What a lovely find !! Gorgeous interior and a few seats outside at the front. Hard to choose what to have for breakfast but I could not have been happier. I chose the Sourdough bread breakfast which made my tastebuds tingle. This consisted of a slice of sourdough bread toasted, topped with a generous serving of smoked salmon and perfectly scrambled eggs accompanied by a zingy side salad sprinkled with pomegranate seeds. I wiped the plate clean.

BEAUTIFUL! The food was delicious, the decor is so beautiful and the staff are lovely… It was all perfect! Cannot rave about this place more! If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend eating here, you will not be disappointed!

Brilliant unpretentious restaurant that delights. The food is amazing, it arrived promptly, the service is good and friendly. The décor is a bit like a french bistro. Value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely exceptional. Each curry had its own unique flavour and the meat was cooked to perfection. Both the chicken and lamb were soft as butter. The ambiance is spot on! Great value for money, can see why it’s at number 8 on the fork apps top 100 in London.

Excellent Sunday afternoon spent here at Pope St. Not been here for a couple of years but its one of the only decent places in New Eltham to grab a drink. Nice establishment with plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. Good selection of wine, beers and lager. Food was available and looked good but we'd already been out for lunch. Staff were excellent here, pleasant, professional and constantly waited our table for more drink orders when desired. Limited parking in the area but located very close to New Eltham station!

Had the loviest father’s day dinner yesterday. Everything was perfect, I went for the beef roast dinner and it was honestly one of the best roast I have ever had out! We also had the honey chicken wings for starter as well as a few other bits and the wings was incredible!!! Nachos also was 10/10! The drinks was perfect & the staff was very kind & attentive too! Loved every course and can’t wait to come back for another roast!!!

The best Sunday lunch i've had in a very long time. Everything was beyond perfect. Chef Anna is passionate about creating the perfect roast. Everything cooked from scratch and with love. Her dessert special was pistachio cheesecake - it was sublime! I will definitely be back very soon. Thank you chef 😍

Lovely food and very good priced. They cater for everyone including vegetarian and vegan. Great service and attention from the staff working there. Would highly recommend for families or just couples. They also have a takeaway side to the restaurant. High quality

When you have a craving for top notch fish and chips then Eltham Grill House is the place to go. So far the best in the area I have tried, the batter on fish is superb, crispy, tasty and not too oily either. Not only do they do great F&Cs, but they're also a grill house serving very delicious grilled fish and meats. The lamb on the combination grill is a must try as it was delicious and very tender. Really good portion sizes and great value for money. The staff are very friendly and efficient and if dining in, the restaurant is a lovely place to be, modern, clean and vibrant. Definitely know one of my favourite local restuarants.

Had a wonderful meal with my family on a cold January Sunday. Was superb. The food was delicious and came out promptly, service was excellent, very friendly and attentive.The restaurant has a quirky family run charm. This is exactly the type of establishment that we should be supporting! The tiramisu was definitely noteworthy. Highly recommend.

We went there for a dinner last night. Have to say that the food was amazing especially Mozzarella and Bruschetta starters. Restaurant was lovely too.

Update.....back open and serving great delicious foods again 😁. Delightful, flavorful and plentiful dishes! All at reasonable prices. My family have dined at the restaurant many times and in the current climate I order a collection to try to support this local restaurant. All dishes were perfectly cooked, packed and piping hot. Would definitely recommend all the dishes we had but the one that i really enjoyed was the Meatball appetizer, really good tangy tomato sauce to compliment 3 perfect meatballs. Calzone mains were massive and i struggled to finish mine, outstanding for only £10.50!! I can't really comment on the staff as only the chef/owner was there but he's polite, professional and attentive. Hopefully this restaurant will be back open fully on the 4th of July so please come out and show your support! Parking is limited and can be tricky.

I just had the most amazing time at the restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious - I couldn't get enough of those tiger prawns and the porn star martini was to die for! And let's not forget about the great prices and excellent service. I'm already counting down the days until I can go back. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

If you’re looking for great food in Eltham this is the place to go, we shared the mixed kebab and it was great. tasty, roasting hot and the meat was juicy and cooked fresh. The chicken wings were a highlight for me I have eaten a whole plate full. The prices are reasonable, the restaurant itself is modern and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and a personal greeting and goodbye from Ozzie was a nice touch. I will be back again soon.

