The perfect spot before heading to a concert! We had the laksa which we’d highly recommend. Atmosphere was really good too and service was great.

My friend and I were searching for a quiet spot to have lunch away from the bustling streets of Camden when we stumbled upon Malay Fellas. We found a nice table by the bar, which had a cozy atmosphere. It seemed like most of the staff were new and still getting the hang of things, which led to a few minor mistakes with our order, but nothing too serious or unexpected—everyone has to start somewhere, right? They were all friendly and smiling, which really made for good service. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Beef Rendang—it was so good that I’m inspired to try making it at home! Overall, Malay Fellas was a great find, and I’d definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area.

Oh my days, this place is an absolute gem. First time here and loved everything. Every mouthful, every bite was authentic and flavors were spot on. All the food was halal which is amazing and meant we could have more of what was on the menu. Ordered a dish for my son and they were happy to adjust the spicing level for him. Much appreciated and he loved it. Really beautiful setting and atmosphere and staff friendly and welcoming. Only suggestion I would make is that maybe the laksa needs a little more chilli or something but it was delicious but just needed a little more kick. The beef rangdang was to die for.
