Great album launch by Jana and also preceded by a very good support act
Fantastic place with great live Jazz on Wednesdays, and many other events. The owners are friendly and interesting people. It's reasonably priced, and a good choice of wines and food. If you go more than once, you will start recognising people, but if you are not in a social mood, there are different areas so you can sit away from your adoring fans. There are plants everywhere.
I went for a poetry evening here and thought it was a really great venue. Of course the crowd of people there affected my view but it must be a good venue if so many people attend on a regular basis
Really loved the vibe in here. Especially when there is a good band playing. Bar staff are quick to serve and nice.
A great historic building. The Hackney Empire is worth a visit, well restored and maintained for 124 years.
