We came for dinner on a Friday evening, it wasn’t too busy and we got seated quickly. We wanted to sit outside but they were closing that area. We tried the goats cheese and fig, this was great cheese was cooked perfectly and the figs just enhanced the dish. The mozzarella tomato salad was refreshing alongside the pizza. We only got a London margarita pizza to share but it was filling. We will be coming again to try a different pizza.

The service was absolutely great. I ordered the Chicago pizza and loved it. It looks small but after a quarter of it I tapped out, so got it in a takeaway box. Rest of it fed three other friends after, that’s how fulfilling it was haha. My American friend said it wasn’t an authentic Chicago pizza but I really liked the taste of it anyway.

Just so delicious! We had the Chicago style ones, and I struggled to finish so I took the rest home. I ate 3/4 and didn’t eat anything for the rest of the day. So worth it! Love the decor too!

It comes a little difficult to rate this place, to be completely honest. We got nachos, and they were properly nice. 5/5 We then tried two pizzas the London style was very good but rather heavy, half is more than enough, but rich and flavourful 4/5 The other pizza was Chicago style, with bufala and Rocket. This pizza style doesn't agree with my taste very much, as it is not cooked enough and part of the dough is too chewy. Last but not least is the tomato used: because of the cooking method, it remains rather watery, and the taste is the biggest problem for me, it is too acidic. 3/5 I would go there again, but not for the Chicago style.

Today, a friend and I visited Japes in Greenwich, and it truly made my day! :) Location: It's just a 7-minute walk from Greenwich station, so it's extremely easy to access. Food: My friend and I tried the Veggie London-style pizza, and it was the tastiest, cheesiest, and crunchiest pizza I have ever had. The portion was more than enough for both of us, as we aren't big eaters. The pizza doesn't come with any complimentary dip, so we had to order it separately, but that's not a big deal! Service: We had booked a table in advance but arrived half an hour early. The staff kindly let us in and allocated a table without any fuss. The service was prompt, and the pizza arrived in just 7-10 minutes, so we were able to enjoy it in no time. Atmosphere: It's a lovely, cozy place that doesn't feel cramped. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded when we went in. Recommendation: 10/10 (already planning the next visit!)
