We arranged comparison quotes for an Air Source Heat Pump installation from other local companies. Ryan Newman and Ryan Moulton at Holt Plumbing and Heating gave us a very detailed and competitive quote and they provide a comprehensive service. The installation team were highly professional. Removal of the oil fired boiler and installation of a Nibe Air Source Heat Pump is now complete together with replacement radiators, plumbing and electrics. We have a comfortably warm house throughout the day, and in the evening reduce the heat from bedroom radiators. The hot water provided is more than adequate! We are incredibly impressed with the service that this company provides, and also the technology provided by Nibe, the heat pump is quieter than the old oil fired boiler, and appears to be very energy efficient! We thoroughly recommend this company.

After dithering about whether we should get solar for over a year Holt gave us detailed projections and a very competitive quote and in under a month from saying yes the panels were up and generating next day! Great communication, from Mark, Ryan and the team and the works carried out neatly and without any disruption. Highly recommended for both the panels and any boiler work required. 5 stars all round.

Central heating not working - Pete came out quickly and soon diagnosed the problem. Fitting a new pump to get the heating running again and then returning to fit a hew hot water tank as the old one was leaking. Great and timely service. Would definitely recommend.

Booked Peter for a boiler service and pressure switch change to my Glow-worm boiler. Pete was flexible with time and date for the service, as I live 80 miles from the property. I chose the coldest week of the year to book a new boiler, but PSP Plumbing & Bathrooms completed the job efficiently & as swiftly as possible. My existing plumbing threw up a couple of problems which were dealt with in a professional way with no inconvenience to me. My house is now lovely & warm. Pete was brilliant. He managed to come over on the same day I contacted him regards our boiler not working, was quick and efficient, and not too expensive. He was also very honest about work that may need doing in future on our boiler and heating system, without pressuring us to get the work done straight away. Huw managed to squeeze me in short notice at the end of the day to fix some leaky radiator valves. He turned up on time and cracked on straight away. He did a brilliant job at fixing the radiator valves and even went one step further and fixed some pipes that were installed badly by the previous owner. All in all a very reliable tradesman and charges a reasonable price. Highly recommended

I picked Steve because he was top of checkatrade. He is very quick at diagnosing and correcting problems. His charges are fair, transparent and combined with speed, excellent value for money. He is very straight talking and professional. Probably the best plumber I have come across in 25 years. The only problem- he is busy and you have to be prepared to wait for a slot.

Just need to tell everyone what a brilliant job Duncan Sharples has done in completely refurbishing our bathroom. We knew he was good - we just didn't know that he was this good! We have always used Duncan for our emergency plumbing, but this was a really big job, involving completely "gutting" the family bathroom and totally re-fitting it - and this included tiling all the walls. We could not be more pleased with the standard of his work, which is absolutely excellent. The bathroom is now quite beautiful. Duncan is a very highly skilled plumber, with a totally professional approach. We trust him 100% and would highly recommend him to others.

James and his team are absolutely and completely trustworthy and I wholeheartedly recommend them. My brothers boiler died when I was housesitting a year or so ago. I contacted Southcoast Boilers on a recommendation and had a new boiler installed - the service, communication and efficiency was outstanding, but I left my brother to write a review on his return. A year later, and I have just had a phone call from James to tell me that both my brother and myself paid the deposit, and a year later, refunded me £1500! Absolute honesty and integrity. Had a problem where my heating would not turn off. Called SCBS who sent Richard over. Very knowledgeable guy, identified the problem in only a few minutes. It needed a part so a few days later another guy called Ben came over and got the system working perfectly very quickly. Both very polite, efficient and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who has problems with their heating.

Sometimes things don't go to plan, we have all had days like this haven't we. Toby and crew attended when our boiler threw a complete wobbler just days before Christmas and after a lot of checking, head scratching, cross checking and calls so the manufacturer support, managed to find the issue and get us back warm and toastie again. I fear many others would have simply written the boiler, heat exchanger or the circuit board off, meaning a bill into the £1000s, but Thorne & Thorne Ltd know their stuff and that's why we have been using Toby and team for over 10 years. Cant recommend highly enough.

Mums heating system started malfunctioning on Wednesday, called to see if someone could come out. An engineer was in the area so was able to be with us within the hour. A gault was diagnosed and also comleted a boiler service. Absolutely brilliant! Unfortunately the following day there was no heating again, called mid morning and an engineer was able to come out and sort another issue. All up and running. Again superb service at such short notice. Cannot be faulted. All in all "Absolutely Brilliant Service " Highly recommended.

I had my bathroom done by Toby and his team. The result was so amazing. I just love My new bathroom.I can't thank them enough for there hard work and commitment.Toby put my heating in years ago. Sam replaced my old and dated shower enclosure which required stripping back to the wall timber, dry lining and tiling along with the fitting of shower tray and doors. Along the way Sam identified two small leaks and a problem with the waste which he also resolved as part of the job. Price charged was as quoted. All rubbish cleared was by Sam, and there was a lot !
