A friend of mine took us to this gorgeous pub. Loved the atmosphere of the non-tourists local pub in the suburb of London and mixed with locals.
Cavernous Spoons in a nice old building, sadly soon to close I hear. Decent choice of ales, but not all on great form. Full of old people pushing peas around the plate. Meh!
Pleasant atmosphere friendly community environment…. I’ve been asked if I was part of the tennis club and Wanstead youth group, today I’m very popular. Only having a pint today as eaten before coming out. An interesting pup on two levels with typical Wetherspoon local historical facts on offer. Spoons #67
