We were looking for a restaurant where to eat quickly since we had less than one hour before going to an appointment. We got to this little but cozy Italian restaurant at lunch time. We met the owner (Maurizio) who was so warm and kind that we became friends in no time!! We explained we were in a particular hurry, we ordered some mains that he recommended and in less than 10 minutes he came out of the kitchen with three dishes of pasta that were so good, we thought to be on the Alps!! La Dolce Vita is a lively Italian restaurant with good food and a vibrant atmosphere. The service is fine, and the dishes are enjoyable, making it a solid choice for an Italian meal. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to in the future!
A great find under a ten minute walk from the railway station. Lovely simple little restaurant but with superb food. The manager was so friendly and helpful too! It is well worth a visit to enjoy traditional Italian food either onsite or takeaway.
What a lovely trip down memory lane. We started out time in London almost 10 years back with a Fettucini fungi especk at La Dolce Vita in Waldegrave Road. Ten years on, and every bit as delicious! Thanks Mauricio and team for making all our visits to your lovely restaurant and garden memorable. Food consistently great. Can highly recommend for couples, families and functions. Nice garden in the summer too
We really enjoyed our time here. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and service. The starters, mains, and desserts were all delicious. We loved it. This is also ranked number 1 on tripadvisor for restaurants in Teddington.
