I thought I would try the pepper steak with rice, it turned out to be best I ever had. Definitely will be visiting more often and will try more from their menu. The food was actually amazing and a big portion, super friendly staff and a great atmosphere very welcoming!

We had a fantastic time here!! I’m going to start with the rum punch because it was perfection in a glass, took me straight back to Jamaica, the right strength and sweetness. I even asked for the recipe which I was told is a family secret. Honestly, bottle it and sell it! On this occasion, I was out with a group of four, three of us ordered the curry goat lunch special and one prefer the curry chickpea lunch special. When I tell you, it was the most succulent, flavourful, melt in your mouth curry goat!! It was delicious, everything was separated on the plate and the portion size was perfect. My friend said the chickpea curry was the best she’s ever had. We also got two side orders of plantain, again cooked to perfection. This restaurant is beautifully decorated, even the toilets make you feel like you’re somewhere special. The ladies who served us, were polite, offering advice on what to go for and why. We spent a long time talking and although they were busy, they never made us feel rushed. Two rum punches for £15 and a lunch meal deal special which included a drink was only £6.50. Absolute bargain, especially given the climate we’re living in. Affordability and still great quality is hard to come by but not for Lavish, they do it so well! Honestly one of the best Caribbean restaurants!! I will most definitely be back! It was a wonderful experience.

I am a balloon decorator and set up a balloon feature here yesterday for my family’s party, the ladies here are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely and the venue is really nice. I was going to somewhere else but popped in The atmosphere is soothing, The decor is not the "typical" cafe setting, it's clean and elegant The service is polite, friendly and welcoming The food was delicious, I was pleasantly surprised.
