Chose this vet after seeing the Google reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Alan was lovely with our puppy for her first vet visit and spent double the appointment slot to provide information and answer our questions. Puppy left more relaxed than when we arrived. Really happy I chose this vet, even though it isn’t the closest one to me.

Brilliant vets! Have been with them for many years and they are highly skilled. I always recommend them. Dom, Alan and Gav ( as well as Ash in the past) are such good and caring Vets. You cannot get any more kind and knowledgeable Vets. The surgery works so well as the nurses there are so fab too, Kim and Mia are just a few of the lovely ones working there always trying to find appointments for you, keeping you calm and so supportive . I had all my dogs spayed there and some other procedures done at this great Vet.( Toggles just a few days ago) not only I know the OP is done by the best (Dom) but also the aftercare is amazing, fast callback after the OP, clear instructions. You always get written advice and a call back if all is ok. You will always be reminded via text when the next appointment is. Just a very perfect setting with amazing Vets. Most of all I love that all my dogs love the Vets. I love seeing how they give them not only the utmost medical care but also the cuddles and love .Thank you to all of you, Dom for being such a great Vet, and also Alan for helping us by going the extra mile when we were in desperate need for help with travel. I have been to quite a few different veterinary surgeries due to moving houses. This one is honestly the best by far! I am so pleased with how everyone dealt with my extremely anxious 19 year old Chihuahua. I was also very anxious as she was due to undergo an op. The vet Alan was very informative, very caring and certainly very knowledgeable. He tailored everything from start to finish to help ease my anxiety and make sure that the op was carried out with endless precautions and great care. All the nurses and the reception staff at this place are extremely understanding, caring and always provide excellent customer service. Highly recommended. My Chico is already recovering and seems very happy. ❤️

After my dog pinched and swallowed the plastic netting from a joint of beef my regular vet couldn’t fit him in. Blackheath vets came to the rescue and saw him immediately. The kind staff helped him to be sick and he soon brought it back much to my relief. I really recommend this vet practice. Lovely friendly can-do staff and vets

Short read: Giuseppe and the medivet team saved our very old dog’s life in a medical emergency with no prior appointment, in the most professional, empathetic and ethical way possible. We’re so grateful. Long read: First thing in the morning I walked in with a very very sick 13.5 year old dog and no appointment. Thankfully there was a cancellation within 10 minutes of us arriving. Giuseppe was so thorough. He said our dog was presenting with clinical signs of possible pyometra. She wasn’t eating, walking, she had a fever and she was in tact. He considered absolutely everything in addition. Our dog had mammary tumours, another large lump on her abdomen, a collapsed trachea, and had been diagnosed with kidney disease earlier in the year. Surgery was the only viable option but also posed a big risk at her age. After finishing the rest of his consultations our dog was scanned and xrayed. The X-ray ruled out further internal tumours but the scan confirmed pyometra. Giuseppe said if we wanted to operate he could do it right away, or we could give antibiotics and wait until tomorrow so we had a little time to think about it. He did everything possible to bring the cost down, including using blood results from a vet we had seen the day before and not repeating them. I was happy for him to repeat them if needed but he insisted. We decided to go ahead immediately, this was a difficult decision. I knew this could be the last time we saw our dog alive but waiting until the next day didn’t make sense knowing how much she was in pain. Giuseppe also said he would try to take off the larger lump on our dog if he had enough skin. By the evening the surgery had been successful, and the good news was the larger lump was a hernia and not cancer. We went in for the final appointment of the evening at 6:45, she was recovering, albeit slowly, but we decided to keep her in overnight at Camberwell. Giuseppe gave us so much time to make the decision, leaving me alone with her to see how she was, he gave me chance to try to stimulate and walk her. The next day he visited her first thing at Camberwell before his consultations at Southwark, calling me in the morning for an update. We kept her in until the afternoon, and by then she was vibrant again. Every single member of the team was kind, reassuring, respectful and professional throughout. You could sense the relief in the room when I collected her. She still has a lot of recovering to do, but she’s already trying to jump around and looking for cuddles and tummy rubs again. Incredible vet - first pet so was a little nervous but the people at Medivet are great! We’ve had Jasper who’s very friendly and insightful, not to mention patient with our pup, so would fully recommend him, but we’ve also seen other vets here and they’ve been equally brilliant! The ladies at reception are great too, always happy to fit us in last minute and v helpful in sending invoices over to our insurance company for us - a 5* service throughout. Would recommend travelling just for your pet to be seen here

Have been coming here with my two rescue cats for almost two years now, and I have nothing but kind words for the team. Very recently my girl had to spend the day there for some scans and investigations, and the vet called me regularly to provide updates and discuss results/options. I was very anxious but the regular updates made me feel more at ease. Would recommend to anyone 🐱❤️

We have two incredibly nervous rescue Tuxedo sisters and this clinic is just the most amazing place. We were recommended here by a very dear friend and we’re eternally grateful. We have seen many of the different members of staff, veterinary surgeons, nurses, feline dental specialists and even a member of staff with expertise in calming very anxious cats. Every visit has been calm and reassuring and there is such a wealth of knowledge and experience there. We’ve tried all sorts of things in the past to stop the cats panicking but until our consultations with the London Cat Clinic nothing ever worked. One of the veterinary surgeons prescribed medication which worked perfectly, no panting, no vomiting, just amazing. Wonderful clinic!

