I could not recommend CHG highly enough on our recent Air Source Heat Pump Installation. From the very first initial contact and survey by Michael right through to the planning and installation by Stuart and the overall supervision and commissioning by Harry, the company were Professional, Smart and a total pleasure to deal with. They took care to ensure everything was planned as required for the property as well as dealing with all the administration details around the BUS Scheme available for ASHP to the room by room heat outputs and Radiator sizing. An overall 5 star experience !!!!

Matt arrived exactly on time and was very happy and friendly. He serviced my boiler, topped up on the water to improve pressure and checked the Fernox concentration . He operated efficiently and quickly but spent enough time to do a proper job . Very Happy with this company to continue to do my annual servicing, which they have been doing for the last 5 years.

Simon and his team have done all my landlord safety checks and fixed all the plumbing and heating household issues we've had over the past 4 1/2 years, as well as fitting a new oven. Huw has done amazing work for us one early Saturday morning when we woke up to find a big leak. Felt like we were in good hands from the first communication. Proved equally trustworthy and skilled. An absolutel lifesaver! Rang me extremely quickly and was able to give advice over the phone that enabled me to get my heating back on! I have been messed around by two other companies who didn’t even ask the basic questions that Huw did. It’s such a shame that he has moved out of area because I would love to have been a regular customer! He was really kind, friendly, and knowledgeable! Top guy!

Huw managed to squeeze me in short notice at the end of the day to fix some leaky radiator valves. He turned up on time and cracked on straight away. He did a brilliant job at fixing the radiator valves and even went one step further and fixed some pipes that were installed badly by the previous owner. All in all a very reliable tradesman and charges a reasonable price. Highly recommended

I booked my boiler service with Chris (like last year) and asked if he could fit a new tap in my kitchen too. Tap fitted, boiler serviced, fault found and rectified all in the same day. Was hassle free and he didn’t even eat all the biscuits I left out for him. I haven’t had my bill yet but I’m sure it will be reasonable and I will pay it promptly. Thanks to the whole team.

I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. Also I think it’s wonderful that Joe takes on apprentices, to train the next generation of electricians.

Todd has come to our home on a number of occasions, to fit a shower, new bathroom, remove old radiators, fit new radiators, leaking taps. We had so many problems with our home through renovations and Todd was fantastic on each occasion, fitting us in last minute to ensure other trades could complete works. Had water leaking through the ceiling. Phoned Todd early on a Saturday Morning and he was with us within minutes. The leek was found to be coming from within a wall and in an awkward position. Although he was limited for time he still ensured that all the necessary work was completed. Cannot fault the service provided. Will definitely recommend and use again in the future.

I thank my lucky stars I found Todd. The inlet valve on my combi boiler was not switching off. As I am new to the area I now live in, I knew no contractors and had no recommendations. I went to what I thought was a local accredited company for help. They charged me £128 for a call out and diagnostic visit. They then wanted to charge me £155 for a new part, £207 for labour + VAT. In despair at this extortionate sum, I contacted Todd. He visited the next day, unjammed the valve, gave it a squirt of oil and charged me just £80. This is your man. He knows exactly what he is doing and does it quickly and efficiently. His contact number is now permanently in my phone. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you so much, Todd.

Called late evening and spoke to Luke following a leak at a relatives house. He was going to attend within 15 mins but after we isolated the water and arranged for him to attend the following morning- he attended resolved the problem and advised on a couple of other issues. Really nice man and highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Luke highly enough. He is very friendly and excellent at his job. He is a qualified plumber and heating engineer so can do everything. We virtually knocked our house down and rebuilt it and Luke did everything, refitting bathrooms and toilets to fitting a brand new central heating system. He is extremely professional and we wouldn't work with anyone else.

Well what can I say, Malcolm was efficient, meticulous, courteous, polite and professional. He kept me fully informed as to when he was able to arrive and in the end arrived ahead of schedule which was brilliant. My old toilet needed to be replaced and Malcolm consulted with me every step of the way before doing anything, so that I was fully aware of the work involved and the potential cost. My old toilet had been installed before the floor tiles had been laid which meant some of the tiles potentially could have cracked as the old toilet base was removed. However Malcolm worked carefully and he successfully removed the toilet base without any tiles cracking. Very impressed! The old toilet base dimensions were unusual but after several phone calls Malcolm managed to source a new toilet which covered the hole left by the old toilet. The new toilet is fitted to such a high standard and looks far better than the one before in both design and quality. It is also fitted correctly on top of the floor tiles. What a huge, huge, huge improvement. I am so pleased to have found a plumber who I can highly recommend and I will definitely be using him again in the future should the need arise. Our 20 year old gas boiler was replaced with a new Worcester Bosch unit by MJS. The whole process from quote to installation took just three weeks. We were impressed with the friendly and professional approach throughout and, apart from a minor issue in connecting the programmer to the boiler, the installation went without a hitch. Very happy with the work that Tap did to repair a leak in a very awkward place recently.
