Our waiter was brilliant, he was so attentive, to the point that he didn't want us to pour our own tea, he was continually on hand to do so for us. Unfortunately, the lady, who I assume to be the m'aitre d' was not so friendly or happy, it felt as though we had interrupted her in some way. She actually took us halfway to our table and then just pointed and grunted in the general direction! The afternoon tea was good, the chicken and steak sandwiches were standout. 4 scones each and a selection of 5 sweets, although the earl grey and blackberry dome was the star of the show, for sure. Reasonably priced at £48 per person or £65 with champagne, although if booked on ' The Fork' there's currently an offer for £40 including sparkling rose but the staff had no idea how to apply this offer so there was a bit of a kerfuffle with the bill at the end and we were overcharged by around £70. But it was all sorted in the end and we left happy. The decor inside is fabulous, with very high ceilings and interesting chandeliers, lots of artwork on the walls, large mirrors and bright coral paint. Large comfy chairs and cushions at low tables have a relaxed and enjoyable feel.

The Coral Room’s The Devil Wears Prada themed afternoon tea was a delightful experience. The artistic interiors created a calm, peaceful ambience. The sandwiches were excellent, but the scones and madeleines were truly outstanding! The cakes were also lovely, with the cheesecake being a personal favourite. The service was impeccable, making it a must try for a refined, memorable treat.

Lovely service, didn't have to wait long. Small menu, but the portions are big. Shared two desserts with my friends, The molten lava chocolate cake was to die for, and the pain perdu was a bit too sweet for my liking! Would go again!

Swiss butter is great. Queued up for an hour and a half on Saturday night around 19:30. Food took around 10 minutes to arrive and was good. Wasn’t hot but still fresh. Food itself tasted great. Butter sauce is well buttery and has a great tang to it. The meal is very filling. The lava cake desert is a must try it truly is very good. Glass bottled soft drinks are 3.50 each which is quite steep for 300ml. I’d advise you BOYD. We also asked for some tap water but only on the 3rd ask we got it which was odd. Our server taking the food was a bit quick but still good. Overall it’s a good thing to experience once. The price is great imo. But nothing something that warrants a repeat experience

A little nice old pub. A small but nice variety of beers on tap, including cask beers. Friendly service, typical prices for tourists area. Indoor and outdoor seating.

The Museum Tavern was very busy, which is always a good start. We soon found a table and perused the menu. The menu had something for everyone. With our food and drink choices complete, I went to the bar to place the order. The order was dealt with very quickly. It seemed the barman was very familiar with his menu. Drinks were soon prepared and back on our table. The pub has a nice atmosphere and a decor which reflects how pubs used to be 40 years ago. Minus the food of course. Our food order came in an acceptable time. The food was very hot and extremely tasty. Using the rest room is a bit of a trail. Down the stairs to the depths of the building. The bill for our food and drinks were very much on a par with other outlets in the area. All in all a pleasant experience.

Cozy. Chill. Historic. Price is very reasonable being right across the street from the British Museum. Food was really good. Not the best but very good. Fish and chips was definitely worth the price. We just traveled in from the US needing devices charge and Chandni was so very helpful and understanding all while taking care of all the other tables.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch. Expected the place to be really busy but it wasn't. The table was ready when arrived. It took a while to get the order taken as the staff seemed busy, but they were helpful. The food was nice and a fair price. I have had better so I would give this 4 stars out of 5. Also had a Bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. A little pricey at £30 but tasty

The lunch deal was absolutely a great deal. The food was good but the pork rice was a bit dry, could be better if it’s more juicy.

The service here was amazing, and the food served is great. Everything comes out quickly and is tasty. There is a decent selection of vegetarian options. Bonus - they offer student discount! However, keep in mind that it was really noisy and the tables are shared, so maybe not great for dates or long dinners.

We were exceptionally pleased with our meal. I ordered the King chili Prawns with a side of Jasmine rice. The spice and flavor levels were great.The vegetables were crispy and fresh with prawns cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the Crispy duck noodles and did nothing but rave about them while consuming every available bite. The atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable yet stylish. There is a private dining space downstairs that would be perfect for a family or work event.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was quick and efficient, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. We especially loved the chicken con funghi and the salmon – both were cooked perfectly. The pizza had an authentic Italian taste, which we really appreciated, and there was a great variety of drinks to choose from. We walked to the restaurant, so we’re not sure about parking availability. However, we noticed there aren’t many menu options for kids. Portions are adult-sized, and younger children are charged at adult rates, so it may be less suitable for families with very young children. Overall, though, it's a fantastic dining experience, and we recommend them.

Firstly, I want to start off by saying that the food was absolutely delicious. The food came after about 20 minutes. The staff were polite. The salad came last, which was surprising, but after eating, we realized it was because of the freshly made croutons. Overall, I really recommend this place if you have the money for it.

Perfect location for food before a show. We turned up without making a reservation and a seat was found for us. The service was prompt and the food was amazing the portion size was great. We were served fast but didn't feel rushed to leave. Would recommend to everyone one

Came in for a quick lunch!! Great food, kind staff and very friendly. Definitely consider coming here! Atmosphere was lovely as well. They serve bread with hummus and olives at the start.

Amazing atmosphere with incredible service (ask for Fatih). Our reservation fell through and we ended up here which was a blessing - the flavours and freshness of the food are indescribable. I would 10/10 recommend for everyone to try.

Exceptional performance — both regarding service and the taste as quality of the food. The chicken was juicy and melted right off. Spices and vegetables used for the chicken sote were extremely well seasoned and cooked— you could taste that they did not overcook it at all and managed the perfect balance. Each vegetable was perfectly cooked and kept it’s original flavor. In combination with the used herbs and sauce it was an Overall wowing experience!

Delicious food, great service and very hospitable. Would definitely come here again. Personally I’m always on the lookout for great Turkish food and this place did NOT disappoint. Their Turkish food is authentic, tasty, and they were prompt and attentive. 5 starts all the way! I ordered the Adana kebab.

Fantastic Sunday roast. Turkey was moist and flavourful. Mushroom and sweet potato wellington was also very tasty and balanced. All the trimmings were great, especially the creamed corn. The waitress was extremely attentive and even managed to get the kitchen to prepare the food for us despite it usually being first come first serve. The food took a little long to come (because of it being prepped fresh) but because of the wait, we had some complimentary items. Really beautiful setting too! Great place to have a meal

Fantastic spacious restaurant. Great choice for large groups with both indoor and outdoor seating. We had food sensitivities at our table and they were quite accommodating. The food was simple and well prepared.

If you visit Bloomsbury you need to try this beautiful place. The staff are amazing the first night Lea looked after us. We initially just went out for drinks but ended up eating there two nights in a row. The place itself is gorgeous and cosy. The food was lovely we had the rum battered fish and chips and was really the best fish we’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend and be back at some point.
