Really thorough veterinary examination for my sick ferret. The vet is clearly an expert in exotic species and they go all out to do the best for your pet. Where most vets would just offer antibiotics for a chest infection, Matthew offered lots of diagnostic tests to rule out something more serious and even did some dental work while the ferret was unconscious anyway. If you don't have insurance and just want your pet to be treated asap for a reasonable cost, this is not the vet for you as it's really expensive. However if you want human-level healthcare for an exotic pet then 100% this is the place.

Churchill and I saw Matthew this morning he took the time to answer my questions listened to me and then gave clear answers. No hard sell just care and you could clearly see he knew what he was doing. Thank you we will see you next year for our pre winter check 🐢

Can't recommend enough. My rabbit had an abscess and needed surgery, unfortunately, they couldn't remove it all and a month later her leg needed to be amputated. As my rabbit was feisty I couldn't do the post-surgery care by myself and they boarded her and took amazing care of her and let her husbun stay with her for emotional support for free. I am devastated that I moved out and need to change vets as I doubt I will find someone as gentle and professional for my fur babies.

Bearded Dragon Sif - who is one of my Creature Companions at only 3+ years in age, did very much die of exhaustion from drowning recently, I did all that I could in reviving her to a conscience state and felt very sad that she was dying... I called CJ Hall Vets team - they were the only hope that Sif had for any immediate examination, and I will always appreciate to that end the endeavours that each and every one of them put effort into, to ensuring that not only did the Human Companion grow happy with the outstanding professional medical services delivered - BUT that the Creature Companion was put first, and I trust CJ Hall Vets for this very said reason. Great first time visiting this Vet. He explained everything really well and seemed very knowledgeable. The 2 receptionists ladies (Karlae and Huma) are wonderful! Very helpful, sweet and chatty. They also carry Royal Canin and my dog loves that brand. I will definitely come back here. Thank you! :)

I've been going to Abingdon for the last 2+ years with my elderly dog. They are always super helpful and supportive. The whole team at reception are especially kind and accommodating. They've made managing a tough few years that little bit easier. 🙏🏼

I am following up on my last review about poor behaviour of a member of the staff. I have received a very apologetic call from the lovely nurse Huma in the meantime. What a star employee and pleasure to speak to! The clinic should count themselves lucky to have her. She was empathetic and understanding and listed to me and helped to find a way forward for my dog. My experience with Abingdon Veterinary Clinic was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted my cat so warmly, making us feel right at home. They were incredibly welcoming, and every interaction from the friendly care to answering my concerns over the phone it professional and kind. Highly recommend for loving, top-notch care!

The best vet in south London by far. I had my last pet in their care up to the end which was dealt with the utmost dignity and loving care. My new companion is of course also registered with them. I would love to thank the amazing staff at Streatham Hill Vets after the wonderful and most thoughtful gift they sent my mum today, after losing her very old cat Tinkerbell a couple of months ago, today she received the most sweetest remembrance of her beloved Cat. Beautiful footprints and a snipping of her beautiful black coat. It made my mum very emotional but with happy memories of her 17 year old cat. The timing was perfect, you really did a great job of caring for her baby when she was poorly and making the heartbreaking process easier to manage. Well done guys, a massive Pat on the back to you guys for being so so thoughtful. Can’t thank you enough for making my mums day. I really do appreciate everything you’ve done then and today. We are always welcomed when we visit the vet. The vets are always able to calm Mia by stroking and communicating with her in a soft tone, which she is always receptive to. If the visit is for a check up, the vets are very thorough in their examination and always provide clear information on Mia's current health and any possible future health issues. Great service all round!

A caring, thoughtful and professional team oversaw the care of my aging parrot over three days recently. I was called twice a day with updates. Today I was advised her breathing had deteriorated. It was suggested I come in. I was able to enter before opening hours and spend time either my pet. I want to particular note the care given by Sema and Hannah today, as I made the difficult decision to let my pet of over 31 years, go. And before then Dr. Michaela explained in detail the care Bridgitte would get. The cost of her care was given to me before admitting her, and I was also given the estimated costs of additional care, if I chose. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. I recommend them highly to anyone who wants the best care, oversight, empathy and professionalism.

I have a 10 year old pug with epilepsy who was in dire need of having his teeth cleaned and some removed. I didn't trust my usual vet and these guys were recommended to me by a friend. Though teeth cleaning was routine for them, I was absolutely terrified to go through with it. They took the time to speak with me, explain everything and examine my dog in person. They also took care to answer all my questions after I had left. I felt as comfortable as I possibly could. The day went perfect and they took great care of my dog. I'm so pleased with my experience here.

