Easily the best Malaysian food that I have eaten in this incredibly cosy restaurant with a real family vibe. The staff were attentive and welcoming and recommended portion sizes. I booked for a Saturday lunch and it was cheap but filling and set me up for the day. The roti banjir was so flavourful and you could see that everyone in the restaurant had them on their tables. The Karipaps were a great little side dish that were once again bursting with flavour that I’d highly suggest.

The owner Ady is a lovely person! His food is even better. The food was equally stunning and flavorful. I would recommend trying everything on the menu!

blown away by the food here! best malaysian i’ve had in london - the food was so authentic but the flavours and the presentation felt unique. the portion sizes were great too! can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu only thing to note was that the space is quite small, bordering on cramped than cosy…hoping they upsize at some point because i’m sure it’d be a success if they did!

I had dinner with my girlfriend here and we really enjoyed it. The service was fast and friendly and the food was very good you could easily tell it was authentic Malaysian food. We particularly enjoyed the chicken and the egg noodles, both very tasty. They also make their own durian ice cream which was super good. If, and only if, you like durian, go for it. We will definitely come back again.

We reserved a table for Sunday’s brunch service and we got Jelatah, Roti Jala Sage and the Rendang Kerang as starters. All of them where very yummy, but the “saged” roti was particulary flavorful and so was the cockles rendang –deep and complex mix! For the mains we got their notorious Ayam Goreng Susu (we followed Vittles magazine advice) and Mee Goreng with tofu. The Mee Goreng was very rich, but the Ayam dish was such incredible. Sweet and salty and sososososo rich!! Oh we also got a tasty classic Teh Tarik (not pictured, sorry) and a veeeeery yumyums Teh ‘O’ Ais Lemon. Finally, Lanny (the host) was so incredibly cheerful and kind, they gave us the sweetest experience. Please go and enjoy chef Ady Yacob food and Lanny’s company!
