Is the first time I have been to this place. Nice, clean and cosy restaurant with kind and professional staff. The food was excellent and fantastically presented. The wine was good too. I will be back to enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere. Thank you guys! 👏🏻👏🏻
The drinks were definitely “craft”! Beautiful presentation & taste. We had focaccia bread with basalmic & olive oil, very good. Our main was risotto with chicken & veggies—all very tasty! Definitely a place worth checking out. We’re glad we stopped here. They have a great lunch special on the board we will come back to try!
Really enjoyable first meal in this new restaurant. A simple menu but super tasty food. I opted for the Chicken Risotto - creamy, buttery but light and fluffy. Hands down best risotto I’ve had! Great staff and engaging owner too. Look forward to coming back and considering they’ve only been opened two weeks… big things to come. Go support this new restaurant
What a fantastic Friday evening. A warm welcome by the staff, we were greeted immediately upon entry. We had pinsa, calamari, tacos and chicken Caesar salad for starters. We then had two tagliatelle with rib eye, carbonara, and chicken corn breast. Everything was fantastic, great portion size and excellent presentation. For desert, we had the stunning pistachio cheesecake, the selection of fine cheeses and the sorbet. You must try the pistachio cheesecake! For drinks, we had the mulled wine, which was perfect, and Irish coffee to end the night. Will definitely be returning, and would recommend everyone to visit. A great thanks to the Mate’s team.
Absolutely delicious food! We had an amazing dinner at Mate's. The food was exquisite, amazing wine selection, and the pistachio cheesecake is my new favourite dessert. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
