Mayow Veterinary Clinic is amazing, they were kind and professional with my cat, saw him quickly and resolved his problem and my anxiety about him. I’m so glad Aslan has them as his lovely vet practice they are brilliant.

Mayow practice was recommended on my local Greyhound group and I registered very easily and quickly. My hound has been very poorly and was treated by another practice as I was out of London. I felt very reassured during our consultation with Alice that she knew what Lenny needed immediately and how this could be achieved. She literally had him eating out of her hand and he had eaten very little in the preceding days so that was a wonderful thing to witness. He is not out of the woods but hopefully on the road to recovery. The staff definitely have a soft spot for greyhounds!

We had the best experience today at Mayow Veterinary surgery. Our greyhound ripped her dew claw on a walk and they saw us immediately. The vet, Alex was fantastic. He was incredibly kind and gave her the best care. He also gave us a lesson in how to get a fussy dog to take a pill! The nurse, Kate was also great as were the friendly and very welcoming receptionists, Toni and Vanessa. All round a great experience and we were so grateful to get the claw removed and the paw bandaged so quickly. Thank you!

I’ve registered all my fur babies at Medivet in Greenwich and wouldn’t hesitate to register any future babies there. I’ve recommended it to friends and family who always tell me how happy they are with the care and expertise they receive. Everything is easy, booking appointments, seeking advice, repeat prescriptions. The staff are always friendly and patient. They treat my cats and myself respectfully and always make us feel special. I have been with Medivet (other branch) for a long time and recently switched to Medivet Greenwich and my experience here has been very positive so far for my senior rabbit and young cat. The communication is clear in terms of invoice breakdown, prices estimation, recommendations, expert referrals. These are always sent via both email and SMS (and hard copy if needed) so a lot of the processes are very quick and smooth. For pet parents that are worried and frustrated when their fur babies got sick, I think it is a great relief to be able to drop a call and ask for general advice once you are registered. We have came in for emergencies check-up and that was organised super swiftly. You do have to pay for the emergency check-up, however, but the pricing is good giving that we got a slot schedule within the same day! The doctors are always happy to provide extra advice, small chat in between that helps took the seriousness or anxieties away when my cat or rabbit have to go in for any health check-up of problems. The front desk staffs are very professional and kind hearted. They are quick and clear in communication and very understandable if we arrive late or has to re-schedule last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. They also offer various tips and very knowledgeable with insurance/invoice/payments... this saved us tons of time.

I called 25/7/24 and spoke to Marline who was reassuring, informative and most professional. My appointment was then booked for later that day which was brilliant as I felt my dog was poorly. The Vet we saw, Lyanne was calm and charming, thorough and super professional. Lots of good advice given and appreciated. The waiting room has treats, water etc. and staff welcoming. Thank you Medivet Greenwich.

Can't recommend enough. My rabbit had an abscess and needed surgery, unfortunately, they couldn't remove it all and a month later her leg needed to be amputated. As my rabbit was feisty I couldn't do the post-surgery care by myself and they boarded her and took amazing care of her and let her husbun stay with her for emotional support for free. I am devastated that I moved out and need to change vets as I doubt I will find someone as gentle and professional for my fur babies.

Really thorough veterinary examination for my sick ferret. The vet is clearly an expert in exotic species and they go all out to do the best for your pet. Where most vets would just offer antibiotics for a chest infection, Matthew offered lots of diagnostic tests to rule out something more serious and even did some dental work while the ferret was unconscious anyway. If you don't have insurance and just want your pet to be treated asap for a reasonable cost, this is not the vet for you as it's really expensive. However if you want human-level healthcare for an exotic pet then 100% this is the place.

Bearded Dragon Sif - who is one of my Creature Companions at only 3+ years in age, did very much die of exhaustion from drowning recently, I did all that I could in reviving her to a conscience state and felt very sad that she was dying... I called CJ Hall Vets team - they were the only hope that Sif had for any immediate examination, and I will always appreciate to that end the endeavours that each and every one of them put effort into, to ensuring that not only did the Human Companion grow happy with the outstanding professional medical services delivered - BUT that the Creature Companion was put first, and I trust CJ Hall Vets for this very said reason. Again and again - thanks plenty CJ Hall Vets, you guys are AWESOME and you all ROCK too ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Sif and Jermaine xxx

I don’t often leave reviews but I felt compelled to do in this situation. My dog has had a plethora of issues over the past 9 months, which has resulted in various tests, trying new meds, diets etc. It was truly a horrible experience to endure. The entire staff, and most notably, the always upbeat and incredibly intelligent Dr Nina Bolger have been exceptional in the care and support provided to get Archie back to normal and putting my mind at ease along the way. Thank you all!

