Our cat became unexpectedly unwell on a Sunday, an emergency home visit was arranged with Veteris, Artemis arrived with us within 90 minutes and gave our cat excellent care and attention. Our cat actually needed to visit for an overnight stay the following day where she was cared for and we were given updates. We were provided with information on costings, and the bill actually came in less than the initial deposit I paid and I was refunded the difference within two days. The practice is clean and the staff were very friendly, the triage team on the phone when you initially call are extremely helpful. Very happy to know that there is access to an emergency vet hospital and out of hours home visits close to us.

Today one of the hardest things happened. I lost my darling guinea pig and best friend Thumbelina due to a fast acting gastrointestinal issue. The staff here at this vet were so helpful and so kind to both me and my baby whilst she was going through this. The treatment and care here was beyond phenomenal and I couldn’t recommend this vet enough. The photo shows Thumbelina in her prime to remember her as she was before the illness. Thank you to the incredible team that helped us both today 🤍🤍

Thank you so so much for looking after our Ruby girl in her final hours … having the amazing vet come to care for her at home was truly appreciated and gave Ruby the comfort she needed … nothing was a problem for the vet and she had so much care .. time and compassion in what was a very sad time … the service we received and the care was outstandingly amazing. Even down to the aftercare of Ruby being taken to be cremated was done with so much ease and thoughtfulness and nothing was a problem for our great vet ! .I really and truly can’t thank you enough for all the help you gave Ruby and the care you gave to us as a family .

Salvo had a deep cut requiring urgent stitching . Veteris sent Ines one of their vets to my flat within 1 hour of phoning . She was really brilliant , caring , patient, meticulous and very professional. Everything was explained very clearly including the risks of the anaesthetic and the surgery . She gave him an anaesthetic and stitched the wound in my flat which took 2.5 hours in total . Everyone has been very helpful and attentive and I would recommend them highly .

I had an emergency on Boxing Day and was welcomed by a lovely nurse ( sorry I forgot to ask your name, blond young lady) and seen by a vet called Laura. My dog is quite difficult to handle but Laura was very understanding and handled her with love, compassion and with great professionalism. She went even further and book me an appointment for surgery the day after to get my dog out of pain quickly. I can say that I agree with some of the other reviews as some other vets there are not so great or compassionate people. Thank you Laura and nurse on duty today to keep PDSA score high 🙏🏻❤️

Magda has finally left this practice, I'd been using another branch for some years since having bad experiences with her competence and attitude. Jeremy an experienced vet has taken over whom I had an appointment with today, all seems good so far. He comes across as very experienced and has a natural love for animals. I'm looking forward to using more of the Stanmore practice in the future.

I am so happy that Jeremy has taken over this practice. Jeremy is an amazing vet. He is a skilled vet and is very knowledgeable and caring. He is also a real people person and I have only had positive experiences with him. He is warm and easy to deal with.

A wonderful, kind and compassionate practice. We loved Magda, she looked after our poorly cat Jojo so well and I was concerned when she left but Alex and Jeremy have filled the gap and Zaynab, Leah and Molly are the most caring nurses imaginable. Great team who I trust with my pets. I have dealt with 3 vets whilst attending the practice over the last 2 years, and I have had really positive experiences with all three (Phil, Nathan and Sandrine). They are currently assisting with relocating our dogs to Australia (the regulatory process is a nightmare) and they have been knowledgeable and super helpful. Anna on reception is a wonder with both her customer service and how she treats the patients.

Exceptional doesn’t even come close to my rating of the team at Holders Hill. Phil Barr is simply amazing-having been to many money grabbing vets practices who push treatment for sadly a material gain, Phil is a rare exception. He treats with compassion, honesty and respect of not only his clients but owners too. My 5 * review extends of course to Nicky and the rest of the supporting team who my 2 spaniels adore. For 2 dogs to beeline to their vets practice on a walk speaks volumes. They simply love it there. Thankyou for all you do to make my boys well and happy.

We adopted our beautiful little cat from The Mayhew, the whole process was simple and easy. A great charity - if you want a pet, adopt, don't buy!!

Vets who truly care. We adopted our kitty through Mayhew, and needed help with examining her that the all-the-bells-and-whistles pet insurance we carefully chose refused to pay for. After hearing our story, the friendly staff at Mayhew saw to our beautiful fur-ball almost instantly, and did a proper check-up involving anesthesia and x-rays (among other things) completely free of charge, because of our situation. They are brilliant. ❤️

Thank you David for saving Ivy's life and acting so fast. Ivy had been spayed at a different vets in scunthorpe 5 days later she was very ill. David saved her life she needed further surgery for peritonitis and sepsis in the internal wound and abdomen. Had David not been such a good hands on vet with knowledge she wouldn't have made it. Thank you David for caring so much and saving ivy's life

My cat Reggie was treated here as an inpatient after a urinary blockage. He received fantastic care and has recovered really well. All staff were great, but want to particularly mention Sandrine who was lovely. Huge thank you to everyone at Wood Street for looking after my boy so well. He’s back to his usual cuddly self and even eating his special diet food now!

