The food was really good, but the presentation was even better. The mini masala dosas were delightful and packed with flavours; however, the real MVPs were the chutneys that came with it. I really enjoyed their cocktail “Botanical Garden”. I found it complimented the every course rather beautifully. The asparagus, beans and edamame was good, but forgetful. It provided a balanced flavour among all the other items ordered, but I’d recommend you skip this item. What you must absolutely get is the Southern s-a-a-t— these crispy idlis had the perfect crunch, topped with tangy and spicy chutneys with ginger balancing the spice in every bite. Amazing. The staff was lovely, and the service was excellent. The most memorable bit was receiving a printed photo from the staff! I do think it’s still missing the ambience you’d expect, especially with the harsh overhead lights. Introducing softer yellow lights would make it much more comfortable.

What an amazing experience! The food is absolutely delicious, the Biryani is out of this world ! I never tasted a Biryani as good as the one I had in Quilon, the only thing was, I found the lamb a bit dry by the rice just simply amazing! The rest of the food was superb, I had the Crab cake as a starter and it was really delicious, I tried the Black Cod and Scallops from my colleagues and there were cook to perfection and very fresh Staff are very attentive and professional it was a great experience and I would definitely be coming back!

We first read about Quilon a couple of years ago as they offered a tasting menu accompanied with beer instead of wine which sounded interesting. We finally got round to visiting and were not disappointed. After an excellent cocktail each in the bar (the Qojito is amazing) we took our seats in the restaurant and chose the seafood tasting menu to eat. The beer option didn't seem to be there so we went for a bottle of white wine to go with the seafood. From the fantastic poppadoms and chutneys to the delicious desserts the food was all tremendous. Particular standouts were the scallop and the black cod, however all the food was top notch. The portions didn't look small but they were very filling and we certainly didn't come out feeling hungry. Great food, excellent service and reasonable value - it's fair to say our experience at Quilon was worth the wait.

Great food! Had a ribeye steak and it was delicious. Staff was accommodating and took us in even without reservation. Reasonably priced. Located a few minutes walk from Victoria train station. A great dining experience.

I took my Kiwi family in for a proper Sunday Roast and this meal exceeded our expectations. Both the pork belly and beef rump were cooked beautifully. The sides were great, and the sticky toffee pudding a standout. Our hostess Yula was fantastic, really attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

🚇 Victoria 🍺 £7.45 Hawkstone The Marquis of Westminster is located on the corner of Warwick Way and busy Belgrave Road in Pimlico. The nearest Tube is Victoria, it’s a five minute walk to get here. This pub was established in 1839 and historically was tied to the nearby Watney’s Brewery. There are still three Watney’s lanterns adorning the exterior today. The pub is named after The Marquis of Westminster who was ironically teetotal, a supporter of the temperance movement, and instrumental in closing 40 beer houses in his constituency of Mayfair. This Gastropub is set out over three floors. The main bar is on the ground floor, just off the main bar is a spiral staircase which leads up to an elegant dining room and down to the Cellar Bar. The main bar has a bare boarded floor, some mixed height furniture and an “L” shaped servery which follows the line of the bar. The overall decor has a rustic traditional feel. The beer offering is a selection of mainstream stalwarts which included three cask ales. I noticed they had @hawkstone lager available, so I opted for a pint of that. My pint was great, I really enjoyed it but cost a whopping £7.45!!. The food menu is elevated pub classics, Fish & Chips costs £18.50, roasts are available on a Sunday. I arrived around 5pm on a chilly Friday afternoon in March. The pub was busy and had a nice buzz about it. The punters were a mix of post work pinters plus a few tourists taking time out. The service was on point, the lady who served me was welcoming and courteous. Although this is a Gastro, this pub has proper pub credentials. The main bar area is set up well for those who are here for the beer. The surroundings are pleasant, the beer selection was decent but pricey and the service was on point. We had a great evening at the marquise of Westminster. The service was attentive and polite. The food was excellent, the ripeye steak was slightly overcooked but did not affect the quality of the dish. The goat cheese lasagne was spot on. It was a great dinner for our last evening in London

We came here for a work Christmas dinner and enjoyed the experience. The food was good and the staff were friendly. I had the Turkey Christmas dinner option and it was good. The Snownuts dessert was amazing but unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of it as I wolfed it down so quickly!

Food was fine. Steaks cooked to order and an issue with a burger was rectified very quickly without any hassle. Gluten free options were very good lots of variety. Pictured is the chicken shawarma gluten free. When ordering I was asked if gluten free was a preference or an allergy. I’m not sure how this is relevant because if someone is asking for gluten free all efforts should be taken to make the food gluten free. The chicken was bland and the salad was a bit excessive. Drinks were quick to arrive when ordered. 4/5.

