Local gem. Quality service and ingredients to make interesting dishes. I loved the summer Asian flavoured cod with hispi cabbage. New turnips dish is not my favourite. Wine pairing is excellent.

What a little gem in tooting. Can't believe I never went before. Incredible tasting menu with high-quality ingredients and attention to detail. This was art on a plate!! And that cheesecake dessert was life changing....so good!! Looking forward to the next time here. Honestly one of the best tasting menus I have tried in London

Fabulous evening My sons 21st….he wanted a small family affair with nice food and I found Smoke & Salt. We had the loveliest night. Started with drinks in Tooting Market and wandered along to the restaurant. Had the 7 course menu. Every course was excellent. Not one dish disappointed. We loved everything. We are a family that loves to try new tastes and dishes but this was excellent. Sometimes with taster menu it can be tiny but the food came in abundance and such excellent quality and amazing tastes. The staff were attentive and had great sense humour but didn’t impose. Just right. Could not recommend highly enough. Will be back when the new menu is out and would tell anyone in the Tooting area or visiting to give this restaurant a visit. If anyone has done menu at Six at Nico……this is how it should be done….how it should taste, how it should look Well done Smoke & Salt you smashed it 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🥂🍾

The seven-course menu was enjoyable overall – the food was well thought out and the presentation was excellent. Service was top-notch, with staff attentive and professional throughout. While the food was good, it didn’t entirely blow me away, and the price felt a bit on the higher side for what was offered. Still, it’s worth a visit for the experience and attention to detail in both the atmosphere and service.

Hands down, some of the most delicious food I've eaten lately! They utilize only the freshest ingredients and ensure that each dish is properly prepared. The lambrais was very memorable. Must try🤤🤤 I was really impressed by the service sasank. He was very knowledgable about the food and drinks. He provided fantastic suggestions. Truly excellent service.

We recently visited Casuarina Tree restaurant and had an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The restaurant had a friendly environment and a great vibe, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. A special thanks to Ridma, who was exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Her excellent service truly elevated our dining experience. The place is great: excellent location, attentive service, and wonderful food! We had Sri Lankan dinner and it was simply memorable. Fernando, the waiter, was the best: friendly and attentive. I give our expedience a 10 out of 10. One marvelous thing: They have complementary American breakfast for guests. This is such a thoughtful detail because in London food and drinks cost an arm and a leg.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with a group of friends, and the experience was exceptional. Is it a restaurant or is it a pub. Not sure, but I'll go out on a limb and say it's 60% pub 40% restaurant. That's not to say there was anything wrong with their food - it was excellent - it just seems that way to me. Bid sprawling place with loads of room to move about which would no doubt be a huge plus when these guys are doing a function which seems to quite popular. The menu is huge as if they make every dish known to man, but what we had was really nice flavourful food coming in good sized portions. Sadly, my friend was disappointed with no ales on tap but was more than placated by the Doom Bar in a bottle and the Guinness was excellent.

This is a typical pub but with a big difference. it has an excellent Indian restaurant, serving delicious food with a good friendly service. The seating isn't what you may get in a posh restaurant but who cares when the food is so good, and you're in a pub. There is a car park.

We have had takeaway from here before and it is easily the best curry around. Coming in was just as expected nice quieter area to sit with music on in the back ground and fantastic food!! Fantastic value for money and staff are very attentive and polite! 5 star

Good food always on point with spice how we likes. Staff is great always smiling and giving best service specially Sunny and PK is best. Veg Tempura and Veg Kheema is extremely yummy and delicious.

