Brilliant 3 course dinner experience and the bar was brilliant, the bar tender was so helpful he even insisted on brining our drinks over to us from the bar!

Good 4stars. Lovely relaxing spa and dinning experience. Very friendly staff. Better than expected for a hotel on industrial estate. It doesn't look or feel like a business type hotel.

The restaurant has a cosy feel with warm lighting and very welcoming. Friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent, ordered from the specials board. My first visit and will definitely come again really enjoyed 👍🏼

The food was great. Tasted good and was served hot. Waitress service excellent we were offered fresh ground black pepper and cheese with our food and waiters were on hand if you needed anything. I have marked the atmosphere low only because it was very noisy, and we struggled to talk and listen to each other.

Our first experience dining here was delightful! Every step of the way ; booking and the end of the meal was perfected by the personable service from every single member of staff including the owner! Took my mother in law for her birthday and they even prepared a birthday sign on the wall, good wine and delicious , very generous portion of food! So well done and thank you for everything! Have no doubt recommending La Cantina! Thank you again! We'll definitely return.

We managed to book last minute for early evening. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Service was excellent. Food was really nice. Lovely evening.

Excellent authentic Italian restaurant. In a secluded spot near the Springs, you really need to know it's there or you could easily miss it. Food was excellent and service really friendly and efficient. Not the cheapest place but everything is really good quality and a really nice atmosphere. There are tables outside too for when the weather is nice.

I must admit I was unsure when I saw the location but was happily surprised. We had a large group and even without pre orders the food was out and with all dinners with no issue. The staff are friendly and care a lot about service. They did it with personality which always makes the dinning experience enjoyable. I can understand why it has such good reviews. Everyone within our party spoke very highly of the meal. Mine was very tasty. Highly recommend!

Tonight we visited Franco’s and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Franco and the staff are very welcoming, polite and go above and beyond for their customers offering a wide variety of meals. We highly recommend visiting here… we are regulars and will definitely be visiting again soon 😊😁

9 of us booked Sunday Lunch and the staff were brilliant, catered for allergies, and were all round faultless. Oh and the food was fantastic. If you haven't been then you are missing out. Well done Ox Club Team.😊

Unpretentious interior decor and service but the menu is on the higher end of dinners out. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the smoke from their open kitchen which adds to the fact they’re known for their wood fire cooking. Service was good overall, our server explained the specials in detail, answered my questions about the menu well. For starters, we got the oysters (specials), beef tartare and sourdough with chicken fat as starters (all stunning, my firm favourite was the beef tartare). For mains, I ended up with the guinea fowl with sweetcorn puree and it was absolutely divine. It did not taste gamey at all. My husband got the sirloin on the specials menu which was good, he just regret not asking for medium instead of “chef’s choice” (ended up being more medium rare but this is a personal choice). Glad we came here instead of Flat Iron as it was suited to the occasion (husband’s birthday meal).

Fantastic food, really lovely. Good service. Only marked it down because on the night we were there it was rather cold inside. Mind you was freezing outside !

Ox club never disappoints. Beautifully fresh food, perfectly executed. Koffman fries are a must. Service is always great too.

We enjoyed a family get together as a party of 13. We all chose different dishes, including 2 off the gluten free menu , and nobody was disappointed. Service and food excellent

Went for dinner on a busy Friday night and it was hand down the best pasta I’ve had in a long time! Will definitely been returning and recommending to friends and family! Staff couldn’t have been more attentive and pleasant- overall wonderful meal thank you:)

Escape is a top notch restaurant! Food and service is consistently high quality. As a family, we have visited on several occasions and it has always been a positive experience. Staff are fantastic and food is beautiful. This is a real gem of a restaurant. It’s worth checking the specials. There are some wonderful dishes here!

