Small and delicious. This unpretentious restaurant serves delicate and tasty dishes. The toasted barley tea was a surprise, the tempura was light and savory, and the basque cheese cake was amazing. The atmosphere is cozy , the staff very friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable for London. The location is great to enjoy the Newington high street . A very enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Fabulous tasting menu. Balsamic teriyaki redfish was a highlight, alongside soft shell crab sushi. Amazing sake selection on the side. Highly recommend.

We opted for the four-course set lunch menu, including the Salmon Lover’s and Tuna Lover’s dishes, and for desert the Basque cheesecake with dark chocolate and yuzu. Everything was absolutely sublime. The presentation, quality, and overall experience were impeccable. I’d love to return and explore the dinner menu next time.