I’ve had an incredible experience with Dr. Jeremy at the London Cat Clinic. From the moment we walked in, he gave us the warmest welcome, immediately making me feel comfortable and reassured. When he interacted with my cat, it was so clear to see his genuine love for cats. The way he handled and cared for my cat showed how deeply he cares about each of his patients like they are his own. Dr. Jeremy is not only exceptionally skilled but also incredibly kind, guiding me through each step and easing any worries I had. I truly feel like my cats are in the best possible hands, and I’m so grateful for his dedication. We’ve been very happy with the service and advice we’ve received at Mayow Vet Surgery. Always a friendly welcome and the veterinarians we have seen have been really caring and knowledgeable. We joined the VIP Health Plan which has been really helpful too. My pup ate something off the ground whilst we were away in the UK, I called Mayow Vets who were very calm and helpful to point us to our nearest surgery that was part of the DNA Vetcare Group where we were able to been seen so quickly. Would definitely recommend!

Mayow Veterinary Clinic is amazing, they were kind and professional with my cat, saw him quickly and resolved his problem and my anxiety about him. I’m so glad Aslan has them as his lovely vet practice they are brilliant.

Mayow practice was recommended on my local Greyhound group and I registered very easily and quickly. My hound has been very poorly and was treated by another practice as I was out of London. I felt very reassured during our consultation with Alice that she knew what Lenny needed immediately and how this could be achieved. She literally had him eating out of her hand and he had eaten very little in the preceding days so that was a wonderful thing to witness. He is not out of the woods but hopefully on the road to recovery. The staff definitely have a soft spot for greyhounds!

We had the best experience today at Mayow Veterinary surgery. Our greyhound ripped her dew claw on a walk and they saw us immediately. The vet, Alex was fantastic. He was incredibly kind and gave her the best care. He also gave us a lesson in how to get a fussy dog to take a pill! The nurse, Kate was also great as were the friendly and very welcoming receptionists, Toni and Vanessa. All round a great experience and we were so grateful to get the claw removed and the paw bandaged so quickly. Thank you!

Always a pleasant experience taking my cat to The Animal Clinic. All the staff are friendly and extremely helpful and the veterinarians take good care of my boy every time. Would recommend to anyone to register their pet there

This isn’t our usual vet - which is 150 miles away - but am now registered for when we are in London with our Tibetan, Ted. I am extremely glad we found such an excellent practice. Our 12 year old dog became ill suddenly and it was very worrying. Everyone I interacted with on the phone and at the practice was lovely & Jill, the vet was thorough and very reassuring. Thank you.

This morning my dog had some blood in his urine and when I called the Elizabeth street veterinary clinic, they were very helpful and found an appointment for me very quickly. When I came in, everyone was absolutely lovely and nice. The vet I met with took time to understand what was going on, asking a lot of questions and not jumping into conclusions. She took some time to reassure me and explain the next steps in order for my dog to receive the proper care. Thank you so so much! I am very grateful!

I had to find vet in emergency. Elizabeth st were great. The vet I saw was kind and caring and did a great job. Prices were really reasonable compared to other emergency vet’s. I would recommend this practice. Only one negative point. They took ages to fill in my simple insurance form over 5 weeks. Way too long . And although promised call backs I never got them. This needs addressing.

Have been with the practice for 4 years. Nara, our Shiba Inu, has been looked after really well through joint issues, infections, allergy diagnosis, vaccinations & Animal Health Check Certificates. The team have been thorough, helpful and personable. There is always useful advice made available and it is explained in a simple way (for example the animal health check certificate process was well explained in person and followed up over email with the courier for our dog when travelling to Spain) It has always been straightforward to access medical records and make insurance claims. We have been very satisfied with our experience at the vets. There's a handy shop inside too should you need anything from hypoallergenic food, to toys and puppy training gear. Honestly I came across this vet today on a Saturday afternoon as an emergency as my 18 year old cat was not well at all. I previously took him to Bluecross Victoria & they were no good and was telling me I had to leave my cat overnight for scan and that he might not make it the night. I called this place and they said they were able to do a scan straight away after a vet examined him. They then discussed with us that my cat was very weak and had too many health issues and me and my sisters just decided to put him out of his missery. This vet honestly I will sing its praise out loud I’m so grateful I came across you lovely people and so happy that my baby was able to have peaceful sleep and can finally put to rest. Thankyou guys so much we really appreciate you !!!!!!
