Always excellent care for my cat, who is a frequent flyer at the hackney vet. The staff know him and have been kind, thoughtful with pragmatic care and advice during some traumatic (for owner and pet!) health situations. Grateful to have found genuine animal lovers at this vet practice.

I’ve been with Hackney Vet since they opened as I knew one of their founding vet and highly rated him. For years now I would not consider going anywhere else, even when this is not my closest practice. What I get there is consistent faces, vets who truly care for both animals and humans, understand their bond and the difficulties we can face, and offer clear, humane solutions with gentleness. I completely trust the vets in this practice - and I have 8 cats, so this is not a small recommendation!

I highly recommend Hackney Vet! My puppy was having an allergic, I called the Hackney Vet and they were immediately able to get us in. Their team helped put me and Bambi at ease and helped alleviate her symptoms. We've also brought her there for her routine checkups and have always received top-notch care. I can't recommend their kind and caring team enough.

This isn’t our usual vet - which is 150 miles away - but am now registered for when we are in London with our Tibetan, Ted. I am extremely glad we found such an excellent practice. Our 12 year old dog became ill suddenly and it was very worrying. Everyone I interacted with on the phone and at the practice was lovely & Jill, the vet was thorough and very reassuring. Thank you.

Our 1.5 years old female British Blue female seemed to have a UTI (on a Saturday at 8-9pm) so we called the London Animal Hospital and they said that while non life threatening she must have been in pain and they could see her soon. The vet and the nurse on call were both super kind and would explain everything in details to us. You can tell that they love animals and are super competent. I couldn’t recommend more this place to look well after your pets

I have two cats and just recently added a puppy to our family Paxton Vets in Gypsy Hill is one of the most friendliest vets that I have ever encountered. The staff are lovely helpful understanding and would go the extra mile. They don’t only pay attention to you but also to your pet, they create a calm atmosphere so all my pets feel comfortable going to the vets

I found Paxton vets for my 2 bunny rabbits after moving from the USA to France to the UK. It is very hard to find experienced rabbit veterinarians (especially in a new country). But Paxton Vets treat them so well, with such gentle kindness and always listen intently to my concerns so I feel heard and understood. They are clearly knowledgeable with rabbits and I trust them. Whenever I have a question the vet herself gets back to me (same day) via email with the answers I need, suggestions, etc. It is clear customer and pet care are of top priority here at Paxton Vets (Gipsy Road) - many thanks!

Great vet brilliant care and treatment of my pet. The vet was open and transparent regarding my pets health treatment and costs and was very approachable friendly and professional. They're been superb at putting my pet and me as her owner at ease and gave me confidence Lilly was in safe hands. They entirely removed any idea that they might in any way be treating for treating sake they only did what was needed and they did it well. I was highly impressed

The vet is excellent but outrageously expensive… The prices have gone up enormously and I don’t see how they can be justified… We took our dog in just for a brief 20’ check up cost £68.00

I feel that my cats get the best care here. I was previously with another Vets, when one of my cats had an emergency and was referred to Elizabeth Street. The care and attention was amazing. I felt well informed with the regular calls and emails I received not only whilst he was there, but also when he returned home. I feel that I can contact them at anytime with any concerns and I will get advice. There is a great team here. Thank you guys

Honestly I came across this vet today on a Saturday afternoon as an emergency as my 18 year old cat was not well at all. I previously took him to Bluecross Victoria & they were no good and was telling me I had to leave my cat overnight for scan and that he might not make it the night. I called this place and they said they were able to do a scan straight away after a vet examined him. They then discussed with us that my cat was very weak and had too many health issues and me and my sisters just decided to put him out of his missery. This vet honestly I will sing its praise out loud I’m so grateful I came across you lovely people and so happy that my baby was able to have peaceful sleep and can finally put to rest. Thankyou guys so much we really appreciate you !!!!!!

I had to find vet in emergency. Elizabeth st were great. The vet I saw was kind and caring and did a great job. Prices were really reasonable compared to other emergency vet’s. I would recommend this practice. Only one negative point. They took ages to fill in my simple insurance form over 5 weeks. Way too long . And although promised call backs I never got them. This needs addressing.

This morning my dog had some blood in his urine and when I called the Elizabeth street veterinary clinic, they were very helpful and found an appointment for me very quickly. When I came in, everyone was absolutely lovely and nice. The vet I met with took time to understand what was going on, asking a lot of questions and not jumping into conclusions. She took some time to reassure me and explain the next steps in order for my dog to receive the proper care. Thank you so so much! I am very grateful!

The care our little terrier received after being bitten by a big dog last week has been exceptional. Our vet, Samantha Nightingale, could not have been more compassionate, explaining the process and rationale behind all of her decisions, putting our worried minds at ease. We really felt he was in the best hands possible. Our little guy is well and truly on the mend now with a (very neat) bruiser scar...soon to be covered by scruffy fur again! I’ve had many vets in many places over the years and have been lucky that most of them have been very good. This practice is at the very top of my list. The facility is nicely designed, clean, welcoming and doesn’t have that cold hospital feel. The people that work there are all very kind, and clearly know their patients. They provide factual feedback about a situation with the animal’s health in their best interest. It’s also in a nice area with coffee shops, cafes, and a park. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a vet.

Dale and Margaret, along with the rest of the team, have done a fantastic job with our cat. They have been patient and welcoming, open and honest, and always practical. We are very lucky to have them as our local vet and highly recommend their services.

Best vetrinary practice in London and very much likely the UK. Dr.Dale and Margaret are an amazing team, they consistently go above and beyond for our non human family members. They prioritise and advocate for their patients, our pets- as it should be. Honest, reliable and trustworthy. We've been registered at multiple vet practices over the years, no other practice has shown the level of knowledge and dedication as Amwell has. So thankful our dog has been and continues to be safe in their care.

One week post spaying and our dog is almost back to normal. Many thanks to Dale and Margaret for their care and being so accommodating with our dog prior to the operation. We are very grateful. And she has a super tiny scar!

This isn't my usual branch of Village Vet, but I have been here before when my normal branch in St John's Wood was flooded. Had to bring my poorly cat Arthur here during the festive season as there were no appointments at our usual - and they were just as great as our regular vets. Friendly, honest and expert professional service. The vet was lovely and my cat was looked after with care and treated for a reasonable price. Fingers crossed, he seems to be back to his bright-eyed and bushy-tailed self now! Thanks so much to everyone at Village Vet Primrose Hill.
