Food was soo good! I loved everything from sauces to the rice and the meat was tender. The first waiter was informative and then the waitress who took over, Wega, was really kind and she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

Popped in for lunch and was warmly greeted by the staff. Ordered a mixed wrap as a set meal deal. The wrap was one of the nicest I've had. A complimentary piece of baklava with the bill. Will definitely be back!

The Ledbury

127 Ledbury Rd, London W11 2AQ, UK | Restaurant
P: 020 7792 9090

Rating: 4.7 (1592) Price Level:

One of my favorite 3 stars in the world! I think the price is so good for what you get. The food tastes amazing (there’s not a single dish that I don’t like, even the substitutions due to my dietary restrictions are well thought out, composed, dishes. And they are particularly good at seafood.) The service is on the next level. The first time I was here, they noticed that I wasn’t eating the sourdough crust, and for the next serving of bread they actually only gave me the middle parts!!!!!! This time around, my Mocktail came a little late and the sommelier felt so bad that he said it was on him! I have just been so impressed with the food and the attention to detail. I truly don’t understand how this could be only a 4.7!

Visited recently for a late lunch. I had already been a few years back when it held 2 Michelin Stars. I’m happy to say the 3rd star is very well deserved. The quality of ingredients and the skill in cooking make a meal here a relative bargain compared to some other offerings in London. Wine list is very wide ranging and still approachable. Service is knowledgeable without being overly stuffy or fussy. All things considered, it’s close to perfect.

the best service of all the Michelin restaurants we have ever been to. Very friendly and positive staff. Excellent wine list. The food is generally really tasty and creative. It a couple of portions, in my opinion, the perfect combination of flavors was sacrificed to showiness and populism (like the dish with black caviar, which completely negated the flavor range of the other, really interesting ingredients. Overall a really cool restaurant with a good atmosphere, service, thoughtful details of dishes and interior and decent food.

This place had been on my list for a while and it mostly lived up to expectations. We came for Friday night dinner and enjoyed the relaxed and inviting atmosphere which struck a perfect balance without feeling too formal. The food was largely excellent, though the dessert unfortunately wasn't to my taste which was a shame. My favourites from the tasting menu were the tuna, scallop, duck and the pre dessert. The service was polished, friendly and helpful.

Bizzaro: A Taste of Italy in London ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment I called ahead to reserve a table, Bizzaro impressed me with their attentive service. The manager recognized my voice when I arrived and had my table ready, which was a lovely touch. My waiter was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations. The food was delicious! Authentic Italian dishes with fresh ingredients and wonderful flavors. I especially enjoyed the lamb chops (though a touch more seasoning would have been perfect!). It's clear they take pride in their cuisine. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to London! #ItalianFood #LondonEats #GreatService #AuthenticCuisine #HiddenGem

What a proper gem! There is a full selection of authentic Italian food, including pizza, pasta, and many other tasty treats. There are vegetarian options too. The food is delicious, but what’s truly astonishing are the prices. Honestly, it’s surprising that meals that good are as well priced as they are (especially in London). I’ve been there twice now in the past month. And I’ll be back again (hopefully a plethora of times) in future!

Authentic Italian food. Well presented and delicious. Ate there twice during our 6 day stay in London. Loved it the first time and just had to return. A very busy restaurant and can be noisy so if you want an intimate meal, this isn’t the place. If you want a great authentic Italian meal, reasonably priced for London, this is definitely the place. It won’t disappoint. All the food served was delicious and we enjoyed every bite. Service is good and the servers work very hard. They are friendly and efficient. We felt like we were back in Italy again (we haven’t found food this good outside of Italy). Highly recommend.