I've been going to this clinic with my cat Ofelia since I moved to London 4 years ago. By far, this is the best veterinaries I have come across. Recently my little one was taken in for surgery. The planning, the follow up, the heartfelt care, all if it splendid. I needed some extra information beforehand and asked to talk to the staff and it was granted. And on the day, the pre-surgery chat with the nurse was so good. The day after, both the veterinary herself and the nurse called, both checking in with medical check list and with real care. These professionals are in it because their hearts are in it. Cannot recommend the clinic highly enough. So glad Ofelia can keep coming back to the Highgate Clinic.

My nearly 3 year old, anxious Maltese has been going to Highgate Veterinary Clinic since he was a puppy. I cannot recommend Dr Jennie, Dr Beccy, and the rest of the team enough. Their patience, willingness to be accommodating, and their high standard of care are exemplary. When an anxious dog pulls you to get inside the vet office, it is a true sign that they are doing everything right!

This isn’t our usual vet - which is 150 miles away - but am now registered for when we are in London with our Tibetan, Ted. I am extremely glad we found such an excellent practice. Our 12 year old dog became ill suddenly and it was very worrying. Everyone I interacted with on the phone and at the practice was lovely & Jill, the vet was thorough and very reassuring. Thank you.

I have come on here to leave a review after seeing some absolutely awful things said! My dog mason suddenly got very ill, he was only 3 and a half years old, and barrier vets looker after him start to finish. Throughout the 3 years we had our normal check ups, and regular flea and worming treatment. Then sadly july this year 2024 mason ate something he shouldn’t of and become very poorly very quickly.barrier vets was kind and loving towards us and our Mason. And after going for an Op mason suddenly got very sick and we couldnt save him, i couldnt be there with him while he was put to sleep, and one of the lovely receptionist held my boy while he left us. And i could not be any more thankful to them. Only one niggle i had. Was after mason passed 1 hour later i received an email saying “good day” And asked us to settle the bill. This to me was alittle un called for and it could have been worded differently to take our feelings into account. But we received a beautiful card from the clinic to say so sorry for your loss. And cant recommend these people enough. Thank you for everything you have done. And thank you for holding my boy while he left us to continue his journey over the rainbow bridge. 🌈

I can't fault this vet practice. It's always been very easy to get a quick appointment, the vet was thorough and the medication prescribed was amazing in helping my elderly dog Rubi with her arthritis. The vet called back as the receptionist said he would when I needed another prescription and again was very helpful. The male receptionist was also very cheerful and polite. The cost was reasonable and I will continue to use them

I cannot fault the superstars that work at this practice. They gave our Chihuahua Loki the highest level of care. Our vet in particular was so gentle and always supportive, arming us with all the information for us to make informed decisions when Loki lost his sight suddenly 7 months ago. You can learn through education but a kind heart and gentle bedside manner cannot be taught - we appreciated her kindness so much. Sadly we had to say cheerio to Loki yesterday and I cannot thank all the staff enough for making what was the hardest day for us so peaceful and perfect for our boy. We miss him terribly but take solace at the fact he had the best care from you all. Thank you for everything x

I was able to get an appointment at short notice. The vet didn't sugar-coat anything and told me exactly how concerned she was. She explained everything clearly, I ended up needing to leave my cat at the Epping branch for more tests and a transfusion over the next few days. They kept me fully informed on her status throughout all those days and answered all my questions. Really great communication meant that I wasn't left constantly worrying

Yes I have read many one star review here today. I believe that was the past. Understand the clinic got refurbished recently and reopened in May 2024. Today I walked in to a nice and clean clinic for my 1st time. Being a new client, my cat gets a free health check which was brilliant! My cat visited to get microchipped as required by law now. The front desk staff is friendly. The vet is very patience and gentle with my cat. I gave a 5 star for this. Highly recommended 👌 Thank you for everything. There is free parking for shoppers around the area just so anyone needs to know.

The staff at Vets4Pets Charlton have always been amazing with my dog, Jareth. They all know him so well and I never have any doubt that they really do care about him. The care he’s received throughout his hip dysplasia diagnosis and beyond has been wonderful. They’ve been there for him - and me - every step of the way and I know I can always trust them to give him the best possible treatment - and with lots of love too.

Vets4Pets in Charlton are the best ever - and I've always had cats, so that's decades of experience. Open 7 days a week (you can guarantee your pet will need an urgent appointment at the weekend ...). Lots of staff, great receptionist. Good quiet space to sit while waiting. I have 2 new kittens - the vet could not have been kinder, gentler + was 100% professional.
