I come from Central America and I tried the Mexican menu at Taco Hut. I was pleasantly satisfied with everything I tried! The beef was extraordinary, the tacos chosen were fantastic, all fresh and flavorful. We also had the nachos, and everything was delicious! The pico de gallo was fresh and tasty and reminded me of the flavors of my country. The cocktails were fantastic, especially the mango daiquiri. I couldn't be happier with my choice!
I highly recommend this venue for both visits and events. The location is pristine and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, going above and beyond to enhance our experience. The drinks were perfect and the food was delicious, all served with impressive efficiency. Special thanks to our host, Anna, and our bartender, Zu, who were both exceptionally attentive and welcoming, ensuring all our needs were met and that we had the perfect night.
I just want to say thank you sooo much to you and your team for your help and support with my birthday celebrations! I had an absolutely fabulous time! It was definitely a day to remember and made all the more memorable for the Lockdown Room team. Everything was perfect! Mark and the others who worked yesterday were superb and everyone commented on how lovely the venue and staff were. I can’t recommend enough for others to hold events there or even just pop in for an evening.
Celebrated our engagement party in this amazing venue, and honestly had the bestest night!!! Anna, the manager, was so easy to communicate with and made it so easy for us to organise anything we wanted to do. Our host Saffyia was incredible and sooooo accommodating too and just a lovely person overall, and so caring. Maria(sorry if I spelt your name wrong) was also just so nice and made sure to check on us if we needed anything. There were a few other amazing bartenders that I unfortunately don’t know the name of but you guys were amazing! Oh and food and drinks were great! Loved the Mexican menu, the nachos were top notch. There’s so many options on drinks and the bartenders would easily recommend you something to your taste. The venue itself had a rustic vibe and a lovely atmosphere with some lights, AND A FREAKING DISCO BALL 🪩🕺! Thank you for such a blast!
I was just killing time in Canning Town and decided to order lunch in this vibey little bar. My expectations of the food in a place not catering to a lunchtime crowd were low. However, the reasonably priced quinoa salad I ordered was delicious and presented beautifully. The bar also has fresh lime juice for my soda water. A real win win for me
