Went on a Monday so was expecting it to be quiet but there was a great buzzy atmosphere. We asked for off menu cocktails (mai tais) which they happily accommodated and these were delicious and strong. Food was exceptional, especially the prawn starter and the crab mac & cheese. Felt like being in central London without having to make the journey! Definitely recommend.
Had a delightful lunch at Branded yesterday. I started with an Old Fashioned, which was excellent. George at Claridge’s Bar does the best Old Fashioned, but this wasn’t too far behind! The scallop starter was exceptional, with the shellfish perfectly timed and moist. The accompanying bacon was out of the top drawer, too. An outstanding dish. The steaks come from Donald Russell, so they are of very good quality. I had the fillet, and it was delicious. The homemade peppercorn sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the chunky chips of a very high standard. Dessert was an excellent crème brûlée, with a lovely crunchy top and soft body. My companions ate from the set menu, which is ridiculously good value. The wine list is very impressive for a “local” restaurant; we shared a bottle of Gigondas, which married superbly with the steak. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive or overbearing. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and the atmosphere most inviting. An absolutely gorgeous meal; I live miles from Bromley but will certainly return the next time I’m in the area.
Great Sunday lunch! In general I like Branded and while recently I have started to feel it's slightly on the pricey side of what it should be the roast dinner doesn't disappoint. The staff and service is good. The drink selection is also good (however the wine list does seem to jump up in price quite quickly). The menu is also good with plenty of things that look enticing and you want to try. Overall I would go back and feel confident I was going to have a good meal and not just for the Sunday option.
Came for a birthday meal, first time visit. Very smart restaurant and a modern feel to the place. Came without a reservation but thankfully it was a quiet weekday evening, I imagine it gets very busy at peak times. The service was friendly, helpful and professional. This is primarily a steak place but they do have a nice varied fish and pasta selection. We had starters and mains with some wine to go alongside. The food was gorgeous. We had crab and scallops starters and steak and fish and chips for mains.Couldn't fault them. The wine was also very nice. Prices were reasonable for a good quality restaurant. My only minor criticisms are that the seats we had were very low for the table we had and also the upbeat dance music didn't quite feel very complimentary for the feel of the place, otherwise it was faultless.I would definitely recommend the restaurant to others. Update after second visit.. Visited again for a Christmas party. Everything was still spot on.Food, staff and entire restaurant experience still highly recommendable.
Fantastic place. If there were more stars to give, I would’ve. So unexpected. Beautiful ambiance, clean great decor, lovely customer service, amazing food. I also ordered an aperoll spritz and even that was fantastic. Coffee on point too. The manager Nino made us feel so welcome, really looked after us. Lovely experience. We will definitely be back.
