I called Gareth as I had experienced issues with my boiler and, in addition it needed a service. Gareth arrived when he said he would and ensured the boiler was back up and running without an issue and serviced it for me. He talked me through what he was doing / had done and ensured everything was left as he had found it when finished.

Gareth is excellent. Offers advice. Finishes to an exceptional standard. Covers both heating and plumbing/bathroom remodelling a bathroom and repairing my boiler. Professional and timely. Great value. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Gareth has done a number of jobs for me including boiler maintenance, fitting radiator valves and installation of a new boiler. His quotes are fair and his work is always excellent. I have been very happy with all his work.

I booked a visit from Gareth to quote for our job , he came on time and did a thorough survey . He quoted a good price and in an acceptable time frame which we agreed on. Gareth arrived to do the work on time and with all the right tools and equipment and completed the work without any issues additionally Gareth kept the work area clean and removed all the waste on completion. He tested everything to ensure compliance with legislation and a few days later we received the GasSafe Certification he had organised. We have always used MDH for last 14 years. Very good practically and technically. Just had a replacement vanity unit and the two gentlemen with Matt were extremely courteous and willing to answer questions. Likewise Matt will always explain when asked. Additionally, very good value too.

I wanted 5 radiators replaced and a thermomostat added to 2 other radiators. I had a lot of difficulty even getting someone to quote for the work so I was pleasantly surprised how quickly Liam got back to me and then booked me in for the work. He arrived on time and completed the work within his estimate. He was very thorough and insisted on tidying up afterwards. Overall a pleasure to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Just grateful that I had stocked up on teabags and Caramel wafers beforehand.

We recently had a new boiler installed. Greenstar were very good with their communication and competitively priced. We wanted a slightly bigger boiler than planned - they were happy to come again and remeasure the space. This enabled us to have the ideal boiler for us. Chris who installed our boiler was very helpful and talked me through the new boiler system. Professional, good communication and efficient engineers. Would recommend.

This company was a great find. The lady who answered the phone took all the details of the problem which was a water leak coming up through the floor and told me Simon would be with me within the next three hours. Simon phoned when he was on his way. He worked out where the problem was coming from which was behind a cupboard in the kitchen, then proceeded to replace the pipe. All very efficient. Highly recommend Greenstar.

Ryan came to plumb our washing machine into our newly created utility outbuilding. His work was excellent and he kindly helped us carry the washer out to its new location once he'd finished the plumbing connections and installed a stopcock for the outbuilding. Very tidy, very good quality job. Excellent. Highly recommend this company.

We arranged comparison quotes for an Air Source Heat Pump installation from other local companies. Ryan Newman and Ryan Moulton at Holt Plumbing and Heating gave us a very detailed and competitive quote and they provide a comprehensive service. The installation team were highly professional. Removal of the oil fired boiler and installation of a Nibe Air Source Heat Pump is now complete together with replacement radiators, plumbing and electrics. We have a comfortably warm house throughout the day, and in the evening reduce the heat from bedroom radiators. The hot water provided is more than adequate! We are incredibly impressed with the service that this company provides, and also the technology provided by Nibe, the heat pump is quieter than the old oil fired boiler, and appears to be very energy efficient! We thoroughly recommend this company.

After dithering about whether we should get solar for over a year Holt gave us detailed projections and a very competitive quote and in under a month from saying yes the panels were up and generating next day! Heating stopped working in depths of January with 3 small children. Simon arrived within the hour, out of hours on a Saturday evening and fixed the issue quickly. Friendly and professional, would absolutely recommend.

We had a leak on our cylinder that was very dated and Simon was able to come at short notice to check it out and gave us several options for the repair, we decided to upgrade the system which required working in the loft for quite some time. Simon refitted a new cylinder on his time off within a few days, he kept us updated on the progress, he was really helpful and honest about the results we would get in various places in the house. We are very happy with all that has been fitted, there is a huge difference in pressure with our hot water within the whole house and no more noisy pumping system on the first floor, it is above expectations! We hardly knew he was there whilst doing the work. We strongly recommend his services and will definitely contact him again for any future work
