The edge is where I was mentally and emotionally when I decided to just stop and take a moment for myself. I needed sustenance and Park’s Edge is the place that centred me as soon as I came through the beautiful bespoke doors. I was met by ambient lighting, beautiful welcoming decor and very friendly staff! The atmosphere is very welcoming but I had to take away as home was beckoning and my belly was in need of a good meal! Directly opposite Brockwell Park. Food was delicious and well cooked by amazing chef. Rum punch was superb and very very well put together in my sippy cup! The management was very professional and the whole experience was therapeutic for me. Went home and was instantly cheered up by eating and drinking what I can only say was divine interventional dining…Inspired to see another day in this crumbly world - when food is a challenge life can be difficult to navigate but Park’s Edge took me off the edge last night and reminded me just how precious and special life is when we step out, eat out, dine out and treat oneself!!! Thank you….very much for taking the time to cater for me and ensure I was in a safe space to be heard and served! I shall certainly be back when I am in a better mood!

Came here for brunch and really enjoyed the dish — the Caribbean twist on a normal brunch dish. Only wished they had a brunch menu option where you could have two dishes and one drink. Also felt that the Bellinis were a little disappointing, they didn’t have a distinctive flavour to them. Tasted very much of Prosecco,

Celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time! They really went above and beyond to make the night special for us. Thank you to all the staff! Food was delicious and presented very well. Would highly recommend the gorgonzola tart, chicken wings, sea bass and oxtail ravioli. Caramel cheesecake was amazing as well! We enjoyed all our cocktails too. The honey margarita (originally a mocktail but we asked them to add tequila which was *chefs kiss*), spicy martini, and purple rain were 10/10. Service was smooth and friendly. The restaurant had a relaxing atmosphere and pretty decor. Would definitely dine again!

I had the huge pleasure of hosting my 60th birthday event at Parks Edge Bar and Kitchen in Herne Hill on 30/11/24 We are regulars to the restaurant but this was our first time having a private event there. From the outset of liaising with Cece to the end of the evening itself, nothing was too much trouble and everything from the food and the drinks to the ambiance was on point! The amount of work that Cece, Barry and everyone at Parks Edge put in to my birthday event was clear to see in their attentiveness to my party goers and their fine attention to detail. Anyone who is seeking a venue to hire for a private event with fine food, an amazing wine and cocktail collection and everything in between should definitely check out Parks Edge. A+++

The 4 course tasting menu at Heritage Dulwich was exactly the unique dining experience we had hoped for on our first visit to this area. Service was attentive and staff were smiling and gracious. Our food was exceptional, served in a cozy upscale dining room. Even the other patrons were a delight! We hope to return again. Thank you for a special evening 🙏

The cozy decor envelops you in warmth, while the pictures on the walls evoke various sensations.🎸 The floor staff is exceptional, maintaining their smiles throughout the service. They’re attentive, seeking feedback and providing detailed explanations of the dishes.🫂 The sauce in the papdi chaat has a distinctive flavor, and the lamb chops are incredibly tender. The rabbit kebab is cooked delicately and is absolutely fantastic.👌 The three different sauces are simply superb. The prawn dish is a must-try, along with the butter chicken and kashmiri lamb curry, both of which are bursting with flavors.🎉 The Peshawari naan and kheer are utterly mouth-watering.😋 If you haven't visited Heritage Dulwich yet, you're truly missing out on a remarkable experience.😎😎😮

We visited on a weekday to avoid the Friday/Saturday rush. Food is really good. Everything we ordered tasted unique and flavourful, which has become hard to find in curry houses. One of the best we have visited in London, and the tidy menu is a reflection of the focused kitchen. Service was good and friendly. Some things took a long time to arrive. Service charge at 12.50% is not justified in my opinion, as some of the servers did not communicate very clearly. The problem we faced was with the bill, as some of the dishes had different prices on the menu that what was on the bill. We spoke to stuff and one dish was changed to the correct price, but then we found more dishes had the same error. The difference was 0.50-2 pounds per dish.

