Honestly one of the best tradespeople I have worked with. I called Claude on a Saturday afternoon and he told me he had time to pop round in 15 minutes! Upon arrival, he fixed my door lock immediately, had all the parts with him, gave sensible advice regarding which lock would be best and worked quickly and efficiently. Very impressed.

Owner has assisted me three times across multiple properties. After an unfortunate burglary, locksmith installed a new front door frame, changed communal front door locks with the same key, and replaced the glass panels with stronger ones. Very reasonable pricing, but more importantly, he will ensure that the work is completed completely, that is difficult to come by these days.

I recently needed a brand-new key coded for my BMW, and after being turned down by several locksmiths because I bought the key myself, I found The Master Locksmith. I could not be happier with the service from G K Locksmiths, they are easily the best company I have dealt with while renovating my house, if I could award more than 5 stars I would and so I wanted to write them a detailed review! Quote: I spoke to 3 locksmith companies in total, G K Locksmiths quote came in the cheapest, and unprompted they provided the British Standard regulatory numbers to which their locks comply. On top of this, I was getting a thumb-turn installed and had initially planned to have it on the bottom lock of my two lock door, G K locksmiths rang up and explained it would be cheaper to install the thumb-turn on the upper lock as it means I could keep my brass handles and plates on the bottom lock, this saved me nearly £100 despite that being a loss in profit for them! Installation: When it came to installation G K Locksmiths were able to come to my house first-thing at 8.30 am so I could fit in the appointment before going to work and not have to take any time off. Rob, who installed my locks was a really nice, knowledgable, friendly bloke. The lock installation was top quality and Rob even advised me on where to get an extra set of keys cut closer to my house than G K Locksmiths office. As an example of the quality of work Rob provided, even though we were reusing my plates and handles on the bottom lock, he still took them off and straightened them so that they are more aesthitacly pleasing. Finally, I work in green-materials and recycling and when I got chatting to Rob about this he told me that G K Locksmiths recycle all their scrap metal and brass, along with the cardboard and plastic the locks come in which is great to hear! Overall: Great Service, great people, great value for money. Couldnt be happier

I really can't recommend these guys enough. I called on the Thursday afternoon needing the locks changed on my new house and was booked in immediately for the Friday lunchtime. Rob arrived exactly on time, did a great job and was so friendly and helpful. He also gave me loads of tips on home security which were much appreciated. I won't hesitate to call them next time I need a lock changed.

They were fabulous! I messaged and arranged for them to come the next day with the price being transparent throughout which is always appreciated. They also were happy to help with an additional spare key that needed to be fixed which was great so I didn’t have to purchase 2 complete new ones. William picked up the call first time and was round my house within 15 minutes….after the wife and I locked ourselves out during the morning school run. Quick, prompt, has a car full of equipment and got us indoors within 15 minutes. Great value, nice guy. Recommend.

William was excellent. Came out promptly, clearly knows what he's doing. A really nice guy too! We'd called out another so called "locksmith" beforehand who turned out to be a right conman, tried to tell us it was impossible to unlock the door and he'd have to drill out the lock, which was utter BS. So when William turned up you immediately felt he was someone who could be trusted, and he managed to unlock the door without damaging anything. Highly recommend!

I stupidly locked my housemate out of his own bedroom - Ank Locksmiths gave me quote over the phone and a locksmith was at my door in 20 minutes. The job was completed very quickly and efficiently, and the price quote was both very reasonable and a hundred percent accurate. Hopefully I won't have any more use for a locksmith, but if I do these guys will be my first port of call!
