This place is great. For once the supermarkets have done small business (& me) a favour. All the supermarkets seem to be closing their fish counters, so your limited to pre packed old fish! I popped into Hales & More today for 2 sea bass fillets, and was blown away with the selection of fish they had on offer and such friendly service. This will become a weekly stop off point from now on.

We travel from Maidstone to Rainham to buy our fish from Hales and Moore....Fish is superb, fresh , and very tasty...all the staff cannot do enough for you and are friendly but professional..recommend them to everyone I know....

120th Presentation night At hesketh park bowls club 23rd November 24 From enquiring in mongers to ordering on the phone and collecting. They even offered to carry to the car. Proper old fashion service. The feed back from Hesketh park bowls members was so good. And looked good on our buffet table. Thank you Will definitely use again

I’ve been using H & M for a while now. I feel compelled to review them. The freshness of their fish is second to non! …Not to deflect from their ‘old school service’. Unfortunately we don’t get this sort of service from many businesses anymore. Anyone wanting tasteless fish from supermarkets are missing out!!! I emailed an order & instantly got a reply! My fish was then prepared for collection exactly as I’d asked & perfectly packed in a box. So many different fish to choose from when entering the shop. I always buy more than I thought I needed because of the freshness of the fish. Great fresh samphire to accompany too. Thank you H & M 🤩 🙏 😋 🥰 Smoked haddock tonight with fresh home made parsley sauce, samphire, savoy cabbage & mash. Washed down with a lovely Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 😋 Plus griddled salmon steak, new potatoes, salad with South Korean dressing 🤤 Griddled salmon topped with samphire, with asparagus & runner beans, with mustard & Stilton sauce.

Just had a kilo of mussels from Hales and Moore ! Only one broken they were plump and delicious! I have had mussels from elsewhere where I've thrown most away! I can't wait for my oysters Christmas Eve! The fish and seafood from here is fresh and superb. Customer service excellent and if you want to know the best way to cook something they happy to advise. My bank account not happy though !