Heritage has a fantastic blend of traditional flavors with a modern twist, with dishes that are both richly spiced and beautifully presented. Their cocktail menu is a standout, featuring creative drinks infused with Indian spices like cardamom and tamarind, adding a unique and refreshing complement to the meal. Absolutely loved it!

It's definitely more of a trendy place and I understand the vibe there is not for everyone. It's busy whenever we go, but the atmosphere is friendly and it's not too noisy. We've been shown to our table every time within 10/15mn after waiting in the high tables section. The chai latte is delicious and so is the roasted aubergine/ chickpea curry that comes with the thosai. I could have had the dosa by itself because it was very tasty. The maple aubergine on focaccia is not too bad either. I find that the portions are just ok for me but I think for big eaters it might be a bit small. Our waiter last time was a bit distracted so service was a tad slow.

I'd heard of Trinco as a popular lunch spot, but I highly recommend trying it out for dinner. Had a fantastic Friday night here with my family. The food was not only delicious but also excellent value. We particularly loved the aubergine and tempeh curries. The cocktails were top-notch, matching the quality you'd expect from a high-end cocktail bar. The atmosphere was low-key, warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable.

The most amazing food and vibes at this place. We had a taster of everything on the menu and every dish was incredible with both flavours and attention to detail. All the staff were super friendly and attentive. The space has beautiful decor. Can’t wait to come back! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for delicious sir Lankan food, with a really warm atmosphere, also they played really good background music.

We had a really lovely meal here on a hot summers evening. All dishes were really delicious! The menu is broadly Mediterranean food covering quite a wide range. Prices were also reasonable. Well worth a visit and we will be back soon.

Amazing food, each dish is masterfully prepared and the quality and quantities are immaculate! Staff are great, and, can’t wait to return in summer when their garden will be open! Starters: We (shared) the King Prawn and Calamari for starters and were particularly impressed with the king prawns on croutons with sauce and dressing around the dish so as not to overwhelm it. In other words, ‘the sauce is there if you need it’. Mains: Calzone and Seafood Risotto - both members of the clean plate club! Dessert: Full, we resigned ourselves to share the Sticky Toffee pudding (with cream) which was perfect! Not too sweet, not showing signs of intense refrigeration, but fresh, warm and just sumptuous. Cannot wait to return, can’t believe I’ve been living in the area for 4yrs AND only now found my favourite Italian place.

The food was on par with the service: excellent! Great atmosphere, with very friendly and efficient staff. The food was extremely well cooked, served beautifully and for the money spent, we both had our bellies full! I highly recommend this restaurant and I will certainly be back

Arrived with my granddaughter at a busy lunch time during school half-term. Due to to staff shortage that day there was only one waitress, Raffaella, to take orders, serve and clear tables. Despite all this she was very attentive and charming and managed to see that all were taken care of. Even the pizza chef helped by delivering pizzas to the tables. Thank you! We had cheese and tomato pizza with buffalo mozzarella. Delicious.

The food was absolutely delicious, and we received the best service ever from Raffaella! She was amazing, always serving us with a smile. I really enjoyed the experience and appreciate her so much!

My wife and I had our wedding reception here just before Christmas 2024. Andrew, Chris and all the staff could not have been more helpful when it came to planning everything. We had 110 guests for a seated lunch, and every single one of them said the food and service were absolutely outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for a better party venue and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a cosy and atmospheric setting for any type of event.

After visiting a few times for dinner and enjoying the delicious food, we decided to hold our wedding reception at the Lordship in October. The food is always top notch and the staff are really helpful and friendly. The Lordship has a lovely atmosphere and everyone was so helpful when we were planning our big day. We had so many guests contact us after the wedding to say how much they enjoyed the food & the venue. Would highly recommend!

