Grant was really hospitable and welcoming into his little store next to Sainsbury's. Has a great demeanor and you know he's passionate about repairing and extending the life of the precious things we own. He restored my mother's boots from the 80s and 90s so well. Wish I had taken before pictures to show the difference, they’ve done a spectacular job on my riding boots and saved me spending £100 on replacements! Heels were completely worn through at the back, through the cork & nails and almost through the sole. They’ve entirely rebuilt them as well as replacing the sole, and giving the whole boots a polish and spruce up. Couldn’t be more thrilled! In the last photo, I’ve tried to show with my thumbnail where the heels were worn to before. The repair was done in just over a week, it likely will be quicker for most as they needed to order the heels in for mine. Cost me £45, which is well worth it considering they’ve given me at least another 5 years with these boots.
