L'Aventure offered a truly exceptional dining experience. The onion tart, with its perfect cooking and balanced goat cheese, was a unique and delightful starter. The main course, featuring the exceptional veal, was a feast for both the palate and the eyes with its remarkable presentation. What's worth noting is that L'Aventure follows a set menu format, allowing you to choose between various combinations. You can opt for a starter and a main course, or go for the full experience with a starter, main course, and a delectable dessert, like the phenomenal apple tart. While L'Aventure may be on the pricier side, the quality, presentation, and range of options in the set menu make it unquestionably worth the investment for a truly unforgettable culinary journey.

Outstanding French fare, great service and a really nice European vibe - the onion tart and the monkfish special were delicious, and the veal and the quail were very good too. Desserts were good, though not as good as the savoury dishes. Really nice staff and loved their playlist as well as their selection of wines! Will be back.

One of the best Italians in London. The service is great and the food even better. The melanzane and pizzeta are must have , try the raspberry tarte for dessert and you will not regret it .

Gorgeous food. Great staff.... wine way over priced. Ive never come across somewhere that a glass of wine is way more exp than a cocktail. Anyways dj played amazing song and all in all was great... i wish there was a seperate bar so you could stay for a drink and listen to the music

fine dining experience was great. Customer service was heavy on experience but the food took a little too long, pasta was wasn’t perfect but other than that everything else was great. Cocktails was average, starter was great, mains was okay, staff was amazing. Blanket and heater was appreciated for outside dining. Staff was entertaining

Beautiful fine dining experience obviously. It’s situated at the heart of Mayfair. Very chic Italian! We had an al fresco experience but the tables were super close to each other - even if there wasn’t a pandemic, it would have still felt like people were in your personal space. That said, food was good. Took a bit of time to arrive but arrived hot and nice. Presentation was excellent. Absolute food art. Loved it. The value for money wasn’t great. Think it was over priced for the quality and portions . Good selections of wines though and staff were friendly and professional.

We visited for brunch/lunch after passing by and liked the look of the restaurant and it seemed popular because it was busy (in a good way). We had a wonderful visit. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and comfortable, the decor is lovely and staff were really friendly and very efficient. The food was fantastic and the triple cooked chips were to die for. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely return when we’re next in the area. Had a lovely chat with the owner who was also dining on table beside us. He was so welcoming and friendly and proudly told us the story around developing the restaurant and the story behind the name. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Visited on the recommendation of a friend, and enjoyed every second. The staff were really welcoming and the food was amazing. Good for vegetarians (like me) too! Definitely try the mulled wine! Would definitely go back.

I had a lovely evening at England’s Grace having a catch up with friends. We had the burrata starter, lamb, and truffle fries. The service was wonderful from start to finish and our server Deirdre was friendly, funny, and made sure we were taken care of!

We had gone by several times, and the menu looked exciting, so we finally decided to go for dinner. The atmosphere of the restaurant is clean, classy and elegant and the service is lovely, with them taking care of our table and checking in fairly regularly. The menu has a good range of delicious options, which was good since one of us was gluten intolerant, which they were quite accommodating about. The wine list was also very good, with the wine that we asked for being amazing! I would have loved to see more new world wines given it is a restaurant of antipodean inspiration. The food was delicious, both in taste and presentation, both of us loving the flavour combinations of the dishes we ordered. The only issue really was the rigatoni with morels dish did not have a lot of morel in it and a little more would be good to appreciate the taste, however the dish was still delicious anyways. The prices were very competitive given the dishes we had. Unfortunately, we were waiting for almost an hour for the starters to arrive. However, I do not think this is a recurrent issue since the staff was extremely apologetic and offered us a discount and a voucher on our way out to make up for it. We will be coming back!

I Absolutely love this restaurant. I came here with my fiancée for lunch as we were given a gift card from a family member. It was our first time here. I booked a table in advance via email. Helen was very helpful in assisting me with this and it was very simple . On arrival we were greeted by 2 members of staff with lovely smiles , Juan and another lady both showed us to our table I didn't catch her name but she was nice to us both. We sat down and another waiter served us, he was lovely and had a great sense of humour. Lots of laughs and made us feel welcome too. We ordered olives and bread as we just wanted something light to start. The bread arrived warm and butter was freshly made in house. It was a very generous portion for £5 as well. I thought it would just be a few slices but it wasnt. This certainly came as a surprise , we ate it aĺl and enjoyed it. I must add the butter was very tasty. Weird thing to say but ive not had real fresh butter in years so this made me smile. , my fiancée ordered a special of the day with was a ribeye.I ordered the steak frites and salad. Both steaks were cooked to perfection , melt in the mouth and most certainly worth every penny. The accompanying sauces were freshly made too. It was so tasty!! The flat iron steak (steak frites dish ) was much thicker that I thought it was going to be. I was delighted by this. The staff were efficient, they did ask us if we were finished before clearing our table for our desserts. I ordered the apple tart fine. My partner ordered the vanilla cheesecake. We both agreed that the apple tart was sublime! It was the best apple tart I've ever eaten. I would most certainly recommend this couples, family, friends. The restaurant itself is stunning inside, i loved the character of it and it is spotless. I could find no fault of this restaurant and it was refreshing to find a place with such high standards and everyone being friendly too. I will most certainly be back and have recommended already to family and friends. I felt so special here. The service, the food, everything was perfect! Thank you again to all who interacted with us and served us. From the moment we were greeted at the beginning to the moment we left, all the staff were friendly, attentive and smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. We didn't feel rushed at any point and we loved feeling like a VIP here. Thank you to you all at Soutine.