My wife and I were in the area, so we popped into this place by chance and we weren't disappointed. The staff, specifically Chris and Mikey, were really attentive. My wife being pregnant, mentioned this and Chris advised on what she could probably have. The food tasted great and looked equally as awesome. The decor was really cosy and cute, fitting the menu perfectly. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic food. Love the concept of small, large and medium plates! Felt like we were eating a tasting menu with most dishes very well made. Attentive service from Kia. The marmite cigars were tasty and creative. Although I'm not a fan of goats cheese, the tarts with a burst of honey were amazing. Enjoyed the small pasta portion, perfect size when you want to try several dishes and great variety. Worth leaving room for dessert, was spoilt for choice with the lemon tart being light, zingy and refreshing. Broad bean hummus was fairly bland and mackerel wasn't anything special but wowed by everything else. Old fashioned banana rum cocktail was delicious!

This place is still great as ever. We hadn’t visited in way too long and popped in this evening for the Christmas tasting menu. Inventive and exciting dishes were served by an attentive staff. Cozy anytime, but especially around the holidays, The Shed does not disappoint. A great culinary experience all around.

The food here is creative, fresh and completely delicious. Anyone that has anything to say about British food should come here first. Our mains were the beef and the venison which were tender and flavourful, although my unexpected favourite was the Jerusalem artichoke tart. The service was attentive and friendly (I quite like the staff uniforms. They go well with the theme!). The atmosphere really felt like a converted aesthetic garden shed. It’s was warm and inviting, and complemented the food. Highly recommended!

Incredible food. The owners are so kind and welcoming. The food came in a timely manner and was incredibly fresh. The falafel was so crispy and I loved the labne. Salad was perfectly seasoned and so fresh. Such a wonderful experience. Amazing Lebanese food.

We decided to try AlWaha on our last night in London. We were staying in Notting Hill and were looking for a small, locally owned place for a quiet, casual dinner. It was wonderful. The gentlemen working there were so hospitable and wanted everyone to enjoy their dining experience. We felt so doted upon, and kept saying, if we lived there, we would dine at AlWaha all the time. And the food…. Oh my gosh!! Everything we ordered was so delicious!! 2 days later, we are still talking about the feta cheese salad and the Kafta with yogurt and pine nuts!!

Absolutely loved everything about Al Waha. The environment and service feels like a warm hug and the food is exceptional. Maher was a wonderful and kind server too! I have grown up eating Lebanese food and this was some of the very best! The only downside to the experience is I don’t get to eat here all the time, but I’ll make sure to stop everytime I’m in London moving forward. Thank you for the best possible first meal in London!!!

Normah's

23, 25 Queensway, London W2 4QJ, UK | Restaurant
P: Not available

Rating: 4.7 (590) Price Level:

Normah's Cafe is hands down the best Malaysian restaurant I have ever been to. From the flavorful and authentic food to the warm and attentive service, everything is exceptional. There's a reason why there's always a long waiting list to get a reservation—it's just that good and truly in high demand. If you haven't been yet, it's absolutely worth the wait!

Anonymous - 2 weeks ago

Rating: 4 / 5

This restaurant is located inside a market building with shops and other restaurants. Table reservation is a must! Can be done via email (scroll to the bottom of Normah's website). They are usually booked out for a few weeks. Loved the food. The vegetarian laksa was stunning! The service, atmosphere, and cleanliness of the dining area could've been a bit better when we visited, but the flavours made up for it!

Anonymous - a month ago

Rating: 4 / 5

Normah's, tucked away in Queensway Market, offers a simple dining experience that resonates with those who appreciate mom-and-pop establishments serving elevated home-style Malaysian cuisine. Do note the restaurant is on the far left of the first perpendicular corridor you see when you enter the Queensway market. It took me quite a while to find this place the first time. First of all, the Nasi Goreng was a standout. The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain distinct, and the crispy elements with the fried rice struck a harmonious balance, resulting in a dish that was both satisfying and flavourful. I can keep downing this again and again. Best Malaysian Nasi Goreng Inahd in London indeed. Also, the Prawn Laksa was exceptional. The broth, rich and aromatic, had a depth of flavor that was both comforting and invigorating. In addition, we tried the Roti Canai with Beef Rendang. While the beef rendang was tender, it leaned towards a sweeter profile and lacked the expected heat, differing from versions I have enjoyed elsewhere. The roti also was too flaky causing it to crumble excessively, which resulted in a texture that deviated from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Finally, despite the small space, they made up for that with stellar service that is warm and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Normah, the lady in charge, offers a delightful journey into Malaysian cuisine. While there were minor disappointments with the Roti Canai and Beef Rendang, the overall experience was enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant to those seeking authentic Malaysian flavours in a homely setting and look forward to returning to this spot some other day.