Friendly, calm atmosphere. Our elderly but strong cat was completely calm in the lovely vet's hands. Everything explained well and went completely smoothly. We always feel comfortable here. Best vets we've used.

Wood Street Veterinary Hospital are absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a vet practice which genuinely cares about you and your pet, this is the place. I have recently sadly had to say a tragic farewell to my gorgeous cat, my adorable Bernard. When he began displaying signs of being unwell, I had him checked up at Wood Street, and the examining vet Daniele was compassionate and professional throughout. Bernard was admitted to Wood Street for 2 days to undergo tests, and the staff were regularly in touch with me during this time to keep me updated. Bernard was diagnosed with lymphoma and sadly following his discharge he continued to deteriorate, and although it was the hardest decision, the kindest thing to do was to say goodbye to my little friend. This final appointment at Wood Street was one of the most difficult and saddest things I have ever had to do, but every single member of staff there made it so much more manageable with their kindness, empathy and compassion. While Bernard was being put to sleep, the vet practice ignited an electric candle in their reception, which I learned is a ritual they undertake for any pet whose time it is to say goodbye to. This beautiful ritual sums up my experience of Wood Street Veterinary Hospital. Thank you to everyone there for being as lovely and caring as you all are, it meant so much to me. Very helpful and friendly people whom assisted me with my pets

I've been using goddards since 2013 and I must say they are amazing. I've had 2 cats neutered (male and female) by Jo and 1 dog (female) and I must say the process has been nothing short of excellent. Jo is a godsend. She's very caring and kind. They are professional yet very caring and understanding. They treated my exempt "xl bully" with nothing but love and care. She was very well looked after during her day at the clinic and was given alot of affection. Highly recommend this vets. All the staff are brilliant. A little bit more expensive than surrounding vets but worth every penny just for the service alone. The vets itself is always clean, I like that it's never busy/overcrowded in the waiting room like other vets, appointments 99.9% of the time are on time, parking literally on the doorstep.

Extremely friendly and helpful vet! We called them during the weekend after a feral cat abandoned her 3 kittens to us. They were so helpful answering all our questions and booking us in for a free kitten health check. When we went into their practice we explained our situation and they took in the kittens to look after and hopefully rehome them. As guilty as we feel, I'm grateful that we found a safer place for those poor kittens.

We can’t thank this veterinary team enough for literally saving our puppy’s life. From the moment we arrived, the admission process was quick and efficient, making it easy to get through during a stressful time. The vets are incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly, putting us at ease. They assessed our puppy’s condition quickly and provided the care she needed, ensuring she was well looked after and treated with kindness. This was our second experience with them in an emergency—our cat had been treated here before, and we had the same positive experience. I highly recommend this clinic for any pet emergency. Andrew and the team at Two by Two have been a core part of our pup Coco's life. From emergency overnight care to her month to month needs, we were welcomed in and incredibly well cared for. Coco was always keen to go and see Andrew and get cuddles from the team. No small feat for a vet to have a four legged fan who was always excited to visit:) We will never be able to thank you enough.

My roommate and I recently adopted two beautiful black kittens, as it turns out one boy and one girl (originally thought to be 2 boys). We immediately registered at Two by Two because of the good reviews and have had nothing but positive experiences. Everyone is so sweet and friendly and well organised, they’ve talked us through everything clearly and it’s well priced for what we get. We’re really happy with them and definitely recommend to anyone looking to take proper care of their pets!

We moved from the area in 2019 but still drive here from East London as the care really is five star. Our elderly chihuahua Willis has had a few old age health issues over the past year, and Andrew and his team always give honest and trustworthy advice, with professional treatment. I have been taking my miniature poodle to the Two by Two Veterinary Centre for a few years now. My dog is 14 years of age so getting on a bit! I visited Two by Two Veterinary Centre before Christmas for a check up and booked in an operation to clean my dog's teeth as his teeth were really needing to be cleaned. The vet who did the procedure was Dr Andrew Monchar. The operation ended up being a very long procedure as my dog had to have quite a few extractions and it was far more complicated than first envisaged. When I went to pick my dog up after the procedure, Dr Monchar explained very clearly to me the complexity of the dental surgery. Two weeks later my dog is so much happier and brighter and the complex surgery was a total success. I cannot thank Dr Monchar enough for his expertise and kindness to both my dog and also to me too. I was a bit stressed about the procedure as my dog is elderly. The Nursing Team were also so welcoming and kind and nothing was too much trouble for them. Previously my dog had been seen by Dr Adam Frizzell for a check up etc and he too is a fabulous vet. Thank you very very much Dr Monchar for the complicated dental procedure that you performed on my dog and for looking after him so well. I cannot recommend Two by Two Veterinary Centre enough.
