Quilon

“We had the seafood tasting menu at Quilon, and it was absolutely wonderful! The flavors were exquisite, and each dish was beautifully presented. The service was attentive and elevated the overall experience. The only slight letdown was the dessert, which didn’t quite match the exceptional standard of the rest of the menu. Nevertheless, a memorable dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of their offerings. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!”

“The pub handled our Christmas party of about 30 with ease - the food was tasty, service was smooth and unobtrusive (no yelling names), and drink options extensive. We mostly used the first floor which has its own bar, the tables were festively decorated. The road below wasn’t distracting and the food beautifully plated. It’s rare to say venison in a pub was good! Afterwards the pub downstairs was -on a Tuesday night- really vibrant and full. Many of our team stayed on for drinks and were really enjoying themselves. I’d certainly return for a casual night.”

“Quite decent food, very cool interior and vibe of the place. However, one of our burgers was cold and we had to wait longer for another one, which came with wrong fries. Staff are always running around (no surprise, considering the place is always full) and it was hard to catch them and ask for help with the cold food.”

“A lovely Italian restaurant near Westminster Abbey. Been here a few times now and the food is consistently fabulous and authentic 🤩. Lovely service from the staff and quick too. Strange that there's no chicken base dishes on the menu. But still amazing!”

“Had a lovely lunch here with my son, food is great but was very quiet whilst we were there. The food was good but the meals are overpriced but you do pay more for eating in this area. The location is ideal if you are sightseeing around the London Eye and Westminster. We were well looked after and the service is really good as is their cappuccino.”

St Stephen's Tavern
10 Bridge St, London SW1A 2JR, UK
Phone: 020 7925 2286
“St Stephen's Tavern is a quintessential London pub that nails the classic British comfort food—fish and chips. The battered cod is perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and flaky on the inside. Paired with thick-cut chips that are golden and fluffy, it’s the type of dish that feels both satisfying and nostalgic. The mushy peas and tartar sauce are simple but spot-on accompaniments, and the portion size is generous without feeling overwhelming. The pub itself has a cozy, traditional vibe with dark wood interiors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Service is friendly, and it’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a leisurely pint to go with your meal. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this spot is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, well-executed fish and chips in London.”
