I honestly never expected to eat so well in a small restaurant in a little-known street in Croydon. After leaving Gatwick airport, I searched on Google Maps for a Japanese restaurant near me that was open until 10pm, I found this one, I was very lucky. I made a big order because we were very hungry. I tried everything and I was very satisfied, especially the fried food. The place is small but well organized and clean, the service was excellent. Absolutely recommended.
Visited for dinner. The service here was very good. The restaurant is quite small with limited seating and was quite busy on the Friday night we visited. We got a variety of items and all were quite good. The only disappointment was the tuna tataki which was extremely fishy and unpleasant, but the rest of the meal was great. The nigiri set and sashimi sets were fresh and with decent portions. Soft shell crab was cooked well and tasted fresh. The plum wine they have is delicious!
Wonderful meal here this evening. Enjoyed trying lots of different dishes - all freshly cooked / delicious. Servers were friendly/ knowledgeable (especially the young, curly haired lad), explaining the menu. Quite pricey, but worth it for a special night out. Only criticism was that the lights were way too bright - could do with being a bit more dimmed & the music was a bit too funky for my tastes 😁😁
Amazing small restaurant in Coulsdon. All the food choices tasted so good! Our waiter Ethan provided excellent service which really enhanced the evening! Definitely recommend this restaurant.