😌 It was the best of times, it was the wor.. 😅 well, let me explain. Clearly giving 4 stars means that I think you should definitely come here but there are caveats! The atmosphere was warm and inviting as were the staff. In fact the staff were great, very friendly! The mains were terrific, I went for steak and chips 🥩🍟 and those with me said the pies were amazing, so all good there too. Now, those who follow my reviews will be aware I love dessert 🍰, it's my favourite part of the meal and unfortunately, regrettably, this is where things went very wrong. The sticky toffee pudding wasn't sticky as such (I had to scoop the toffee from around the sponge and pour it over), the apple in the apple crumble had a weird taste I really can't describe well and the crumble was grainy and not crumbly (or toasted for that matter). It the final issue was the custard. It was simultaneously thin and lumpy. Most of us didn't get through more than two spoons. Had it not been for this, it would be an easy 5 Stars ✨. In summary, go, enjoy the great mains but I'd skip dessert.

Last month we ate at The Palmerston. It was good. Friday night busy vibe and most people downstairs seemed to just come for a drink. I had the fish n chips. They were decent chips, always an important test of any London pub. A chef called in sick so there was only one person in the kitchen. The staff tried their best. A lovely atmosphere and I love that Oddono's is close by for gelato afterwards. 😝

My wife and I visited this pub for our date night. We had a really good time. For food we had fish and chips and rum steak with red wine source. Plus starters to begin (prawn cocktail). The food was delicious and well presented. The atmosphere was good even though it was really busy Saturday evening in the pub. We had a good service from Olga. She made our date night special. She was very helpful in choosing our food and dessert after. She was always available to top up our drinks. We will definitely return here again.

Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for lunch or drinks. I came with a few friends and really enjoyed the food. It was quite busy but the service was still excellent - Jenny served us and was so friendly and helped us out when one of my family needed help with dietary requirements, thanks Jenny for your help.

Have been to the East Dulwich Tavern a couple of times over the past months. Great place that really adds to the neighbourhood! Good selection of local beers and spirits. Usually not a big beer drinker, but we were served by Jenny, who made some great recommendations regarding the beers on tap. Great to see bar staff who know their stuff! Will definetly come back.

Came in the other day for a quick drink and was thoroughly impressed by the service. I was served by a lovely lady named Maria and she was incredibly professional and sweet, also very gorgeous. Will be coming back again soon, hope to see you then Maria x

Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Service was attentive but in no way pushy or intrusive. Initially I thought the pasta portion seemed quite small, but it was packed with seafood and actually more than adequate, especially considering the price. We’ll definitely be returning.

OMG. Sat there with my daughter and my friend and we had lunch,wine and desserts. I’ve not eating such delicious food in a while,and the deserts… is to die for (especially the cheesecake). The service is also great,they look after you ,check on you and make sure you’ve enjoyed fully to what they have to offer. We are already planing when to come back while currently we are still sat on the table and writing this review.

Food was absolutely excellent. I work within the sector and eat at the best street food options to Michelin star restaurants and hectare here was amazing! The portions were small yet it was reasonably priced for the quality of the food. I’ll definitely be back ❤️🙏👌

The restaurant was very busy at around 6pm with the family crowd, we had to wait 20mins for a table, then quiet and a lot of free tables around 7:30pm. We had the goats cheese salad, seafood risotto and seafood linguine. All were fine but I’d try something different next time. They don’t have children’s menu but do the pastas and pizza’s in children’s portions.

Great place, good burgers. I wish the color was a bit mild; I got a headache from the bright red color.

I’ve had this place on delivery a few times, actually once in St Thomas at the birth of our son. Popped in this evening for a meal at Lordship Lane, the dead hippy burger, garlic fries and monkey fingers were levels! Staff were great, dark and cool vibe, kitchen rolls on every table for the messy fingers, old school rap playing in the background! I like this.. The blue cheese sauce is amazing and the deep fried Mac & Cheese was crazy! We will be back soon to have a later night and to try out the cocktail list!
