GREAT FOR SOLO DINERS! Perched at a comfy spot by the bar. The service was attentive, portions were decent, and I'm not mad at the prices either. Not sure if it's family-owned but felt like it was run family values in mind. It was clean and cute to boot. Really nice spot. I'd definitely go back.
The food was on point! Staff were friendly and polite. The biggest let down was the time it took for the food to come. It was so long and no one came to update us or anything. We never complained as we were in a group so we just talked to pass the time. Id say reasonably priced too. Grapefruit soda was nice too. But they don’t charge service charge - does it make it ok for the long wait? We did also want to give some tips but waiter left too quickly.
Brunch for the experts. This is probably the easiest review I’ve made in a long time. Firedog in Cockfosters on the northern outskirts of London delivers on every level. Been here a couple of times and the food is really good and consistent. Large selection and most of the meals have a different med twist to them. Drinks are excellent as well. I have a main meal plus 2 drinks (one hot and cold, non alcoholic) and pay just over £20 including tip which i think is reasonable considering the location and quality.
I love love love! Food is of the highest standard, using fresh, quality ingredients. The menu is innovative, and has a point of difference. The venue is lovely, with great decor, and ambience. The staff are amazing. Always friendly, helpful, attentive, warm, welcoming, and go above and beyond. Nothing is ever too much. 5 star service consistently. Thank you team firedog for always bringing the best!
