This is a complex condition that requires a highly skilled and compassionate vet, and I’ve always been impressed by his expertise, dedication, and the way he truly listens to both pets and their owners. I trusted him completely before, but since visiting his new practice, my expectations have been exceeded. You can tell how much he loves his work, and his practical yet deeply caring approach has made all the difference in helping my dog stay healthy and happy. On top of that, the location is super convenient, and the clinic itself is modern, stylish, and feels so welcoming. If you’re looking for a vet who combines professionalism with genuine care and a personal touch, I cannot recommend Dr. Niven and his team enough. Vet in the City is Absolutely Fantastic Vet Practice! As a very happy Sphynx cat mum, I couldn’t t be more thrilled to have learned Dr. Niven and partners are back in their newly opened veterinary practice! The clinic is so lovely, modern, clean, and welcoming. Dr. Niven always takes time to carefully examine my suede baby and answers all my questions, he provides the best possible care. Took our dog in for his first consultation with this new practice. Martin talked us through our treatment options and we came away more informed. Key to note that this is an independent vet practice, which for us is preferable. A very good calm space, and great service.

We changed to Vet in the City from a corporate practice and we are very happy to have done so. Martin and Niven have created a warm and welcoming environment. Our slightly nervous deaf cavalier was soon at ease with Martin and even ate treats from his hand, he never normally does that with people he doesn’t know. Would highly recommend.

I‘ve just had a wonderful first visit with my dog. The whole front of house team are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the practice itself looks great too! Dr.Niven had clearly read the file and was prepared, and treated my dog so kindly. Really glad to have switched from a chain practice to an independently owned one, and while I hope we won’t need to visit often (for bivouacs reasons), this is the best place to go to!
