Delicious food. The staff is great and so friendly, our waitress knew the menu very well, she made great suggestions. The ambience is great. Highly recommended. Don’t forget to try the lamb chops!

Overall the food was good and the service was great. We got a table very quickly. The okra fries were really tasty (very small portion) but the other dishes tried lacked some flavour and spices. The place was crowded, the music was nice even though it was very loud from all the people talking. You can definitely get more authentic food for almost half the price at more local places but the experience is worth trying once I guess.

Great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, we needed to wait for about 30 mins due to it being busy around 12 but with plenty of seating downstairs it wasn't a problem. The staff were great making sure we had what we needed and we're very friendly. The food was so good, full of flavour, beautifully cooked and well prepared and presented. The only comment on the food is it was all a touch hotter than anticipated. Even so it didn't take anything away from the food or the experience. Well worth a visit.

The food is good here but not the best Indian food I’ve eaten. The restaurant is nice inside, particularly downstairs in the booths but we were made to wait at the door despite having a reservation and while people who just rocked up were given tables before us. Hit a table 20mins after our reservation time, that needs to be fixed. The service inside at the table was excellent and we were given some free starters because of the wait. Worth a visit if you’re in the area but arrive 10mins before your reservation to avoid the mess at the door.

Wow! Absolutely perfectly cooked steaks in a nice cosy setting. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable on the different types of steaks. The chateaubriand was probably the best I've had in a long time and was cooked as per the chefs recommendation! Definitely straight into my top 5 steak restaurants in London, give them a try, you won't be disappointed! I'll be back very soon, thank you for making the evening very special!

We had been living in the UK for 6months and decided to have our first Sunday roast! We were not disappointed at all!! From the start the staff were so warm and friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food was just stunning, full of flavour and we weren’t waiting too long at all! We had the beef roast and pork belly 🍽️ We were convinced to have some desert as a treat and the sticky toffee pudding was delicious! We will definitely be returning for many more Sundays to come 🫶🏻

Perfect spot for a cosy Autumn/Winter roast! Staff are delightful and all roasts come with multitude of sides - including the stinking bishop cauliflower cheese, delicious enough to convert even the most anti-cauliflower eaters. Sticky toffee pudding was perfect end as well. Highly recommend but book ahead to secure your spot.

Amazing Sunday roast! The food was delicious, they were great about me being gluten intolerant. The service was friendly and quick, I’d definitely recommend and will be going back.

We were immediately charmed by this cafe. The atmosphere is everything you are expecting from the outside with a bustling vibe. A real local experience. The plates are loaded high with comforting food that feels like it came straight out of your mums kitchen in the early 2000s. Prices are super reasonable. Would definitely recommend the stop by if you’re hungry - vegetarian and halal available. Orders the vegan breakfast - and I am not a huge fan of fake meats - and was pleasantly surprised when the vegan sausage was more like a sausage shaped bubble and squeak, instead of a traditional vegan sausage!

I’ve lived in Kennington for 15 years and have always meant to try this place. Finally did today and regret not coming in sooner. Friendly staff, good food, good service. Good fry up with decent Cumberland style sausages and bubble (bit of a rarity south of the river). I’ll definitely be back and would recommend!

This place is an absolute must when visiting London. It has everything you want in a greasy spoon. As an Irishman it pains me to say this but I've never had such an amazing breakfast in all my life. The bubble, fried slice, and sausage were nothing short of mind blowing. Staff and atmosphere was also superb!

Lovely local cafe with gigantic and delicious breakfast. Gee was our server, and he welcomed us into his place. And even though it was filled with mostly locals, he humored us with group photos. Men in high visibility construction vests were seated all around us. You know you’ve found a gem when this is the case. Would return!

Excelente portuguese restaurant.

A spontaneous unplanned visit turned into one of the tastiest meals I’ve had in London. Luis welcomed us with a big smile and took our orders. There is an instant good vibe at Fumeiro when you walk in. It feels like you’ve stepped off the streets of Porto into a family kitchen with linen table cloths and a Portuguese deli attached. Super unique and friendly. The house special lamb skewer was one of those dishes you wish went on forever. Large pieces of tasty juicy lamb on a giant skewer fresh off the charcoal. The fresh mint sauce and traditional Portuguese accompaniments left me with a big smile. I would eat this every day if I could! My friend ordered mini steak with egg and fries which went down a treat. £5 pints of yummy superbock beer and large glasses of delicious Portuguese wine for less than a fiver…prices simply unheard of in London in 2024. But the food is the main star. Our visit this time was unplanned but I have a new favourite. Thank you Luis and team for a happy, delicious and memorable Friday night dinner!

