We had the Sunday roast. The dining room has a lovely ambience and is well worth a visit. Overall we thought the food was lovely, however we thought there could be a few improvements, in particular the service was a little slow and the food was only lukewarm on arrival, the plates were not warmed and there were no tablecloths, some of the items in the roast were also very salty, which others seated near us also remarked on. The restaurant has great potential, but needs to work on service and attention to detail a bit more. Overall we would recommend.

I was on a mission to find the best Sunday Roast in London… and I found one! We shared a slow-cooked lamb leg between the two and it was absolutely delicious. All the trimmings were superb too, very full of flavour. We also got cauliflower cheese as a side. Will be coming back and bringing friends and family too. Excellent service and very friendly staff.

Utter perfection - each dish was better than the last with brilliant service. High quality ingredients prepared expertly but without a lot of fuss. The bisque the accompanied the crab toast was to die for, and the flavours of the sides perfectly complimented the mains. A huge thank you to the talented and detailed orientated sommelier Junhee, for a brilliant wine selection to accompany the meal - avoided all of the "obvious" choices adding the thrill of trying new (and delicious!) wines. Also thanks to Tricia for her impeccable service and menu suggestions - you both made our experience just that much more enjoyable.

Absolutely wonderful Sunday lunch at the Midland Grand. We’ve gone twice now and the service and food are consistently excellent. Great wine selection, great roast menu, and the trimmings that come with the roast are delicious and perfectly cooked. The service is smart, friendly and very cheerful. Top marks always here.

Beautiful interior, enables a highly aesthetic dining experience flowing with ambience. The menu was slightly limited. The dessert was very good. The crab toast was amazing. There is a closet to put your jackets and outerwear. The staff are friendly and delightful.