Hidden away in the Mitcham back roads, this a venue that requires private transport (as opposed to public) and the ability to deal with stairs (although there are small lifts). To be brutally honest it is a place with pretension, from the fake grass outside to the shabby entrance inside, it looks as if it needs a good clean. The impression is not helped by the toilet door hanging on one hinge and requiring a bit of force to open. The toilets are impressive - golden sinks and golden thrones, the latter being let down by the fact that to enter the stall one has to literally squeeze against the wall and the toilet to get round the door. The entrance hall upstairs has a massive chandelier along the length of the slightly-too-low ceiling. This opens out into a venue that is perfect for weddings and has an Indian Wedding Hall vibe that almost works. It is again let down by an overall feeling of being past its prime. Catering appeared to be "ok", not great. Are you spotting the theme running through this? The vegetarian offering was dire - frozen mixed veg with an insipid sauce - and the salad appeared to be shop-bought lettuce and coleslaw. However, I must say that I don't know if the venue did the catering or not. Similarly, bar was OK but soon ran out of ice. Seats and tables were pretty much the usual fare but it was the gold cutlery and gold-tinged plates that brought me back to a typical Indian-themed wedding. As i said, the venue was ok, a bit pretentious and certainly past it's prime and in need of a lick of paint. The staff were great, really cannot fault them.

Our wedding reception at Chak89 was amazing, especially Hari being our coordinator and his team who accommodated our guests requirements. Guests boasted the food and entertainment was phenomenal and would definitely come back again. The manager also was present on the night and made sure the event was running smoothly.

Rohan It was my fist time here and I was pleased with the warm welcome I was greeted with upon my arrival. The staff were very professional and helpful. Any queries I had was dealt with professionally. The staff are pleasant and well mannered. The bathroom was immaculately clean. The only thing there seems to be an issue with the hot water. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this venue to my family and friends. Well Done guys!

I had the pleasure of attending a gala Indian dinner organised by Chak 89 in Hilton Wembley, before an event featuring an incredible Indian artist singer Vishal Mishra, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and truly a feast for the senses. Each dish offered a perfect balance of spices and authentic taste from India. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for the event. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to indulge in fantastic Indian cuisine and top-notch service! Will highly recommended Chak 89 for the above.

Fantastic food, service and hospitality. The pani puri, raita and mixed grill were exceptional. We had our 1 year old with us and they went out of their way to accomodate for him (eg cleaning his bottles etc unprompted). Finally, they overheard that it was my birthday and gave us complimentary cake. Cannot recommend enough!

Incredible food, flavoursome and lovely venue, lavish!. One of the best curries I have had in a while and the grill meats are really good. Very tasty!

This is our first time at the Ravensbury. We were served by Nilay who was friendly, welcoming and could not have been more helpful. He made some good recommendations of dishes and we tried new things. All food was beautifully cooked. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Accessibility: we arrived about 6:30 and there was ample parking outside, when it gets busier there is also parking available on the main road (yellow line). Service: always on point, the gentleman how served us was very attentive and gave some good advice on what to order as well as quantities. We came with a party of 9 and the food came out very quickly. We were checked in a few times during our time there and they were very patient. Food: the food is decent m, the starters mainly are the best, we ordered a load of starters with a couple of mains. The mixed grill is great and tasty. The drinks are average and as expected but the mocktails are not the greatest. Atmosphere: they have a private dining/ events area so it gets lovely as the evening progresses. All in all a decent experience

I recently visited Toby Carvery and had the pleasure of being served by Patrick. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional. His warm, friendly demeanor and genuine attentiveness stood out immediately. Patrick was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. He checked in at just the right times, making sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed or interrupted. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and truly cares about his guests. The food was delicious, but Patrick’s stellar service made the visit unforgettable. It’s rare to encounter someone who makes such a positive impact on a dining experience. Really glad we came here. Had a table for 2, but plenty of families and groups of friends coming for the carvery. A rabbit warren of rooms to eat in! It is a grade 2 listed building so you definitely feel part of the house, rather than just an open plan restaurant. Service was very friendly and efficient considering the amount of tables. Car park requires you to leave registration with reception to avoid a ticket. Prices are reprisingly reasonable considering today's food pricing (eg. Saturday carvery was £11). Quality of the meat was fantastic - the gammon was very flavoursome, and the turkey was moist. They don't add service on automatically so please make sure to tip. Will be going back.

We happened upon this charming place to spend our Boxing Day with the most friendly and generous staff. Samantha our server and Natalie the host warmly welcomed us and showed us the most engaging afternoon meal and atmosphere. We feel so lucky we chanced upon Toby Carver Park Place on our road trip through the UK.
