I think it needs to be a little more clear that the 2 menus start at different times and that pre ordering is necessary for the African menu. The food was 10/10 nevertheless. The restaurant was quite cold and small. Unfortunately I never remembered to get a picture of my main which was Jellof with meat stew and plantain.

This is a nice addition to Sidcup. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we had to change to a later booking. The food is well presented, tasty and reasonably priced. I expected it to be spicier but I'm not used to Ghanaian food so perhaps this is normal. It's worth noting that the Ghanaian menu is served only at certain times and the soups require you to pre-order. They also didn't rush us out when we sat talking after eating (sorry!)

First time here to try English breakfast after seeing all the good reviews. The food and coffee were definitely good and the atmosphere is also very cozy. Only complain the food arrived appropriately 45 mins after placing order. The coffee was quick and perfect but waiting 45 mins for getting your breakfast plate is bit too much. Most of the English breakfast items are not something very different and cannot be kept ready so didn’t understand the long wait time. But if you don’t mind the delay, this is definitely a good breakfast place and definitely recommended :)

Another delicious meal with my lovely Mum at Coast. We just love coming here, the service is always exceptional and the food is always of the highest standard, fresh, well cooked and nicely presented. You can come here confident that you’re always going to get a feast for the eyes, as well as the tum and you’ll leave full and happy. Mum always has the Avocado bun, which is ideal for those who don’t much care for meat or bread. I had King prawns and chicken, with sweet potato fries instead of normal chips. The chicken was perfect!

Such a great breakfast, the menu has so much range from pancakes, to full English to avocado and salmon on sourdough. Really good portions and presentation, and great prices. All round good experience. Will be coming back :)

Have not been here for years as used to be a regular with my brother. He was over from Spain and thought we would like to visit the old places. Everything was as we remembered. A little Italian oasis. The food was of the same high standard and even the music brought back so many happy memories. Mario is a fantastic chef and still turns out lovely tasteful food at a very reasonable price for both food and drink. Marmot to give it a try. Thankyou for a lovely evening.

Ive lived in footscray for nearly 13 years and I didnt realise we had a Hidden Gem on our doorstep.!! Myself and my husband and son came for my and my husbands birthdays for a slap up meal well Ive got to say the food was Fabulous and Plentiful also the Service was very very good made you feel very welcome and a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend Mario La Stella what a lovely place to go for an beautiful meal and Great Hosts Father Mario and his Daughter. Will definetly go there again 10 out of 10... The last time I went there was yesterday with my wife to eat in and, everyone working in the restaurant were very friendly, helpful and the food is so delicious. Much better than Nandos or other well known restaurants. I think it is the best place I have been to for such a long time. The gentleman at the front counter and the lady who works in the kitchen were all very lovely and friendly. It is a proper family environment. They don't serve alcohol and the all food is halal and very delicious, all the staff are very helpful... You can't find a place like this in London. I guarantee you will enjoy everything in there..

I recently visited The darjeeling restaurant sidcup and Khazana cafe n grill sidcup and had a truly delightful experience. A fantastic little gem on Sidcup High Street! The food is freshly cooked and the prices are very reasonable for the portions provided. Not to mention the wonderful hospitality of the owners and the cleanliness of the environment. They are very accommodating and there's a large range of food items available (even for me and I follow a gluten free diet). Highly recommend to all locals.

I had the most delicious salmon dish today, you could tell everything was fresh and made from scratch. It was one of the nicest fish based dishes I’ve had in a long time and was welcomed in comparison to other competing restaurants which are offering unhealthy alternatives, I’m glad I spent the time to take a look around for somewhere to sit and eat before choosing McDonald’s as a last resort. The owner is really lovely, staff members are lovely. Very peaceful. Parking of course is scarce but a well rounded, well situated restaurant with clean, fresh food.

Excellent takeaway service in current climate... Mixed grill platter is amazing!! ........ Brilliant local restaurant serving up some tasty dishes. Tender and delicious meats . Tried the mixed grill which was perfectly cooked and excellent value for money. Good selection of wines and bottled beers. Restaurant is clean, with nice decor and some seating booths at the rear. Staff friendly, attentive and professional. Fairly priced menu. Parking relatively easy.

The Resturant is clean and the staff is nice. Music and environment too!! Food was amazing as well, it came hot and tasty, portions were ok considering the price. The reasons why I am giving 4 stars: 1) the Turkish tea didn’t taste of Turkish at all, it was more a normal Earl grey with added hot water. 2) how can you not have baklava??? My mum Came from Italy with the desire of eating a nice Turkish meal and baklava at the end but we had no luck! Overall a 4 stars ⭐️ Updating my review - it’s a 5 stars now! They had baklava this time and although there was no Turkish tea the staff was very polite. Portions are huge and the food tastes simply lovely!! I will come back again!

I was looking for a Turkish spot to take my cousin to. We hadn't seen each other in 19 years so it was a special reunion. I chose Hayat and was not disappointed. The food was absolutely mouthwatering - every dish was cooked to perfection. We had some starters and each had the chicken shish which was honestly the juiciest chicken I've ever had. The gentleman who served us was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. Although not in my area, I'd make the trip to come here again for sure. Highly recommend!

I've been here twice now with family, and I must say both times we've had a very lovely experience. The owner is very friendly and warm; she's attentive but not overly so. The decor, music and overall ambience are very authentic and prepare you for the delicious food to come. And as for the food, it's absolutely delightful. I love that they have a good range of vegan dishes and none of them are short on flavour; both times we ordered a selection of mezzes with pitta bread and left feeling very happy, full and satisfied. The lentil soup is lovely and warming too.

An authentic taste from home and im so happy my partner found this gem! The food is incredible, fresh and healthy. The portions are generous and its so well priced. This charming restaurant has been used by my family many times over the years. It's not the cheapest but offers a good selection of quality foods especially fish dishes. On my latest visit for a friends birthday in midweek we was expecting the extra choice of a set menu as seen advertised Tuesday to Thursday on the blackboard outside but sadly on arrival this was not available. When seated a selection of the specials mostly fish dishes are presented on show at the table which is informing and entertaining. I went for the lobster in garlic starter which was amazing but sadly the main dish of the T-bone steak was a bit chewy. Desert was the black forest gateau which was delicious. Will definitely revisit but would probably stick to the fish dishes in the future
