Finally able to visit this relatively new Kosher restaurant in Hendon. They were very busy for a Monday, highly recommend booking in advance to avoid dissapointment. Food was excellent, highly recommend the sweet and spicy fries and any of the burgers. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilets very clean too. Check out my profile for reviews

Beautifuly decorated. Helpful staff. Great food. Was packed when we arrived, didn't book a table and they managed to accommodate us. Was a bit of a squeeze. But food was great. Ate there a second time and was even more impressed. Their food is exceptional.

Came here this evening for my wife’s work do. The starters were superb the portions were really generous the variety here is really good with great vegetarian options in abundance. The various breads that came with the mains were also amazing everything was so fresh and tasty the main dishes were also great portion sizes , it all came at the same time not in shifts which I really hate especially when there’s lots of guests. The service from everyone was attentive and the beers were lovely and cold and reasonably priced unlike most overpriced pubs these days. Arena is definitely a restaurant I will come back to with friends and family. Seriously good Indian food

It's a traditional pub, with a relaxed ambiance.. and great Indian cuisine.. it has generous starter portions to go with the drinks

What a place! Completely unsuspecting, given that it's just a door next to Hendon Central Underground Station. Even the name on the front doesn't specify that it's a bona fide curry house. The only thing that gives it away is the delicious smells that emanates from the premises. I took my younger brother there to celebrate him completing his degree and we were both absolutely stunned with the service, the atmosphere and of course the food! I had the palak lamb and he had the chicken madras. Each bite was a deep explosion of fragrant flavour. I also bought a butter chicken for my partner at home. Her only complaint was that I didn't buy any rice for her! With all that we bought - 3 mains (one was takeaway), onion bhaji, pilau rice, two naans and about 4 pints - it came to just under 70 quid plus tip (tip not included), which is not bloody bad if you ask me! The waiter that served us was very attentive, keeping our pints filled up and making sure we were enjoying our time there. There is also a pool table and a buzzing sports scene there too, though I did not get too involved in that as I was too taken by the food. Also, don't be deceived, while you do go below street level as you enter, it is not some sort of windowless basement. It actually backs onto the tube platform and you watch as the trains come and go - adding yet more intrigue to the already fantastic atmosphere. There's also an outdoor smoking area, away from the street if you're a smoker. Another thing that deserves a mention is the dips they provide with the popadums. Of course there's a raita, but instead of the lime pickle - which is usually take it or leave it for me - they provide some sort of mild chilli sauce. My goodness! That was something really special. I would try to describe it but it wouldn't express how exciting the sauce is. In fact, the sentiment of that last sentence could be applied to the entire experience! Do not waste time reading my review; go to The Arena and have a bloody great curry!

We had a great dining experience in this pub/restaurant. Having lived locally for a while now, I can say this place does not disappoint when it comes to great Indian food. Our waiter was very kind and helpful as well. Prices are very reasonable too for the quality one gets here!

A friend introduced me to the hummus bar quite a few years ago now and I have literally been addicted to their burgers since! I have dined in at the restaurant in Hendon and Golders Green, the customer service is 5 stars, staff are always so professional and friendly & as for the food I cannot say a single bad word!. I have now ordered 24 times from deliveroo and it's gotten to the point where I walk in and they already know my order. I order on deliveroo, call up as I have some food allergies and they already know just from my voice who it is and what changes needed to be made! I will say the burgers are so good, so juicy and full of flavour and as for the chips they are addictive! Thank you to all the staff and chefs at this lovely restaurant for everything you do and I cannot recommend this restaurant higher!

One of the best meals I've had in years.

We went in for a quick lunch and it exceeded our expectations. The pizza and sauces were very good. The service was good and everyone was friendly.

I came here for dinner with my family and it was amazing! The food was delicious (buttery pasta). The decor was warm and perfect for a cozy meal. The staff were lovely and inviting and I really enjoyed my dinner there. Great options for dietary requirements.

I’ve only ordered through over eats but they never disappoint. The falafel is my go to and one of the best I’ve had in London so far. Highly recommend

First time visiting today with a couple of friends! Went in with a thought of just grabbing a few drinks and food and ended up staying till pretty much closing time! The place has amazing vibes and the service from everyone, but especially from Shiv has been top tier! Will be back for sure!! 100% recommend.

Ordered via UberEats on multiple occasions. Never been let down. Shawarmas have always been very tasty and are a decent size can’t go wrong with a shawarma from Soor Lounge.packed full of meat and flavour. P.S. if you get a chicken shawarma ask for extra pickles.. it goes so well with the chicken.

It was our first time to come Baba Wali Restaurant, that was a great experience. Great hospitality, Service and delicious Afghani foods. We chose Chapli kebab, Qabuli Palaow and soup. All foods were delicious and special thanks from your great service.

Love this place! Food is so authentic and really delicious, at reasonable prices. I love that it’s not too busy and everything is made fresh and delicious. Definitely one of my favourite Afghan places to dine at, I think the Mantu and Qabuli Pilau is a must!

When in London, we cannot miss to visit Beit el Zaytoun, a favourite place of ours. From the mint tea to the za’atar manaeesh, you will taste the gorgeous flavours of Lebanon and enjoy a fantastic, relaxing atmosphere at any time. Their shisha is superb and the service always impeccable. Shukran ketir and ma salama, see you next time ♥️

I have wanted to visit since February and finally made the trip today and so pleased that I did! What a gem of a restaurant! Definitely now up there in my list of favourites. The setting is beautiful by the canal, the decor is lovely, the service was great and welcoming, and the food and drink was perfection (I'm half Lebanese and I don't think I've had such good Lebanese food in London since childhood!) And bonus - there is free parking next to the restaurant on a Sunday. I will most definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

Great speedy service and, filling food. Me and my friend ordered the shish taouk and shared some hummus and tabbouleh and the food was very fresh and flavourful. The outside seating area by the canal was decorating beautiful, in fact it didn’t even feel like we were in London 😆 Will definitely be back soon

my friend celebrated her wedding there. There was a new family of a Ukrainian and a British man created there on 12/10/2024. It was so warm, a lot of love, all the loved ones gathered together in this place. Therefore, this place will be associated with happiness❤️🫶. And the food was very tasty, large portions. I Love this place! Always welcomed by many lovely hosts Vivian &Georgi and Raven❤️, So warm and friendly. my husbandand and I have come here many times, specially in Summer sunny days. they have the best burger and fries and the coffee is excellent! Really recommended.

Vivian was so lovely, and went above & beyond to make us and our baby girl feel welcome! The full English was tasty & good value. We look forward to returning!

Held a 1st birthday party at the venue and both Alex and Shannon were great hosts in accommodating our requests and provided us options on the platter menu. They went out of their way to make this a special birthday for my baby girl. Food was delicious and very well presented. Drinks were also recommended and went down well. Our guests were very happy and so were we. We will definitely be returning to the lovely Beaufort. Thank you both very much.

My partner and I had been coming here for the last two years. Always nice experience. Good quality food with reasonable price. It is also a relaxed environment. We were here last for a quick bite Friday dinner last week. The young lady who helps to serve did not give our bread in addition to our rice and chicken dish. We have always ordered the same and always given the bread. I forgot about it but my partner mentioned it to me that we missed one item. Does this young lady know what she is doing? She probably needs retraining. Apart from that experience the rest of tge food was good as usual. Thank you