I was dubious about staying here after reading the reviews but I was pretty impressed. The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff are all very nice. I wasnt aware of the £50 deposit I had to pay on arrival however, so I think this should be made clearer. The champagne bar is lovely. The room I stayed in was gorgeous with a very comfy bed. The fridge kept making a loud tapping noise though. Pool was very small and quite crowded. It was also very cold so could definitely benefit from being heated up. The jacuzzi was cold too. The best part was the sauna where you can warm up! Showers are clean but there was no shower gel left. I ate in the restaurant where the food was nice but didn't reckon much to the wine, and at £10 a glass I've had nicer supermarket ones. Breakfast was good but I wasn't impressed that there were no veggie sausages out, and I had to ask for oat milk for the cereal which should have been already out really. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would go there again.

This place was absolutely breathtaking. It was a lovely stay. Everywhere was so clean and finished beautifully; a really grand but homely feel. The rooms were stunning and had a really comfy bed. Unfortunately didn’t get to the spa as was there for my partners business event but will definitely be back to enjoy its full potential. All staff were extremely polite and hard working. They called up to our room to see if we’d settled in ok. We woke up to snow the next morning it was amazing to see it like that! All gritters were out bright and early to sort the roads so we got home safely. 10/10!

We had a good stay on a voucher at Oulton. The staff were absolutely brilliant and really attentive. We really enjoyed our evening meal with the dine in for 32 offer. The spa we felt quite small so quite akward to use when busy. We got upgraded to a superior and I would massively recommend this if you can afford it- makes a big difference to the stay. Thank you to the lady who sorted our room change : ) Prices are expensive - but the eat in for 32 deal that we had on our voucher deal made it worth it. We would stay on a voucher again.

We all had carvery which was very decent price and great size. Meats were hit and miss gammon being excellent and beef being a little overcooked for our preference but overall very tasty. The deserts here were amazing especially for value, portions so big we had to take some home with us! Atmosphere was great really appreciated having a adult area which was quieter. All our servers were super attentive and friendly, definitely made the trip nicer. Thank you to our server Lucy for the experience.

Absolutely awesome beautiful food for breakfast for the price it’s amazing. Colette & sammii made feel so welcome. They could not have done anymore nothing was any trouble at all. As I have MND it means some times I’m unable to control my arms & hands. They brought me my coffee across so I didn’t end up with it all over me and the floor. I can’t thank them enough for kindness not just to me other customers as well.

We decided to visit for a nice Sunday carvery after our little boys swimming lesson. We were just about to go up to get it and then there was a power cut. We sat about for a while wondering if the power was going to come back on, it didn’t so we went up anyway and ate in the dark . The power did eventually come back on so we were able to get desserts. The staff were brilliant during the outage. It was a new experience but it hasn’t put us off from returning

Came for dinner after work with the family; food was fantastic; 3 carverys and a yorkshire wrap! Cant fault the staff - our waitress Naiomi was great!

Had a fantastic meal at Caballero Lounge ! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Excellent outdoor meal with wonderful friendly service. I had the Unicorn burger with crunchy onion rings, steak strips, peppercorn sauce and homemade chips. The pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord went down a treat.

Don't know about the food yet but service was good and so was the atmosphere although I think I'm a little too old for that pub

I am a bit biased by going here for over 41 years and not been let down yet. Has a lovely atmosphere. Now a sports bar with tv's visible throughout the 4 rooms. Car park to rear of building for warmer weather with a beer garden and children's play area. Good range of beers, spirits, wines and cocktails. Has new menu in place with range of meals.

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff and great food - went here yesterday as part of a large group booking (18 of us) and all of the food came out piping hot. I had the scampi which I'd definitely recommend! We'll be coming back again soon.

Called in for lunch following recommendations. Was greeted by Lizzie who was very friendly and welcoming. My wife had a cheese and ham panning, packed with ham and I had the Chorizo and prawn pasta, both meals excellent. Nice friendly atmosphere in the pub , will definitely be back.

Lovely corner pub in the center of Rothwell with a very long history, 200 years to be exact. Staff are super friendly and the food are good.

Called in for lunch with colleagues and absolutely amazing!! Mark and Ash and lovely and made us feel really welcome and at home! I had the chicken pie and both pie and the chips were just heaven! I love good, proper, home made pub food!!