Best francesinha I’ve ever eaten! Delicious! Steak inside was beautifully cooked and had a lovely chargrilled taste as well. Great service and a nicely chilled Super Bock on draft as well.

Food was amazing!

This is def my fav restaurant in London. Next to the main street, has a convenient location. Not only provides me a good flavour food, but also has a nice eating experience. I really recommend their beef noodles, one of the best noodles in London I promise.

Stumbled across this new restaurant on a meal ordering app and decided to dine in since it’s so close to our flat. We both really like this restaurant. The food is authentically Szechuan here. Super spice and flavorful. I have a feeling that this will be our regular dining spot.

I had an excellent dining here，The food was incredibly flavorful and authentic, making it one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in a while. The ambience was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving great Chinese food!

Very delicious Sichuan food. Do come with company and book in advance as it is not a big restaurant. The portion is big so with friends you can have a hearty and satisfying meal while catching up.

The food was delicious, definitely go for the Prawn in Choux and the Double Raviolo. Special shout out to Jason who is wonderful, approachable and an asset to the restaurant. We will be back!

Amazing atmosphere in a very cute and comfortable decorative wooden setting and books on a shelf. Divided into two areas, one near the kitchen and on the bar side very bright and welcoming, the other more private inside. Absolutely fantastic and well balanced dishes to share. Kind and attentive service to our availability.

I often visit this restaurant after doing my shopping, the food is beautifully cooked by a Portuguese chef, there is an excellent wine and beer choice as well as soft drinks if preferred. The manager and staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to make your visit a pleasant experience, one to definitely visit if in the area.

We were a group of 15 friends out for dinner and decided to try Portuguese cuisine – and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent: attentive, with plenty of good-natured humour. The sparkling Malvasia was incredible. As a sommelier, I hadn’t expected such fine, fresh aromas, followed by a couple of lovely whites and reds. (Around six of us stuck with sparkling all evening!) The food was fresh, lightly seasoned, but absolutely delicious. They offer a diverse menu with plenty of options to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The ambiance was wonderful, and we had a brilliant time. Highly recommended!

Excellent food and great prices! Been going for a few years now.

Food are acceptable in this place, the Dexter beef (something like a beef tartare) is not bad, the best dish we had was probably the potato cake with liver and kumquat on top which sounds “adventurous” but actually the whole combination was quite excellent. The cod fish was a bit too salty for our taste. The potato bread with garlic butter, for us the garlic butter was not garlic enough, the bread crust was not crunchy enough, but it is kind of fluffy in the middle. Service wise staffs are polite, quite helpful when it comes to recommendations of you are not sure what you want……atmosphere is pretty good, the place is not too loud that you can’t hear your friends………

Came back to Brunswick House after 2 years for birthday celebrations. The place is so pretty and cute as I remembered. The food was absolutely stunning，we loved it！Even the fries was standing out！We ordered to share and the waitresses were very attentive and helpful in terms of menu choices. We had a great time would defenitely recommend.

I love the decorations inside the restaurant. It is suitable for a date. 5/5 for the whole chicken 2/5 for the cod cuz it is really salty 5/5 for the eggs, potato bread and dessert The chocolate cake with malt ice cream is too sweet The coconut and cinnamon sorbet with blood orange can not be tasted the cinnamon inside, but it is really delicious! My fav.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. The potato bread, cabbage and tartare were stand out dishes. Also the French fries were great!! It’s not cheap but worth it for an occasion, a very special restaurant!

EXCELLENT Italian. Salvatore was so attentive and charming!!! The pappardelle de Fungi, seafood stew and sea bass were SUPURB! Everything was delicious!! We will definitely be back when we are in London!!

To be fair, the food was amazing. I just had one dosh that can easily serve 3 people. My oppinion.. try the beans :) I have also tried green vine.. Not bad.. not bad at all. Home kooked food is always the best. Will go there again :)

Delicious Portuguese cuisine with very generous portions. All their dishes were very tasty.

As with many Portuguese restaurants around this area, the food was in big portions, affordable, but most of all absolutely delicious! But I think what makes this place stand out is the relaxed atmosphere (as my mate said, “it’s like we’re on holiday”), and the superbly kind and unpretentious yet attentive staff. The three lions transported us back to the streets of Lisbon, with the taste of £3 superbocks lingering as we waddled back to the station. 10/10!

Oh my God!! Now it become my favourite restaurant in London!! There are packed of local people and Portuguese so u know must be awesome! Very authentic, comfortable and humble style restaurant ! I like it! Also reasonable price and huge portion!! The waiting time of foods is slow, but after all you will feel is very worth waiting! The staff gave us some port ears salad to try and omg is absolutely Incredible!!!! You gotta try this restaurant!! Next time I will absolutely try their King prawn!!
