George the locksmith is 5*!!! I foolishly created a nightmare scenario by locking myself out on a bank holiday weekend at 10pm and with all my key holders being out of town. And so the desperate call around began, talking to call centres and being told I could only get a quote once the ‘operative’ arrived at an unspecified time…. Then tried John Man Locksmith, answered by George who told me he would be there in 10-15 minutes, that there was no charge for call out, and that I only needed to pay if he did manage to get me back into my flat. Arrived very quickly as promised, with George Junior, his son, in training. Master locksmith George Senior managed to get me back into my flat in little more than 10 mins without damaging either the lock or the door, all for the princely sum of £120. In the circumstances I consider that an absolute bargain as well as a life-saver. Thanks George & son!!!!
