Tell you what, folks. This place is bloody lovely. You are first greeted with a spacious outdoor smoking area with multiple benches and ash trays. This leads into the general area when my mates and I sat down for probably the best spoons food ever. We all love spoons food, but this food was BUSSIN!!! We came about midday and it was super quiet. Folks, I’d recommend the brunch: English breakfast for girls like me that can’t eat a lot. The staff were also very lovely and the toilets were in tip top shape.

My first visit to any weatherspoon. The chicken wings are surprisingly good, crunchy and juicy. The pizza is decent. Staff are friendly.

Bottom line: a great chain pub. Stopped in for breakfast, so a weekday at 10:00, and it was not too crowded. Easily found a table and ordered at the bar. The bartender was friendly and efficient and the food arrived shortly. I had the full English which was plentiful and good tasting. The sausages are exactly what you would want, the eggs cooked well, the hash browns crispy, and of course the beans, mushroom, toast and ham as an accompaniment. All was very reasonably priced. My companion had the fruit and yogurt (again with a generous portion) and toast. We both had coffee which was self service (and free refill) from a machine that allowed you to choose latte, espresso, black, and a number of other preparations. All in, the total came to about £13, which I thought was very reasonable given the quality and quantity. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

A nice front garden soaking up the atmosphere and watching the local community. I had nachos and a very good American pale ale for less than £10. Great prices for London where you can expect to pay a tenner for nachos and £6 per pint.

I had a great time at Wetherspoons in Surrey Quays. The food was tasty, affordable, and served quickly. There’s a good selection of drinks, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the place was clean and well-kept. Definitely a great spot for a casual meal or drinks with friends!