Four of us came here early evening on Wednesday for a pre-show meal. We never booked in advance, but we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us to a lovely table for 4. Once seated a member of staff took our drinks order & promptly delivered them with a bit of humour in his service. The menu is extensive & varied, which also has a good selection for vegetarians as we had two in our party. Our order was taken by an attentive member of staff & it wasn't long before our starters then main meal was served. Food was hot, tasty & very well presented. The restaurant was becoming very busy, but we were not put under any pressure to finish & pay. Only criticism very warm, would benefit from better aicon or fans.

The restaurant left a good impression on me. The food was fresh and very tasty, with portions just right. The service was decent and got the job done. Overall, a place worth recommending, especially for a quiet meal in a nice atmosphere

Very good Italian restaurant about 10 minutes walk from St James's Park underground Station. We both had starters of seared scallops which were delicious. One of us followed with a red prawn tagliolini pasta dish and the other with grilled tuna both of which were very nice. We accompanied the meal with a couple of glasses of a good Italian white from the interesting and extensive wine list. Very friendly and helpful service in a pleasant setting.

Little Italy style restaurant in Westminster area. Service was attentive, pasta were good (more northern Italian style, less tomato heavy). Bar made drinks as asked, perfect.

This is our third time visiting this wonderful restaurant, and it never disappoints. Conveniently located just a short walk from Big Ben, this place has become a favorite of ours in London. The food is consistently delicious, with the lamb fillet being an absolute must-try. The staff continues to impress with their friendliness and attentiveness, making us feel right at home every visit. The kids love the inviting and warm atmosphere inside. A special thanks to the manager, Mr. Ali, whose professionalism and helpfulness elevate the experience even further. This restaurant comes highly recommended. Enjoy the photos!

The food and service were wonderful. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant and very open. The portions were generous and though we had the beef fillet, the Fish and Chips looked amazing. The calamari for starters was great and the tiramisu, to end it, hit the spot.

Such cool history behind this place! Came here after a long day of sightseeing and had a great meal. Delicious fish and chips and mac and cheese. The atmosphere was amazing, I really enjoyed all the history they had present throughout the establishment. If you are in the area I highly recommend.

We came for Sunday lunch. We booked a table upstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the pub. I ordered roast beef and my wife had steak which were both very nice. If I had any criticism it would be about the children's menu which has been discontinued which meant there wasn't really anything we could order for our little boy apart from chicken wings. That said I can highly recommend the Albert, we enjoyed our time there

This is a such landmark pub on the Victoria Avenue which did not get bombed down during the WWII! The building itself is very welcoming and inviting! When you walked by it, just draw you in! We walked by a few times and decided to coming tonight and we are so glad we did! The first beer the bartender poured for me, when I touch the glass, the glass is warm, maybe that beer mug is just out of the dish washing machine! She immediately use another mug to pour me another beer! The fish and chips also is the best so far as we been stayed in London for a week now! The fish is fluffy and crispy, the chips are Crispy in the soft side! Both are perfectly seasoned! We will love to come back again for another drink in this pub soon!

Beautiful building, cozy interior, attentive and quick service. The prices were completely reasonable considering the location. We were satisfied with every dish, but the chocolate-caramel cake was absolutely incredible!

I visited this bar in September with my father, and it was an amazing experience! The service was excellent—quick and friendly. I enjoyed a delicious beer while taking in the cozy atmosphere and great music. The selection of drinks was diverse and of high quality. I can't wait to return to London and visit this place again. Highly recommend it to anyone in the city!

The atmosphere is pure British. They have nice fish and chips, I found that it was perfectly buttered for me. The food came out quite fast, despite there were many people here. The Tavern is located right in front of Big Ben, which is really good. However, most of the visitors are tourists, same as I and I didn't find many British people here. I spent around 20£ on fish&chips and about 8£ on Stella, which is quite cheap in this busy area. Minuses: I didn't find a place to put my coat, same as the table next to me. And I couldn't put it on a stool as well.

St. Stephen's Tavern: Pie-fection! Despite the NFL presence on top of tourist, I snagged a great table and was welcomed by friendly staff. I ordered the Steak & Tangle Foot pie with creamy mash and gravy at the bar, and it arrived piping hot and absolutely delicious! Every bite was a flavor explosion. Highly recommend this spot to any American visiting London!
