The food here is good, generous portions I quite enjoyed it. My partner found it to be overrated. The portion size is quite large which is good value for money and the sauce on the salad was delicious. The service was a tad slow but with the traffic it’s to be expected. Dining area is a little crowded all the while lovely spot for lunch or dinner. Ps. Be mindful of the times you choose to dine as you may likely be required to queue.
I have been here twice now. The first time was a 10 minute wait at 4pm on a Tuesday. The second was a 50 minute wait at 5pm on a Friday. The food was better the second time I went. Sometimes they have a limited menu item like a T-bone steak or Wagyu burger (which are more expensive). The sauce tastes like a combination of butter, spices, mustard, maybe even pickle. Tastes a lot better than it sounds and highly recommend it, compliments the steak, fries and bread very well. The lighting in the window seats is a bit dim and would benefit from better lighting. The staff is very efficient and food arrives within 10 minutes. £19 includes all of the sides. There is a 5% service charge which I think is incredible value. Swiss Butter is a gem. I just think they could maybe benefit from a booking system, but an hour wait isn’t too bad if you expect it. I love it here. I’ll have to try the desserts someday.
Lovely service, didn't have to wait long. Small menu, but the portions are big. Shared two desserts with my friends, The molten lava chocolate cake was to die for, and the pain perdu was a bit too sweet for my liking! Would go again!
