Thank you so much to the two lovely staff at G K Locksmith who helped my daughter this afternoon. The clasp on her gold chain necklace had been jammed tightly closed and, despite many attempts, we had been unable to prise it open. My daughter has had keys cut at G K in the past, and they’ve always done a great job, so on a whim, we ducked in there to see if they could help with the recalcitrant clasp! The gentleman and lady in the shop couldn't have been nicer and, within minutes, they'd manoeuvred the clasp open. This was a big relief, as my daughter is getting married tomorrow and will be wearing a different necklace! The staff refused to take any payment either - they were such lovely people. I have had two brilliant experiences with this business. Once when we were victims of a burglary and they came quickly to fix our door and add a new lock. Amazing and so understanding and also very reassuring after what was such a scary experience. Secondly, Rob just helped me over the phone- for free- to fix my window which wasn’t closing. The lock on my back door wasn't working and i was leaving the country in two days. I was in a bit of a panic. I sent the firm photos of the doors, locks and hinges. They came round within 2 hours. It took them 45 minutes to repair and it is working better than ever. The guy doing the work was five star pleasant. Only drawback is that it was a little pricey but I did know that in advance

TLDR: Go with London Locks, you won’t regret it. London Locks has a lot of wonderful reviews talking about their; great service, craftsmanship, timeliness to attend jobs, excellent communication skills, accurate quotes and billing, and how they are highly trained and trusted within their profession and members of the Master Locksmiths Association. I agree with all of this and I could write a review detailing how they provided this service for me and more, but what impressed me most about the team was their absolute integrity as a business and commitment to keeping people as safe as possible in their homes. I walked into London Locks to complete what was meant to be a simple errand on my lunch break to get a spare key cut for my front door, after replacing the locks a few months previously with a different locksmith that I found on Google. The team at London Locks took one look at my house keys and knew that the locks on my front door were sub par, and were not the high security and fire safe locks that I had requested to be fitted, and charged a very high price for by a different rouge locksmith. The top lock was a 5 pin rim cylinder, and the bottom lock was a 3 lever deadlock which was only designed for an interior door like a bedroom. Like a lot of people, I had just googled local locksmiths and went with a rouge contractor that seemed reputable and could do the work straight away, and naively paid the price. They knew immediately that I had been scammed by someone who was not skilled at all, known as “49er’s” within the trade for quoting a low initial price, often £49 and dramatically increasing the actual price when they are on the doorstep, breaking the law known as doorstep selling and using a Bait and Switch scam that is unfortunately very common. London Locks gave me quotes for different (actually) high security and fire safe locks along with a door chain, and came to fit a Finfort dual lock set up, with a night latch and deadlock version within a week. I got the version with a thumb turn inside for fire safety. Not only did London Locks do their job as a locksmith as you would expect and fit exceptionally secure locks that are 3 star kitemarked and approved by the police as being pretty much the best, Lloyd also encouraged me to report my original fraudulent locksmith to my bank to try and reclaim some of my money back, and provided me with the evidence and the legal terminology that I needed to do this. They went above and beyond as a team to keep me safe in my home; I don’t have the expertise in locks that they do, and I didn’t realise that I’d been scammed and would have been naively happy, thinking that my home was really secure when it wasn’t. I am beyond grateful.

Incredible service. Had locked myself out of my flat, and the locksmith turned up 7 minutes after I phone. Got me back into my flat and was able to meet my request of upgrading the lock there and then. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

They were fabulous! I messaged and arranged for them to come the next day with the price being transparent throughout which is always appreciated. They also were happy to help with an additional spare key that needed to be fixed which was great so I didn’t have to purchase 2 complete new ones. I was kept up to date on arrival time and it was a seamless process from there. They were efficient and quick! Would highly recommend!

The guy who came same day diagnoses a problem the AA and a garage couldn’t solve (ignition switch and key issue). He worked on it quickly and explained this issue well. Was honest about the other issues I might face with the car going forward. Price was good. Really recommend.

My issue was a Iosted key for a heavy duty steering wheel locker, the man had to remove the locker for me to be able to drive the car! Very good job! Highly recommended! Iliyan was absolutely brilliant he came and assessed the door lock which had an issue with the gear box. It was not working and he immediately ordered another one for us for delivery. He came back the to install and work on our front door in couple days. He did an amazing job very quickly and efficiently, cleaned the mechanics and got it working better than before. the fob for my parking area would not work, so i went to Khan’s. Staff super helpful and advised that cloning would not work if my original wouldn’t. i borrowed a neighbours fob and the cloning was done from that in 2-3 minutes. They advised me in advance that it might not work because of the type of fob, they said i’d get a partial refund if it didn’t. Thankfully it did. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism, politeness, honesty and value for money..

Geoff was extremely friendly and efficient at fixing not only our original call-out issue, but a secondary longstanding issue of a broken off key in our MaxLight sliding door. A previous locksmith had told us we would need to completely remove the door to get the key out, but Geoff got it out in no more than a minute! Would definitely use again in the future.

The service here is great, I went to have a custom made key cut and unfortunately it did not work. I called the shop and the locksmith came to my flat within minutes and fixed it. Highly recommend! They also copy fobs.

I definitely Highly recommend. Originally I called for help asking if it was possible to get keys cut for a security door in Egypt I was asked to send over a picture shortly after I was given a quote which actually was expensive I was only going to get one key cut and not do the other key for another door. Once I got there I was told it will take an hour and I paid the price for two separate keys I had nothing to lose apart from the scary thought it won’t work but once again they gave me confidence and told me exactly what to do and reassured me if it didn’t work a small adjustment will be made and then the next time it should work. I left them my details. An hour later I came back and was given the keys once again they all gave me instructions to follow. Update in both keys they worked perfectly. Very happy with the service. Yes the keys were expensive but cheaper than replacing the door. (No need, keys worked)

Excellent place I shopped around about 4 places trying to get a fob made these guys were the only company that were able to copy the fob for my new apartment block. I think they have a special machine. I imagine they can copy virtually any key
