On the first floor of Pets at Home, is the vet's and the dog grooming parlour. For dogs that don't like going up stairs, conveniently there is a lift between the floors. My dog had a wash, coat trimmed and nails trimmed. The Greenford shopping estate has a large free car park and a variety of shops. While waiting for the groom to be completed, I went next door to Starbucks and had a coffee and watched the world go by.

I come to this shop with my daughter with idea we will see animals and go home. Unfortunately was difficult to leave that place. 😕 My daughter fell in love with hamster. We approached the lady who works there to ask what a hamster needs. We were given reliable information about the footbridge, food, games and also about the animal. My daughter of course did not want to leave without the hamster. I told the lady that if the whole thing with the hamster came to £80 we would take the hamster home. The lady was very experienced and kind and went through the whole shop with us again to choose the products. And of course with her excellent knowledge about the animal the bill came to £62. And so we have a new member of our family Lulu. Thank you so much for your time.

I took my daughter to this pets at home to get a hamster and all the bits for the cage we already had. The lady that served us, I believe her name was Katie, was great at giving us information and advice. We showed her the cage that we had at home and she kindly advised me on what to clean it with and what type of food and chew toys would be best. We had already chosen the sweetest little boy before we spoke to her so she gently got him out and placed him in two boxes (which he totally chewed through on the journey home 🙈) but I'm very happy to report that he is happy and healthy and extremely loved in his new home.