Como Garden

37-45 Kensington High St, London W8 5ED, UK | Italian Restaurant
P: 020 7937 7287

Rating: 4.6 (2604) Price Level:

The food at Como Garden was great! I had the roast chicken, which was flavorful and filling. There are plenty of halal options on the menu, which is a big plus. The tiramisu was the highlight of the meal; I’d come back just for that. The vanilla coffee, however, was overly sweet and not to my taste. The interior is beautifully designed, with lush greenery, warm lighting, and cozy wicker lamps creating a stylish and inviting setting. However, we visited around 2 PM, and the atmosphere felt too quiet-music was barely audible, which made conversations feel loud. Service was prompt, and the presentation of the dishes was excellent. The exterior is charming with its vibrant red awning and fairy lights, adding to the overall appeal. A lovely spot for a meal, though a livelier atmosphere would enhance the experience.

Quite a lovely place, we lucky they had table available for us since we didn’t book anything. The moment we got seated other people started to come and the place got full pretty quickly. I do suggest making a reservation. Amazing atmosphere! My favorite in restaurants, dimmed lights and great music playing somewhere in the background. Food was lovely too, we got stuffed pretty quickly as well, so do consider ordering food for sharing or just one dish per person i would suggest otherwise won’t be able to finish it. Food is fresh u can taste that. The only thing we had to wait for food for quite a bit but it was totally worth it.

This place is really good, we started with a salmon brisket then moved to the main dishes, they were a regular pasta and a vegggie pizza. We came here several times on our trip to London and it was great! Pizza, pastas, and salad all outstanding. Nice to have some comfort food when traveling. It's the service though, that makes this restaurant special. They make you feel like a regular, even if you only come in once. There are several other Italian restaurants on the same street, but this is the one. No reservations needed during the week anyway.

We ate here twice during our stay and had 2 very difference experiences. On the first visit a lovely man came out and invited us in. He then made sure everything was perfect. On the second night he wasn't present (night off I assume) and the service wasn't as good. We asked for ground pepper and got a salt and pepper put on the table, they forgot about our side salad which arrived once I'd eaten half my pizza. Service charge was added automatically which I didn't like as a tip should reflect the service. Stick with pasta as that blows the the pizza out the water. Side salad was bland.

Bayswater Arms

Rating: 4.1 (3035) Price Level:

We went to bayswater arms on Sunday Lunch, and they had just one free table so we are lucky 😊 service is awesome and the place is so cozy and beautiful, what you can expect for an English pub, but better. We went for toasts and sandwiches, turkey and beef, and both of them were delicious and fair price. I usually take soda and I could repeat without any issue for free (it's not happening everywhere, specially in my country, but seems it's standard in London). They also have Sunday roast, and hopefully next time we will order it ❤️ thanks much!

Fantastic pub! Elegant and classic interior design, chill atmosphere, nice music, super friendly and helpful staff, tasty food! I like the way they cook Full English Breakfast: not too much oil. BTW the cheerful bartender actually asked how old I am when I ordered a cider. Pretty sure it’s a nice joke bc I’m already 30. Do I really look like I’m underage? ;)

I really wanted to like this pub. It’s my first day in London and was happy to see that there were a few in my area. Likes: Food, location, atmosphere. Dislikes: Service, seating We had the fish n chips and smoked Turkey and smoked ham hock pie. They were on point and I recommend them. We also tried the mulled wine, being the holidays; although tasty, poor presentation. Lastly, we found it in poor taste to constantly ask us to leave this review before even leaving. Weird.