Had our son's birthday lunch here two weeks ago. The restaurant staff were kind and accommodating, even when we had to change our number of guests at the last minute. Nothing was too much for the staff. Everyone was helpful. The sharing platters were delicious. Thank you Cobans

8 of us visited for the first time for dinner last sunday to celebrate my daughters birthday, Olly and his wonderful service made us all feel very welcome and special. I ordered the sharing meat platter board and everything on that board was so impressive! Meat was so tender, mountain full of everything and even my fussy kids wanted to try which is a great surprise! Im not usually a fan of chicken wings but ended up eating almost all of it😅 Thankyou for the grand birthday gesture when you brought out the cake aswell, we all throughly enjoyed our dinner so much, and the cocktails were great! We will be back for sure, thankyou👍🏻

It's one of the best Thai restaurants I've visited in a long time. When I arrived, the place was empty, and for a moment, I thought it might be a bad sign. However, I was wrong. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the decor was ok. I also noticed a lot of riders coming for takeaway orders, indicating they work with delivery partners. The only downside was the price of soft drinks—around £5 for a small glass, which, in my opinion, is very steep. Nevertheless, I will definitely be back.

Been wanting to try this place since I moved to the area, and it didn’t disappoint. The decor is beautiful with Thai culture themed, giving a comfort and authentic look to it. The staff were friendly and attentive, with great service throughout. The foods are authentic with plenty of options. We loved everything we tried, especially papaya salad is on point, the main dishes are on a bit sweet side but still tasted authentic. the desserts, which were absolutely divine! loved the drinks too. Definitely going back to try more dishes.

Amazing local Thai restaurant with super tasty food and great drinks. Really enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls, prawn toast and gaeng kari goong - highly recommend a visit.

Pure excellence, an absolute fantastic experience with the owner making sure everything is running smooth and welcoming guests on each table. Great food beautifully presented, true class that Eltham deserves. Great portion size and very very reasonable pricing.

The waiter named “Wee” received us very well, recommended us a good wine and good starters. He kept the care of our table during the meal, he was super attentive. I loved the food and the atmosphere, I’m sure isn't one of the cheapest in the neighborhood but the quality of the food is worth it!!! Super recommend!

On Saturday evening, we celebrated my father’s birthday without making any reservations, yet we were warmly welcomed. The service was punctual, the cuisine was delectable, and the ambiance was exceptional. The establishment was filled with a captivating blend of Jas music, creating an atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed.

First time visiting this recently opened Italian restaurant in Eltham. Atmosphere was inviting, staff were very friendly and the food was authentic and extremely tasty. Look forward to returning with family, thanks all for an amazing evening.

A friend suggested this place one weekday evening, and we went without a reservation. Despite being busy they managed to squeeze us in and to be honest I wasn't prepared for just how good the food was. I had the lamb shank, which came with large, delicious sides of salad and potatoes (see photo). The shank itself was the best I've had for decades - perfectly spiced, amazing flavour, and it fell off the bone. My friend was just as happy with his doner kebab. Service was friendly, and it wasn't overpriced. Highly recommended.

The food was either a big hit or a miss for me. The homemade taramasalata was so amazing; I would recommend coming here just for that and meat dishes like the lamb shank. It was massive, tasty & tender, along with the doner meat being a great portion and tasty to satisfy big appetites. The service was good with a nice waiter and the atmosphere was dimly lit. However the lamb meat ball from the hot meze was unfortunately overdone and dry I couldn't eat it as it was so tough. I didn't enjoy the taste of the traditional sausage that much, just 2 very thin slices and it was all served on some brown lettuce.... The prices are a little high in my opinion for the area but the main portion sizes make up for it.

Loving the recent refurbishment and more importantly the great sounding and tasting menu. The menu has a good variety of dishes (but not too big) which allows the kitchen to push out great tasting pub and bistro level food. The Korean chicken bites were delicious and I was very happy to see a bit of fusion on their menu. The fish and chips was flavoursome and fresh, definitely a lot better than other pubs in the area. The chicken schnitzel was crispy and cooked well but could have done with perhaps a bit more flavour in the breadcrumb to whack it up a notch. The sticky toffee pudding was the perfect (and filling) end to the meal, a definite winner. The service was great and the staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back to try the Sunday roasts!

Just had a beautiful meal at the Eltham GPO. Everything was delicious and nicely cooked. We couldn't fault anything, whatsoever. Our waitress was lovely. Very attentive. Such a nice evening. Will definitely be returning soon.
