Had a wonderful Saturday evening dinner and drinks at The Apollo. We had the cheeseburger and fries and the fish and chips with some delicious sides of fries, peas, mash and curry sauce of course! These were both outstanding dishes. But also, don’t go without getting the cheese croquettes - beautifully crisp outside and to die for! The service was the best I’ve had in London, they were busy, but our waitress, Estella, still made us feel like royalty. Atmosphere was 10/10, beautifully run pub. Manager on duty (pretty sure his name was Freddie) made our experience all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be back!
Great place for a Sunday roast especially when it's cold outside. All the roasts were fantastic and was topped off with a good sticky toffee pudding
A lovely establishment. The team were very friendly and the food was delish! I’ll happily return when I’m back in the area. We had Fish and chips, and the Chicken Parmigiana.
Visited twice recently and has been great on both occasion. The first time we had some lovely drinks in the patio garden with a few friends would definitely recommend in both summer and winter. The gochujang chicken is a must as well as a small plate! 2nd time we had visited for a Sunday roast. Was one of the best we’d had in a long time. The roast was big enough, however we had starters and some bread so, you may want to order a side (3 cheese and truffle cauliflower) if just getting a roast on its own. Definitely coming again. 10/10
Went to the Apollo Arms yesterday and was absolutely blown away. Our server, Jack (who was very charming!), was fantastic. He gave us great recommendations when we couldn’t decide, and I’m so glad he did. Thanks to him, I got to try their Featherblade beef, and I can honestly say it’s the best beef I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The ambiance was lovely—relaxed and inviting—and the place is beautifully designed. Overall, an unforgettable experience. I couldn’t recommend it enough!