I should have reviewed Fora SJW many years ago and I'm really glad that I've finally got to correcting this injustice. I've been a loyal Fora customer for dining in and taking out. The menu is extensive. Its execution is perfect. Turkish cuisine is absolutely amongst the most interesting and pleasing there is, with lots of variations and thus lots to choose from depending on the mood. The staff are super friendly and super efficient

I had a delightful dining experience at Fora Restaurant in St John’s Wood! From the moment we walked in, the warm, friendly service and the stylish ambience made us feel right at home. I ordered a vegetarian dish Okra, and it was absolutely fantastic, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal with friends or family. The attention to detail in both the food and service was remarkable. I highly recommend Fora Restaurant for its exceptional food and welcoming atmosphere. It’s definitely a gem in St John’s Wood, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

This place was amazing. It's nice and cosy with beautiful interior decor. We had my sister's graduation dinner on a Friday. The food was so tasty, and the service was amazing. There was a lady singing that day, and she was so engaging. The whole place lit up, and people were dancing together, and everyone had so much fun. My daughter and niece said it was their best day ever. I would highly recommend Drunch

Nice food, lovely service and great shishas - recommend the feta dip, the superfood salad, the burrata and the churros (the arrabbiata was a bit too cooked). Servers are very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is cozy even when sitting outside.

It is very hit and miss with the service and quality of the food. Vegetables served as most of us were finishing off our steak pie and mash!! A couple of bar staff were very cheerful and seemed happy in their workplace a couple were miserable as sin. The venue is pleasant enough but you are paying top dollar for food and drink, but that's SJW and even more so Lord's.

This stunning restaurant not only has beautiful interiors but serves up some of the most delicious Lebanese food. We started with their creamy, smooth hummus and refreshing tabbouleh, packed with fresh parsley, tomatoes, onion and bulgur. The falafel and batata hara (spicy potato cubes) were tasty, while the halloumi had the perfect smoky flavour, paired with fresh veggies. For salads, the fattoush with its crispy Lebanese bread, sumac, and pomegranate molasses hit all the right notes. For mains, we savoured an aubergine and chickpeas casserole with rice. And for dessert we indulged in their signature knafeh (that delightful cheese with vermicelli) alongside baklava and a comforting rice pudding, all finished off with a refreshing cup of mint tea. Highly recommend this spot for any Lebanese food lover!

What a fabulous restaurant. Beautiful building, fantastic food and great friendly service..... Thoroughly recommended, tried the Hommos Beiruty, for a mild kick. Then the Lentil Soup with crispy Lebanese bread topping and fresh lemon juice 😋 The Batata Hara and fried vegetables was lovely and all these came as generous portions... The Maroush Mixed Grills was divine, with perfectly cooked meats and bread with vegetables plus the usual table dishes to share too.... yummo Plenty of table water and the Lemon Juice drink was delicious..... finished with a coffee and some baklava Definitely put this on your "must visit" list

Sunday night food... everything was available and 2 of the Roasts, the Chicken & Lamb and were both excellent with gravy and yorkies and plenty of meat and veg'. Service was friendly and prompt. It was noisy, with people enjoying themselves, but, that's not entirely a bad thing. Prices were good for the quality and quantity of food.

🚇 St John’s Wood 🍺 £7.00 Moretti ❤️ A laidback St John’s Wood pub. . The Duke of York is located at the end of upscale St John’s Wood High Street, this NW8 watering hole is a pleasant five minute amble from St John’s Wood Station. . This pub was established in 1826 and has been a focal point of this local well healed community for some time. . The decor here is contemporary and stylish and the pub feels bright and airy. There are lots of low level seating as well as standing room at the bar. There is also outdoor seating around the front of the pub if you fancy a bit of people watching in the warmer months. . The beer choice was good, there is a line up of familiar brands but I didn’t notice any real ale. I decided on a Moretti, my pint was nice enough but this is the most I’ve ever paid for a Moretti, £7 ouch! This pub also offers an A La Carte food menu. . I visited with my family on the way to see The Hundred cricket final at Lords. The pub was busy with the majority of punters outside lapping up the September sunshine. There was a real buzz around the place, the location of the pub makes for a fantastic environment. . The @dukeofyork_stjohnswood is a lovely boozer in a great location. The ambiance is really appealing and this is an easy pub to settle in to. The price point is at the top end which reflects the area but similar pubs in similar areas charge less. Would I recommend a visit here, absolutely! . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 03/09/22

Went on Christmas Eve with my friend. We had a lovely time and service was to the point. Noted the customers next to us were giving their comment to the staff. The staff and the manager had managed in a professional and hospitable manner. Food was lovely especially the Ivy Snowman dessert. The only downside is the tables are reasonably packed, therefore, the atmosphere was loud and difficult to walk around given its premiership and branding.

Had planned to come here for a full English breakfast at noon but they stop serving it at 11:30 - not a problem! Went for the blackened Cod and Creamed spinach instead. Both were excellent, the black cod especially was of great quality and together the portions were very satisfying. I would recommend. Blackened Cod = 10/10 Creamed spinach = 9/10

A Delightful Experience at The Ivy St John's Wood , London Our recent visit to The Ivy St John's Wood was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, combining a chic, modern aesthetic with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. What truly made our visit memorable was the outstanding service, particularly from the manager, a wonderful lady whose name we unfortunately didn't catch. She went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and well-attended to throughout our meal. Her welcoming demeanor and attentiveness made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. She skillfully balanced a friendly approach with the utmost professionalism, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was perfect.
