese coated in breadcrumbs as well as the fried burrata. Overall, I definitely recommend this and even Jay Rayner approves! The owner is really really nice.

Best schnitzel I had in London hands down!! Had the chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes. The seasoning was perfect, didn’t even need sauce. The herby butter on the schnitzel was excellent. The dish size is massive and very filling. Schnitzel light and not oily. Excellent mashed potatoes as well. The design of the place is really nice and the service is excellent.

Organic cumberland sausage served with greasy orange juice. Bite into it while it's hot! The roasted tomatoes and mushrooms were tender and juicy. The sweetness of the tomato and the saltiness of the bacon intertwine in a rich layer of flavor that completely breaks the monotony of the traditional English breakfast. Fresh sourdough bread topped with long-simmered traditional chickpeas gives you a boost to get through the day. 🐑 Marhaba: A tingle of Middle Eastern flavor If you also like to try different flavors, Marhaba is a must! Delicious! 🥹 I originally ordered this dish for two pieces of grilled cheese 🧀, but it turned out that the bread was also delicious. Although it felt a little hard at first, the Greek yogurt was really wonderful after dipping. They gave away two kinds of dippers. When you're tired of big chunks of red meat, it's nice to scoop up a refreshing Middle Eastern salad with a spoon 😋it's soooo Good.

Highly recommend the Tahini latte ☕️!! It has a thicker texture than regular latte but soooooo yum, you can smell and taste the tahini in it, blended in in a warm, soulful way☀️ I had a Damascus and my friend ordered the Harkney Feast. The babaganoush & hummus in the Damascus goes really well with the pita so I dived right in and didn’t worry about making my hands messy, haha! Everything’s made in the house, including tomato baked beans in the Hackney Feast🍅 it doesn’t have the fake sweetness of all canned beans and the sausage is tender & soft~ They also have no-added-sugar smoothies 🍓 which is perfect for warm weathers.

Omg! Beautiful brunch here! I got the Morning Palestine dish and it was sensational! The muhammra was so tasty, so was the sesame bread and everything else! The highlight was definitely the baklava french toast! 100% recommend! Amazing pistachio flavor and crunch! Would so recommend! Prices are on the higher price, the vibe inside in nice, our waiter was lovely, one of the waitress looked like she didn’t want to be there but overall we had a great brunch!

Best restaurant in Rome. The fettuccine was to die for as well as the sea bass. Overall very friendly staff and lovely ambiance especially at night time. Highly recommend to everyone. To add on this place was definitely not a tourist trap and had genuine tasty authentic food!

Fabulous tasting menu. Balsamic teriyaki redfish was a highlight, alongside soft shell crab sushi. Amazing sake selection on the side. Highly recommend.

We opted for the four-course set lunch menu, including the Salmon Lover’s and Tuna Lover’s dishes, and for desert the Basque cheesecake with dark chocolate and yuzu. Everything was absolutely sublime. The presentation, quality, and overall experience were impeccable. I’d love to return and explore the dinner menu next time.

Small and delicious. This unpretentious restaurant serves delicate and tasty dishes. The toasted barley tea was a surprise, the tempura was light and savory, and the basque cheese cake was amazing. The atmosphere is cozy , the staff very friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable for London. The location is great to enjoy the Newington high street . A very enjoyable experience. An in demand eatery, there was a significant queue lining up to get into Esters. The wait at midday was about 30 minutes, but we were accommodated promptly. The menu isn’t extensive but has several dishes that were competing to be eaten. We went with breakfast sandwiches as they were the most cost efficient and delicious sounding. They were as expected - delightfully tasty. We finished off with the bread and butter option which looked like a croissant in loaf form. Best thing we ordered. The brownie was nice enough but not noteworthy. Quite pricey but of course it is given the clientele.

Small local “lite-bite” pit-stop that goes large on the minimalism.. and then some. A backyard seating area hardly adds sparkle to the lustre here. Selection limited but the quality and flavour effortlessly dismisses any apprehensions. Service here pleasant and efficient. The port of call in this neighbourhood despite the space constraints.

Cute cafe in London, serving one of the best cookies in the city! I came here for one thing only: to try their miso white chocolate cookie. It was absolutely delicious. The cookie was crispy on the outside and very buttery on the inside, with flakes of sea salt sprinkled on top. The thick gooey chips of white chocolate were slightly melted inside and went beautiful with the miso flavour in the background. For less than 3 pounds too, incredible value. If you’re looking for the best cookie in London, you’ve got to come: this might be it!

The service here was truly delightful. Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel right at home. The food was exceptionally fresh and bursting with flavor in every bite. The pancakes, in particular, were outstanding, light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. This is definitely a top spot for brunch, offering both great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a memorable meal!

Not bad, but not great either! It's good presentation, but flavor-wise nothing special. Sea bass was good, lamb was too hard. NOT a good value for money. Food 3 stars, but thanks to great atmosphere and service, it deserves 4 stars.

Had a great time by the bar, could see all the action in the kitchen. The food was great, Gambas and anchovies were our favourite. Morena was a great host and very friendly.

One of the best tapas restaurants I have ever been to in London! We managed to make a last-minute same-day reservation on a Saturday evening at 7 and the food absolutely didn't disappoint. Upon arrival at the restaurant I immediately had a good feeling about the food quality because we got to sit at the kitchen counter seeing how they prepare everything in front of our eyes and all the tapas looked absolutely amazing. We went with the plain tortilla, seabass ceviche, fried chick peas, braised beef cheek in apple sauce and roast lamb cutlet with hummus. Tortilla was creamy and savoury, ceviche was super fresh and sauce was so refreshing with the grapes it's definitely a good way to prepare your palette for something even more flavourful. The fried chickpeas were such a pleasant surprise with its savoury taste from the batter and it went nicely as a side with the beef in apple sauce to enhance that flavour profile. The beef was super tender and melted in your mouth and the apple sauce had a pleasant flavour to it. The lamb was a little chewy for me personally but together with the hummus it was great. Service was amazing with friendly waiters and chefs serving throughout our time there. I was really satisfied by the experience and would definitely come back soon.

Second time I've been and it didn't quite live up to the first's standards. Only 2 of us and we only ordered 2 drinks, they brought of 1 (don't know why this wasn't a flag). And later they quite obviously forgot one of our dishes when they asked if we were finished. The rest of it was great though!

Loved our 1st visit to escocesa, we brought a friend there and he literally said that it was the best food he’s eaten since a long time, this was about chipirrones which are my favorite dish from the menu. The rest was also great, perhaps a bit too salty to my taste but it’s a personal preference. The service was kind and helpful, and we really enjoyed our time there
