Couldn't get into my safe after a leaking battery damaged the circuitry. Contacted Tom who came over within a couple of hours...and the safe was tougher than expected with a locking system that was different than the run of the mill and tough steel (so a good safe!). Despite the difficulty, Tom persisted and won! Friendly, knowledgeable and a good chat too. Would highly recommend him!

Spent several hours on a Monday morning looking for my car keys to no avail. Couldn’t risk not getting to work again so contacted auto locksmith. Got in touch very quickly, arrived within 45mins as stated and managed to produce a replacement car key in about the same time. Life is now back on track as a result of a quick service. Very polite and professional. Not intending to lose a key ever again but would use the service again if I did.

The lock on my back door wasn't working and i was leaving the country in two days. I was in a bit of a panic. I sent the firm photos of the doors, locks and hinges. They came round within 2 hours. It took them 45 minutes to repair and it is working better than ever. The guy doing the work was five star pleasant. Only drawback is that it was a little pricey but I did know that in advance

Thank you so much to the two lovely staff at G K Locksmith who helped my daughter this afternoon. The clasp on her gold chain necklace had been jammed tightly closed and, despite many attempts, we had been unable to prise it open. My daughter has had keys cut at G K in the past, and they’ve always done a great job, so on a whim, we ducked in there to see if they could help with the recalcitrant clasp! The gentleman and lady in the shop couldn't have been nicer and, within minutes, they'd manoeuvred the clasp open. This was a big relief, as my daughter is getting married tomorrow and will be wearing a different necklace! The staff refused to take any payment either - they were such lovely people. So glad we popped in. 凸

I have had two brilliant experiences with this business. Once when we were victims of a burglary and they came quickly to fix our door and add a new lock. Amazing and so understanding and also very reassuring after what was such a scary experience. Secondly, Rob just helped me over the phone- for free- to fix my window which wasn’t closing. I called Anthony to help change some locks for a recent tenant eviction with a bailiff we had booked. Anthony was absolutely brilliant - not only did he arrive on time and ready for action, he was also not fazed with dealing with a difficult tenant who refused to open the door. Anthony then changed the locks swiftly, provided good quality locks and quoted a very fair price. Having problems with my elderly mother's kitchen door, which had a jamming locking mechanism. Arranged for Anthony Taylor to come to her house, and he provided a first class service throughout. He arrived promptly, took time to diagnose the problem correctly, and when it became clear that obtaining replacement parts would be difficult, suggested an alternative fix which worked perfectly. Professional and polite throughout, Anthony gave useful advice on preventative maintenance and improving security further. Charges were very reasonable and I would not hesitate in recommending him to others.

We called Anthony when we needed to quickly change our lock as he had done some previous work on the flat that we were happy with. He responded quickly, advised us on the best (and most cost-efficient!) solution, and did a swift but thorough job. He not only swapped but upgraded our lock. After an attempted break-in which badly damaged my front door, I feel I was very fortunate to find ASL (by googling). They very quickly replaced the door with a much stronger one with all required locks, hinge bolts etc and at a price that the insurer’s loss adjusters found to be reasonable. They were very friendly and helpful, as I had absolutely no experience of dealing with a damaged front door. Really appreciated!
