This is our first time at the Ravensbury. We were served by Nilay who was friendly, welcoming and could not have been more helpful. He made some good recommendations of dishes and we tried new things. All food was beautifully cooked. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely meal.
Accessibility: we arrived about 6:30 and there was ample parking outside, when it gets busier there is also parking available on the main road (yellow line). Service: always on point, the gentleman how served us was very attentive and gave some good advice on what to order as well as quantities. We came with a party of 9 and the food came out very quickly. We were checked in a few times during our time there and they were very patient. Food: the food is decent m, the starters mainly are the best, we ordered a load of starters with a couple of mains. The mixed grill is great and tasty. The drinks are average and as expected but the mocktails are not the greatest. Atmosphere: they have a private dining/ events area so it gets lovely as the evening progresses. All in all a decent experience
Enjoyed a wonderful evening at this venue. The main eating area is nicely decorated and is a large space. It's approximately 30 feet in length and 20 feet in width. My party booked a private area that had access to an outside area (will be a great spot in the summer), the bar is also situated in this area and it has great facilities: the set up consists of a big screen, various light settings and DJ facilities. Our setup was for a two course self-serve eat as much as you like buffet: starter and main course. The starter consisted of a choice of three options: spring rolls, king prawns, and Lamb seek kebab. The main course included Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Korma, bombay alloo, vegetable rice, and nan bread. This course cost £35. Overall, the food was enjoyable, the King Prawns coated in batter are some of the best I have had, the spring rolls were tasty, and the meet options were seasoned well.
Fantastic food, service and hospitality. The pani puri, raita and mixed grill were exceptional. We had our 1 year old with us and they went out of their way to accomodate for him (eg cleaning his bottles etc unprompted). Finally, they overheard that it was my birthday and gave us complimentary cake. Cannot recommend enough!
Incredible food, flavoursome and lovely venue, lavish!. One of the best curries I have had in a while and the grill meats are really good. Very tasty!
