We called Anthony when we needed to quickly change our lock as he had done some previous work on the flat that we were happy with. He responded quickly, advised us on the best (and most cost-efficient!) solution, and did a swift but thorough job. He not only swapped but upgraded our lock. We wouldn’t hesitate to call him again if we have any problems in the future - and would always opt for him over any local (to our area) locksmith. More than 100% recommend, and thank you Anthony!

Anthony provided a quote for my Siegenia push slide tilt balcony door when the internal mechanism failed and it was locked in the closed position. The manufacturer recommended him as a local service provider. He worked with the manufacturer and local experts to fault find the issue over the phone, ordered the parts before coming and brought in other expertise to fix my door in one visit (approx 5 hrs) saving me the cost of a call out and inspection. Friendly, very reliable and honest. Would recommend.

I recently had Antony to fix the windows in my bathroom and bedroom, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He was punctual, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about his work. Mase and Marlon were a fabulous team working together to fix our front door lock which had become damaged. I locked myself out the house on a Saturday evening, it happens to the best of us! I phoned Tom and he arrived in 10 Mins, he was fast, efficient and a delight to talk to! True local 5 star service. The on-site visit for a non-emergency lock repair arranged within a few hours, provided reasonable estimate and did exactly the required amount of work. There was no pressure to upgrade or change the locks. On the second occasion, two years later, exactly the same great experience: another faulty lock that turned out to be more complicated to fix, required more work and different spare parts, but it was a breeze.

Had a broken lock to the Upvc toilet window and AL came on the Friday, part was ordered-delivered and installed on the Tuesday. Excellent communicator over the phone and has given us good advice on future care and adjusting ourselves. Pricing could have been a little clearer but nothing that would stop us recommending and or using again. Now our local goto locksmith!

I could not be happier with the service from G K Locksmiths, they are easily the best company I have dealt with while renovating my house, if I could award more than 5 stars I would and so I wanted to write them a detailed review! Quote: I spoke to 3 locksmith companies in total, G K Locksmiths quote came in the cheapest, and unprompted they provided the British Standard regulatory numbers to which their locks comply. On top of this, I was getting a thumb-turn installed and had initially planned to have it on the bottom lock of my two lock door, G K locksmiths rang up and explained it would be cheaper to install the thumb-turn on the upper lock as it means I could keep my brass handles and plates on the bottom lock, this saved me nearly £100 despite that being a loss in profit for them! Installation: When it came to installation G K Locksmiths were able to come to my house first-thing at 8.30 am so I could fit in the appointment before going to work and not have to take any time off. Rob, who installed my locks was a really nice, knowledgable, friendly bloke. The lock installation was top quality and Rob even advised me on where to get an extra set of keys cut closer to my house than G K Locksmiths office. As an example of the quality of work Rob provided, even though we were reusing my plates and handles on the bottom lock, he still took them off and straightened them so that they are more aesthitacly pleasing. Finally, I work in green-materials and recycling and when I got chatting to Rob about this he told me that G K Locksmiths recycle all their scrap metal and brass, along with the cardboard and plastic the locks come in which is great to hear! Overall: Great Service, great people, great value for money. Couldnt be happier

I have had two brilliant experiences with this business. Once when we were victims of a burglary and they came quickly to fix our door and add a new lock. Amazing and so understanding and also very reassuring after what was such a scary experience. Secondly, Rob just helped me over the phone- for free- to fix my window which wasn’t closing. I really can't recommend these guys enough. I called on the Thursday afternoon needing the locks changed on my new house and was booked in immediately for the Friday lunchtime. Rob arrived exactly on time, did a great job and was so friendly and helpful. He also gave me loads of tips on home security which were much appreciated. After an attempted break-in which badly damaged my front door, I feel I was very fortunate to find ASL (by googling). They very quickly replaced the door with a much stronger one with all required locks, hinge bolts etc and at a price that the insurer’s loss adjusters found to be reasonable. They were very friendly and helpful, as I had absolutely no experience of dealing with a damaged front door. Really appreciated!
