Love coming here with my partner, my favourite pub in Crouch End by far! Love the chocolate brownie for dessert and I am always served by Colette with a big smile and warm conversation which makes for a lovely evening - definitely an amazing addition to the fox team!! Our puppy also loves it here!
My family and I went for a Sunday roast today & after reading previous reviews I was a little dubious, however it was delicious! The portions were plentiful. (I chose the chicken, whilst others had beef). All the flavours were scrumptious! (Especially both the cabbage on the serving and red cabbage on the side), So much so I asked for a container to take the remains home with me! The only reason I slightly marked down was the cauliflower cheese, which wasn’t cheesy or saucy at all & although a lot of staff on service it was hard to get their attention - however once did they were fantastic! Overall I highly recommend and look forward to going for a roast again soon!
Our first visit. A nice atmosphere and good choice of beers; helpful staff. However the food was a little disappointing in that the portions seemed small to us. In an area where, there are plenty of pubs offering substantial plates of food, this seemed strange. We would go back for a drink, but we'll eat elsewhere.
Lovely, reliable gastropub to pop in for lunch. Good beers on tap and prices are very reasonable for the standard of food and the area. Been a couple times and have never been disappointed. The pub itself is very well laid out and extremely comfortable too!
