Went for the first time yesterday with my mum, absolutely stellar experience! Was well looked after by staff and nothing I asked for was too much for them, they were more than happy to help and the food was so delicious, can’t wait to work my way down the menu! Thank you once again ❤️
Thank you to Mathew’s Kitchen, What a fantastic restaurant! Starting with 5* Shellfish soup, smooth and full of flavour, special starter of razor clams, and tiger prawns, followed by a speical wild seabass sharing for two and a doversole. Honestly a MASTERCLASS! Can’t wait to visit again.
The champagne and desserts were of exceptional quality, however, the food was rather mediocre. The oysters contained numerous shell fragments, and the octopus was excessively oily, making it unpalatable. The oysters were clearly not cleaned properly. While I would recommend this restaurant, I would suggest trying different menu items.
Wow! What an incredible experience we had at Matthew’s kitchen today. Every dish was absolutely delicious… the best octopus I’ve ever eaten, fresh whole seabass, mixed grill. Anna and Matthew were fantastic at looking after us - nothing was too much trouble! Thank you. We will definitely be back.