I cannot be grateful enough for the treatment and the care this clinic has given to my 1.5 year old cat. After investigation with my local vet in Islington, we discovered that he had a broken femur head and neck. I was looking for a clinic that was ready to take care of him and I found Dr Vishaal, who is specialised in orthopaedic surgeries. He explained to me that he needed to urgently get his femur head and neck removed. Dr Vishaal was extremely patient with explaining the complex procedure, the pros and cons of it, the recovery time, the alternatives. The whole team has been completely transparent with regards to the costs, and taking into consideration my own budget, explaining to me what was really necessary and what was a nice add-on for his recovery. My cat spent the night at the clinic after the surgery and I could see that he had been very well taken care of as he was very calm and not stressed when I picked him up. I was quite worried about leaving him there since it was my first time leaving one of my cats overnight at the vet but the whole infrastructure was comforting, the team kept me posted about how he was, there was communication all along. The nurse even left me say a proper goodbye on my own with my pet at the moment of the drop-off. The surgery happened two months ago and my cat walks again, runs, climbs. They really saved him and took really good care. of him. I am still in contact with Dr Vishaal to check on his recovery as it spans across several months. The humanity and care from all the employees at this clinic, from the front desk, to the nurse and the vet himself remains unmatched to me. I recommend this clinic and Dr Vishaal to all my friends that have an animal. And I feel really grateful for their help. I rarely write reviews but I really wanted to take the time to write this long one. My animals mean the world to me and it is really hard to find a trustworthy vet in a city like London. I wanted to share my experience so that it could help others.

I cannot be grateful enough to the Team in this Clinic. They saved Rexy’s life at least twice. Rexy loves coming here! She is always dragging me to enter the Clinic. Especially when she is feeling a bit unwell. And always if close by. Obviously, she regards it as a good place to be in! And of course, it is amazing that it is open 24hrs! Thank you!

I took my little puppy to Kynance Vets for his first vaccinations. The team were very welcoming and informative. The Head Nurse Elyse was exceptionally helpful! She answered all of my questions that I had with being a new puppy owner. She was very attentive and gave Woody lots of puppy cuddles which I'm sure he loved!

Great vets vets with the advantage of being open 24/7. Been with them many years and recently my old girl ruptured her ACL. VK did a great job fixing this and all the vets were very helpful during her post op recovery

This is the best veterinarian service in London. 2 of my dogs have been registered here - one that was older and now a puppy. Without fail I have found them to be caring, very knowledgeable, and supportive in making decisions about my dog's care. More importantly, the entire crew is friendly, helpful, and approachable for questions and advice. Highly recommend.

Very grateful for the continued support of the whole team at KVC. Kay is an absolute superstar - no question is ever a silly question. She’s so friendly and always happy to go above and beyond to help. Our dog, Rolo had a minor surgery but is naturally a very anxious dog. On the day, the team collectively made it a very calm environment for Rolo and us! They kept us up to date throughout the day and when we came to collect Rolo he was all wrapped up in a lovely blanket and looked very relaxed. They gave us helpful after-care information on how to look after him. I can’t remember the name of the lovely young female vet who looked after Rolo but she was very professional, caring and gentle with Rolo. We’re extremely grateful for all the support we’ve had and would highly recommend this veterinary practise. Thank you!

My favorite vet for my French Bulldog. Dr. Kevin has taught me so much about properly caring for my beloved frenchie! Lovely practice! Had to travel abroad with my dog and was pretty nervous about it, doctor Sandra helped with all the documents and the staff were extremely attentive and lovely. Felt very reassured after the visit, highly recommended!

When we got our puppy last year, I was a little reluctant about using this vet based on some of the reviews, but it is the nearest one to us by some way and we decided to give them a chance. The care they have given my dog Evie has been amazing and I really do recommend them. We’ve been seen to quickly when needed and the staff are all lovely. Sadly we’re moving out to the area so need to find a new vet but I just wanted to thank them for everything.

I have had consistently good experiences with this vet - both the vets and the reception staff are friendly and helpful and look after my two rescue dogs really well. I was particularly impressed after one of my dogs had to undergo surgery at a different (non-Medivet) veterinary practice whilst we were on holiday, and Medivet West Ken were kind enough to remove the stitches without charging us when we got back to London.
